It is a very new hotel. We checked-in during the grand opening. Very clean and spacious room. Staff showed excellent service and are very friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect for dining, shopping and access to the train station.

They should advise clients not to hoard the toiletries and coffee. The mirrors are not temperature regulated, so after a hot shower you won't be able to see anything 😅. (The only mirror in the room is in the bathroom.)

Strategic location, easy access to MRT stations. There's coin laundry, microwave and ice machine. You can buy food at Family Mart near hotel and heat them in the morning, don't need to have breakfast in hotel. The breakfast at hotel cost 1800 Yen, and in Convenience Store you can get about 600-800 yen for very nice breakfast.

Check Out process! Only until 11 am, not 12.. There is one guy (baldy hair) very rude to the guest which late to check out. He banging the room door and asking the guest when gonna check out, sarcastic way. And after you got those 'hospitality' treatment, you still got to pay extra for 30 minutes late. 1000 yen each room for 30 minutes late and got the bonus from 1 very rude staff.

The location was excellent. The subway was a 2min walk away and Dontonbori was about 5mins away. Shops and eateries were right outside the hotel. Toiletries were very generous and comes in larger bottles, enough to not need refilling for 2 people staying 6 nights. Front office staff are friendly and speak English well.

The room was very small (but many in Japan are like this). Not much room for 2 people to move around. Only 1 pillow provided so would have been nice to have an extra one. But I kept forgetting to ask for an extra pillow, so they might have provided one if I had asked. There isn't a drop off point for a taxi directly in front of the hotel so we had to walk about 5mins away to a taxi stand.

we stayed at the residence annex..which was like the regular Japanese apartment. It was new and the amenities were very. modern and have space for movement and luggage with its own small kitchen and dining table. Much larger than typical Japanese hotel room. It was also right near a 7-11 and in the middle of namba/sennichimae so no problem with transportation, entertainment, shopping and meals. Very good facility.

A minor concern is the cleaning of the room but largely collection of trash. Room cleaning in our case (we stayed for 9 days), our room was cleaned only twice (every 3 days) during our stay. With the amount of in-room food, and shopping and trash we had, the bins (which were only good for the toilet) was quite full every day. So by the 2nd day, our accumulated trash was already piling up inside. Plus since I am a recovering surgery patient and wearing adult diapers and have to change regularly (3-4 times/day), it was quite a load. But otherwise, we loved our stay at KOKO Hotel...in fact, this is the 3rd Koko Hotel we’ve stayed - Pattaya, Thailand; Tokyo, and now, Osaka...ALL very well served hotel.

Stayed in Residential unit which was comfortable enough for 4 people. Space is typical for Japanese hotels, and the separate toilet & bath is a nice touch. Laundry machine/dryer-in-one is good. Easy check-in/out. Breakfast has good selections.

For a unit that accommodates 4 adults, this hotel only provided 2 keys and they would NOT give more even if you request it (and even willing to pay for extra key for everyone’s convenience). Hotel does not have sound-proof units, so you can hear the noise from the busy street.. but tolerable.

Internet speed was decent. Location was great and there was a lot of food choices nearby. Train station was a short walk away. Room was small but well designed to accomodate 4 of us and it had its own shower and bath, washing machine with dryer and kitchen complete with everything you need.

Although the advanced booking was suppose to include the taxes, they still charged me for the taxes upon arrival. Cleaning was done every 3 days, And they do it i the afternoons which could be irritating if you want to take a bath afternoons instead of braving the sun outside

Koko hotel simply feels like our family is in our own home. We love their room size which is perfect for family travelers of 5, especially in Japan! You have literally space to move around and about without bumping into the room fixtures, or your stuff or your companion. Room is carefully planned like separate toilet, shower/tub and powder room/sink. Daily needs can be addressed simultaneously without the hassle of waiting for one's turn for necessities. The dining table is big, kitchen utensils are of good quality, and the ref is way bigger than the usual hotel ref. And what my kids loved most are the comfy, clean, nice-smelling linens and large double beds, one each for my 3 kids. The AC works so well, you will love the comfy comforter at night, and the lights that are well-thought of. Indeed, our 6-night stay went on lightning speed, we barely noticed until it was time to pack & transfer to Fukuoka. It was just unfortunate that Koko-Fukuoka was full on the week of our schedule. Furthermore, location is also one to aim for. It's literally steps away from the subway and shopping streets and malls are on all directions. Restaurants are also on very short walking distance. Surely, will book Koko on our next Osaka vacation.

Would be great to have staff or reception desk on the annex building. A warm smile or a greeting to welcome guests after a day's tour or shopping spree is just a welcome treat.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. It’s easily accessible by public transportation, even from the airport, and makes a perfect base for visiting any of the city’s main attractions. The Dotonbori district and surrounding shopping streets are just a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel is well-equipped, though the rooms are quite small – which is standard for the area. That said, everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, offering both Western and Japanese options – a perfect way to start the day. The staff were kind, polite, and always ready to help. We’ve stayed here twice already, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Great location, great breakfast, great facilities – we just wish the rooms were a little bit bigger. 😊

Very near to the train station and Dotonbori

Since we stayed in a family room, we are on the other bldg. The amenities like coffee, toiletries are on the main bldg. We have to pass there first to get the amenities and go out again to proceed to the other bldg. I suggest they have a connecting hallway so we dont need to go out anymore. Also, these stuffs are not available 24 hrs. Sad. What if the guests arrived sooo late, if we get tpiletries or coffee in the wee hours, we have noting to get because it’s not avaiable 24 hrs. Sometimes, only few remain. They don’t refill them. Bad.

We loved the location! Easy to reach and few steps away from dotonbori. The residential room we stayed in was comfortable, well thought of and quite spacious for the four of us. The twin beds were comfy and big enough for 2. The washing machine was amazing. Quick and clean in no time. We didn’t cook but really appreciate the real-size table for four to have take out meals together. Would stay there again and recommend!

I would suggest an extra safety precautions for the residential hallway, since it’s more like a balcony walkway. The railing could be taller or some sorts, especially eerie for taller people and ones with kids.
