Great location! The building's basement has direct access to Yodoyabashi station (Midosuji subway line). Very easy to transfer to Namba Station and Umeda Station to get to the JR line and Nankai line, so getting around was very easy. Surrounding areas are very quiet and clean. Convinience stores, izakayas, post office nearby. The amenities bar at the reception area is always in stock. They even provide items other hotels don't usually provide, e.g. disposable bath sponges, hair ties, facial masks, etc! Pajamas were provided, too. As an introvert, the self-check in and self check-out option is great. Staff are super patient and helpful. Microwaves, coin laundry machines, ice machine, and drinks vending machine available in the "common" area near the reception. One of the laundry machines accept IC cards, which was really convinient.

Location was a bonus , close to the business district lots of high end shops and places to eat/drink . Dottonbori was a steady 40 min walk if wanted a change from the subway , this was an added bonus as the basement level in the lift took you straight to the subway ! Breakfast was good it had a mix of food to choose from and the staff were very polite and attentive ( as were all the staff in the hotel ) . Room was ideal for a solo traveler , comfortable bed with legs so i could store the suitcase out of the way , bathroom had everything i needed with a good shower , A/C was efficient and needed as i visited in July/August ! I would definitely consider staying there again next time i visit Osaka .

Maybe a bit more variety in the breakfast , but that is really being picky !

The rooms are cozy, clean and the best part about this hotel is the location. Even though it's situated in the office building area (not so much shops and restaurants around like Shihsaibashi), you can literally take its elevator down to B1 that connects you to the Metro lines. You can go to Shinsaibashi in 2 stops, Umeda in 1 stop and trains that goes directly to Kyoto. I didn't have to worry about walking out in the blazing hot summer to get to the Metro station. Highly recommend this!

Would be great if there are convenient stores around but it's not really the hotel's problem.

My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Japan in January 2024 and were very happy with it. This is our 2nd Fresa Inn location (first was in Hiroshima in 2023) - the staff was very friendly and spoke English, the rooms were clean and the location was very good. The hotel even had elevator access to the Osaka Metro, only a few mins walk from Yodoyabashi Station. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located on top of the metro and Keihan lines which made for a much easier getting in & out. Also on the last day it was easy to get onto the trains and head to the airport even with large bags. The hotel is very comfortable, well located and connected. The breakfast was really good, the best Sotetsu Fresa breakfast I have had in Japan. There was a machine for coffee, matcha, warm beverages, also a machine that served different types of soup. The breakfast offering was big with a of variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even suggested which public bath to go to. The amenities available from reception are a great help and even getting extra pillows or a thermometer was not an issue. Will definitely stay here again when in Osaka.

Everything was great.

Very nice, comfy and quiet hotel. The room is not that small compared to other places I’ve stayed. The bathroom was large enough and very well equipped. The special products and pyjamas are at the reception downstairs which is easy to grab. 🚇 For people coming in from the subway: 🚇 - Walk towards Exit 2 (because exit 16-17 are not marked anywhere and those are the hotel exits) - Take the long corridor with the gacha machine - One you see the Riat store in the right corridor - The entrance elevator is on the right, easy to find (See pictures for reference) Once I got that one down, it’s such a good location, there’s a main subway line and a main train line (to go on a day trip to Uji for exemple) and it’s just so easy. The main red line truly goes all across Osaka and made moving around so easy. Just for the location this hotel is a must and having the direct elevator access is also very smooth. There’s coffees and bakery all around as well a very good restaurants. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and The soundproofing was on point, the bed was very comfortable and the AC was very quiet. Absolutely not issues with this stay in Osaka. The staff was friendly and spoke good English too. They clean the room every third day, but you can always ask for fresh towels with the door sign.

-breakfast is more japanese, so if you need a continental breakfast, then this is not one (but if you don't reserve breakfast, still you can eat in a restaurant or you find something nice in the shop or in the bakery) - in the morning you have to wait long for the elevator

This was our favourite hotel out of all 5 hotels that we stayed at in Japan. The location was perfect. You can take the elevator right down to the subway that will take you right into the centre. They provided us with a free upgrade and we loved the room! The toilet seat was always very warm compared to other hotel toilet seats. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have laundry facilities. There were tons of USB outlets which was very convenient. The hotel is clean and has everything you need. Just down the street was a great restaurant called Miraizaka that’s open till 1am and was always filled with locals, not tourists. The prices were incredible and the food was great! This is definitely where we’d stay again when visiting Osaka.

Middle of business district with train station with its own entrances directly underneath the building which is very convenient, take the elevator to BL. Very quiet area when work hours have finished 15-20 minutes train to most popular spots Decent size room - solo traveller and it was perfect for me. If you do your research on cafe/restaurants in the area, there’s actually cute cafe near for a quick eat if you don’t want to travel far or dine in for breakfast

elevator smelled like strong chlorine/chemicals most days which was very offsetting. Had construction next door happening at night which is completely fine but may be an issue if you can’t sleep and may want your window open for fresh air, only lasts a few hours but still a inconvenience

The hotel is right on Yodoyabashi underground station, so you can take the elevator to -1F, and you are in the station. It is very easy to travel to kyoto and other destinations. The hotel was clean and modern, self check in, and check out. Loads of amenities on the 3F as well as pyjamas. The room had a mini fridge, the bed was comfy, and you could open the window. You can see if the washing machines are occupied on your tv - tv had only 6 channels all in japanese. Housekeeping was great.

The hotel is in a remote location- business area-, so if you are planning to spend most of your days in osaka, you will need to travel everywhere as it took over 40 minutes to walk to the center of Dotonbori. Also, there are barely any food restaurants around. There is Lawson close by but if you are looking for bigger cheap supermarket ,Life is about 15 minutes walk. Also, nearby roads must be favourite for motorbikes and fast cars as you can hear them speed very loudly throughout the night.
