The staff were very nice and had good English. They cleaned daily so it was always very clean inside. Locations is great as it is just down a few blocks from one of the main markets. Lots of food and shops around. Unfortunately no elevator, just stairs, and you’ll need to go up a flight or two depending on the floor you’re staying on. There’s a decent amount of luggage space in the shared rooms. We were able to fit 2 checked bags and a carry on in a 6 bed room. They provide towels and slippers so you don’t have to purchase them. Restrooms and showers are very clean and there’s even nice shampoo, conditioner and body shampoos. Beds are a decent size but not the most comfortable. Curtains do a good enough job of keeping light out. Definitely need the AC turned on at night on warmer days. If not it can get uncomfortably hot. Door to outside has a number lock which is nice. Overall a really great hostel if you’re staying for a few nights.

Staffs were helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable. There are 2 shower rooms for lady and 2 shower rooms for man on 2/F. The water was hot and strong. There were a small safety box, plugs, 2 hooks and 2 hangers on the bunk wall. The location was really great. 5 minutes walk from Nankai Namba Station(南海難南站) and Namba City. 3 minutes walk to Kurmon Market (黑門市場). Many restaurants, bars and convenience store nearby. Paid 3500yen(tax incl.) on Saturday night. They offered luggage storage before check in time and after check out time.

The star of this hostel is its location. An easy walk to restaurants, shopping Dotonbori and train stations. Our room was big enough, shared bathroom on the same floor, there is a sink on top of the toilet so when you flush you can wash your hands and then water goes into the toilet. The hostel is clean enough, staff seem to be cleaning quite a bit. I would recommend it mostly for location but it was fine for 3 nights.

I didn't like that there was no sink in the small kitchen, so you had to go fill up your water bottle in the bathroom sink...that was often full of long black hair. The mattress in our triple room wasn't really even a futon, your bones hit the floor through the mattress. Luckily we had a triple room for 2 of us so we could use the extra mat and duvet for extra padding but it was still very hard.

it's closer to nippombashi than namba. the area is very local, a lot of locals and izakayas, for a solo traveller with a little anxiety it wasn't very peaceful for me (just osaka in general too). hostel does not allow for luggage storage. there seemed to be a lot of chinese people here, the staff all seem to speak chinese too + clean sheets, area was clean in general + near kuromon nakagawa (decent supermarket, located in kuromon market) + only 8 beds per dorm room, not mixed + curtains were very effective in blocking out light + has fridge and microwave, small area to eat and make tea & coffee + good security as the entrance is a pin number lock

- bed was thin, pillow was hard - very very inflexible rules. no luggage storage before check in (i came at like 2pm and the lady showed me a sign saying i wld have to pay 1000yen for check in before 3pm :/) and after check out, the hostel is small so they dont have any space for luggage storage... - no elevator (there are at least 2 flights of stairs depending where your dorm is), no washing machine - living area is small - slow WiFi

The location was perfect, near Namba and Nipponbashi (Den-Den Town). Proper slippers were provided, and the guesthouse was overall very clean, from the beds to the restrooms. Beds were quite comfortable, and equipped with a light, two outlets and a small safe. The guesthouse entrance and bedrooms are protected with door codes.

The guesthouse was very hard to locate, as only a small sign on a wall shows the way. If you are lost, trust Google Maps, stand on the parking lot and look for the sign. Other guests can be loud, so I recommend bringing earplugs. Finally, adding a dustbin and a mirror in shower rooms would be a good addition.

Friendly and polite staff. The room had 4 beds which is great because there isn't too much noise (some capsule hotels squeeze many people into tiny areas). The place was cleaned every day. The location is amazing! I stayed 5 nights and the price was great.

The downstairs shared bathroom door must stay open. I wanted more privacy, so I just used the upstairs bathroom without a problem.

A no-frills hostel experience; just what I was looking for. The price was right, the location was fantastic, and the facilities were in great condition. Definitely a good value for your money given its prime location.

The number of sinks, toilets, and showers were pretty low in proportion to the total number of possible guests, which I imagine could cause logistical problems for guests who had a train to catch (solution: give yourself plenty of time, and then some, to take care of any grooming... better an hour early than a minute too late!). Also, while I felt safe while staying at the hostel, there was nobody at the front desk in the evenings/nights/early mornings, so I'm not sure what I would have done had there been an emergency.

the lady staff is very kind. She will love to chat with you if you feel like talking to someone.

If there is a fan in the room, it would be perfect.

The location is good, the quadruplet room is okay (the bed position is kinda fun actually :))). They have slippers, I like it! The staff was really nice to us, they created a whole city map in the hallway, with suggested attractions and restaurants, that was really nice!

The building didn't have an elevator. I had to lift my luggages up to the third floor, it took a certain time and effort and affected the others since I had to leave at an early time.

The size of the accommodation is that of a typical Japanese hostel. We stayed in a 4-person room for 4 people, and although the space wasn't very large, we used it without any inconvenience. They didn't clean it every day, but they changed the towels. However, check-in and check-out times were set, so I had to be careful to meet the times. We were especially worried when we received a message saying that if we arrived after 10pm on the first day of our reservation, our stay would be automatically cancelled. Other than that, the next time I go to Osaka, I will choose this place, which is the best place considering the price and location.
