I booked this due to a last minute problem with another hotel, and it was a great turn of luck. The room was super clean and was laid out so that there was plenty of room space to open my bag. The desk was nice as well. The bed was quite comfy, and there was a control panel at the headboard for the lights and charging. The AC/heater worked great and had clear instructions on how to use it. Breakfast was good - yogurt, fruit, inari, tofu, soups, veggies, and proteins - worth the cost in my opinion! The hotel is also located right above a 7/11 and a 10ish minute walk from dotonburi. Nearby there is also america mura and plenty of shopping - GREAT location!

Nothing!

Hotel was located close enough to Dotonbori but not right on it. Located near shops, restaurants, and train station. AC was remote controlled which was nice but you need to insert your room key by the door in order to turn on electricity. Would stay here again.

Check out was at 10 am, which is usually an hour before most places I've stayed at. If you book the room directly on their website, check out is later at 12pm. Had I known this, would have booked on their site instead of on Booking.com

I looked for a quieter place away from the hustle and bustle of Namba and Dotonbori, but not too far away in terms of transportation for sightseeing and found this place. The facilities and materials used are of high quality and everything is thought for your comfort. There is 7eleven just below. Subway is also within walking distance. Wifi works well. The bed is big enough for one person and very comfortable for a good sleep. Breakfast has a choice of western or Japanese style options. Maybe not perfect but enough and satisfying.

The staff were very thorough in meeting all of our expectations in regards to our stay. Since it was our first time in Japan, we had many concerns about almost everything. The staff did an amazing job helping us to navigate any issues that we had.

I'm nitpicking but I wish there was an option to not have new towels everyday. I requested to not have cleanup as to reduce our amount of water consumption (including towel changes), but the hotel still put new ones on our door everyday. Not a huge problem, but I was hoping to be more environmentally friendly during my stay at the hotel.

Right in the tourist core of Osaka, the hotel is an easy walking distance to the Dotonbori and other attractions of Osaka. The location is pretty prime and close to an easy walking distance to the metro to get there. The room is typical of Japanese business hotels, and the breakfast was superb. There is also a convenient store downstairs.

You must take the elevator to get to the lobby, it's not on the ground floor.

I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel! The accommodations were not only comfortable but also exuded a sense of luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The attention to detail in room cleanliness and decor was impressive. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and style. Can't wait to return!

Title: A Plea for TV Freedom I recently experienced a stay at a hotel where the TV situation left much to be desired. The limited channels and pay-per-view model were a major downside to an otherwise pleasant stay. In this digital age, guests expect more flexibility when it comes to entertainment. It's high time hotels consider providing complimentary access to a wider array of channels or streaming services. A TV that needs to be free is not just a desire but a necessity for a more satisfying guest experience. Let's embrace the era of unrestricted entertainment for a truly enjoyable stay.

A perfect location for exploring Osaka. Just couple of mins walk to the Midosuji line for onward connections from Shin-Osaka (bullet train) and to the airport. Dontonburi is walkable in 10-15 mins for all the famous street food but there are great bars & restaurants closer than that. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, big enough (considering Japanese standards) and the shower was excellent. We were on the 12th floor and there was no noise inside or outside on any of our 3 nights. Breakfast was good, although we stuck mainly to the pastries. Overall it was brilliant, and a great base for us to see Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima combined with our JR pass.

Nothing major!

A few mins walk to Shinsaibashi station and a huge department store (Daimaru)! There's also a 7/11 located at the ground floor of the same building as the hotel. The room we booked was really spacious for the two of us! Love it!

To go to the reception, you need to take an elevator to the 3rd floor which only had one. Could get busy sometimes. The elevators to the rooms are different. The aircon also shuts down every 5-10 mins which was quite annoying.

The location is good. In the midst of the 'American Village' as it's called. Lots of cafes and vintage and youngsters' fashion shops. Friendly staff. Operates a double lift system in that you get to reception level (3) in one lift then transfer to the second lift for rooms.

From the street, the front of the hotel is not identified in English in large letters by the name 'Via Inn'. It just says Hotel followed by Chinese characters. There IS a small ground-level sign by the elevator, just to the left, opposite the convenience store, which one might miss. We walked past it twice. An easy reference is the business opposite which has a bright green sign- Mos Burger' (photo). Also, if searching on Google be sure to enter the full name including the area, as there are two Via Inns in close proximity and you could be easily mis-directed.
