Location was convenient, about 8 minutes walk from metro station. We stayed in a double adjoining room for a family of 4. Room and bathroom is small and compact, it was expected. Amenities were provided at lobby, pajamas were provided. Staff don’t all speak English but they were very helpful with translation app. The hotel helped us forwarded our luggages to our hotel in Tokyo and the entire process was smooth.

I really love the ambiance of the facility, its awesome location, and the super nice staff. With how close, and I mean close, the hotel is to bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping, you literally can spend your entire vacation in and around the hotel without ever really seeing the rest of Osaka.

The small size of the room was a bit off-putting. Coming from America, I'm used to lots of space, although I had to remind myself that space is at a premium here in Japan.

Very easy check in and check out process. I loved the self serve stations, making the process faster. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. I loved that there was a tv channel to show when the laundry machines were in use.

It felt a little weird walking at night due to the clubs and neighboring businesses. There were guards in suits outside at night so it felt like we were going the wrong way. I ended up being allergic to the laundry detergent, which is a shame. I’ve never been allergic to any laundry detergents so I was very confused when I started to break out into hives. The machine auto dispenses detergent so be careful if you have sensitive skin.

I had a small Japanese style room, very similar to a Toyoko standard room, only with a futon and missing a desk. Comfortable and quiet, and chosen because of the proximity to Osaka main station and the metro system. Close to a lot of little restaurants, and, using public transit, a good spot to launch daytrips throughout the Kansai area within an hour of leaving the hotel.

The elevator system is slightly confusing, as it will always stop at the lobby, even if you tap your card in. This is for security, but can cause a little confusion. Also, the 'glass of wine' system in the lobby is a bit silly, but I suppose it's fine.

The staff was super helpful, the beds were really comfortable. The location was also very good. Close enough to Osaka-Umeda station that you can go on foot (10-15min) but there's also a nearby subway station in case you don't want to walk to Osaka-Umeda. With regards to the room: though the room isn't super small, if you have a lot of luggage (or big luggage) it can take up quite a bit of space. And there is no closet/storage space in the room.

The only down side is that the bathroom was a little bit smaller than expected compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Japan. I'm used to the rooms being on the smaller side, this one was fine in my opinion, but the bathroom felt a little bit cramp. That being said, it doesn't take away from the great accommodation, service or location! I really liked this hotel!

What really struck me about the hotel was how clean everything was. The rooms, the lobby—it all felt spotless. Despite being in an area bustling with nightlife, I always felt incredibly safe walking around, even late in the evening. It was a huge relief to not have to worry. Another thing I absolutely loved was the incredible variety of food options right at my doorstep. No matter what I was craving, there was a restaurant for it, from great local spots to international cuisine. It was the perfect location for a foodie like me.

Bathrooms are a bit small with thin walls. Made for some funny moments however :D

I only stayed one night at the Rise Osaka in a twin room and was very jet lagged, so my memories are a bit hazy! The room was pretty small, but clean and comfortable. We were able to leave our bags before checking in which was convenient. Location was good.

The bathroom was super tiny, with a tap that swings from the sink to the bath, which kept confusing me, but it was clean. My son and GF stayed for a week before I arrived and they wasn't very impressed by the breakfast. Their double room was even smaller than our twin.

We had two sets of connecting rooms for a group of 6 and it was nice for our size. The rooms are smaller than expected, but if everyone keeps their items tucked or stored, the room was perfect. The location was wonderful, bustling streets and fantastic food on one side, with a short walk over a river to get to the train station. The breakfast was good, you had 2 options of Western (not solely American) and Japanese. If you have a group separated by floor, the elevator is operated by key card and will only allow you to your rooms floor, so a bit of maneuvering is required to visit party members on other floors.

Being fairly close to Yodoyabashi station was very convenient, so it was easy for me to get around Osaka. There's also a Lawson very close by. The pajamas provided were quite comfortable, and luckily I didn't have much issue doing my laundry with their facilities. I found the bed to be very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked quickly to make the room comfortable after a long day out. On my last day I had trouble finding a mailbox with a slot big enough to put in my pocket wifi envelope. I went back to the hotel and asked one of the staff if she knew of one nearby. She found one near the train station on her phone, which was a lifesaver for me as I was already running a little late. Thank you so much! I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Osaka.
