The hotel is located just under 5 min walk from the Sapporo station so it is extremely convenient in terms of moving around for since we made day trips throughout the time we were there. Make sure you get a JR pass as it saves a lot of money, and I would recommend getting the free reserved seats (which can be arranged at any station) for the longer trips. It is also within convenient reach of the New Chitose Airport via the train system (use Rapid service). The rooms are small but very comfortable. Breakfast has a range of basic items like bread and rolls, hard boiled eggs, juices, milk (must try the Hokkaido milk!), and yoghurt. For the price we paid during our stay, the 'total package' was real value for money. There is also quite a bit to see within walking distance like the Odori Park, Clock Tower and even Museum. Quite a number of nice restaurants also within walking distance.

Not so much not liking but just being prepared to manage your daily clothing and packing. There were no cupboards in our room (probably because of the size of the room) but we were able to get around it by using our luggage as 'cupboards'. Just needs a little getting used to. Soe space is available for hanging your jackets and stuff.

Comfortable beds, also the single room has 140 cm beds. The cleaning daily was very thorough and staff was very friendly. Breakfast is for free, however it's just eggs and some simple bread and yogurt and green tea. So nothing to write home about. Location is really great, as you only need to walk one block until you reach the Daimaru shopping center, which is connected to JR Sapporo station. So it's very good to reach everything from there. Although it has two conbinis very close by, just outside of the exit across the street. AC was functioning, water was hot, everything fine, it's a small room after all.

While the facility is basic, it is well looked after. Staff are not only friendly but also very helpful. Every time I approached them with questions and requests, they responded with sincerity. I was deeply impressed. Thank you staff!

First day I found a bedside lamp did not work and the room telephone was not functioning. Those problems were, however, fixed promptly once I have told them. I only wish they had found out those problems before I had to tell them. The breakfast was a little disappointment. I had no problem with such a simple menu (European style breakfast), but the bread did not taste as good as in Europe.

The location was a 3-5 minutes walk to and from Sapporo station. We literally walked into the station without use of stairs or lifts. The breakfast was an assortment of bread/croissants with butter/spreads, eggs, yoghurt, pudding, milk and juices, coffee and tea. There were take away cups for too. The room was small as expected but the beds were comfortable. There is an availability of pillow choice. There was face wash, lotion, comb etc near the lift for guests' needs. There were washing machines and dryers available on a pay basis. The hotel kept our luggage for 2 days as we were going elsewhere. When we returned, our luggage was already in the room.

Medium-sized room with a comfortable and roomy queen-size bed. Long desk by the window, perfect for working or planning. Double-layered windows effectively blocked noise from nearby train tracks. Air purifier in the room helped keep the air fresh. Option to choose preferred pillows from the lobby—a simple but appreciated touch. Breakfast included in the rate, offering a good variety and convenience. Excellent location within walking distance to Daimaru, Stellar Place, and JR Sapporo Station—ideal for exploring the city.

Furniture and decor felt a bit outdated and could use refreshing. Ongoing construction next to the hotel.

The reception staff are very friendly, greeting guests with warm smiles and speaking English very well. The rooms are compact and clean. Although there is some noise from passing trains, but it is not too disruptive. All necessary amenities are provided on the first floor, there are 2 washing machines, which were always available when I needed them. The breakfast is light and pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located near the JR Sapporo train station, making it easy to walk to various tourist attractions. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay.

Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Serving time starting from 6:30 am was convenient for me since I started my day trip early in the morning. Location is excellent. It took me only five minutes to walk to the Sapporo train and bus stations. Staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. Ms. Tokuta helped me secure a reservation at the only Michelin three-star French restaurant in Sapporo, Moliere. Without her assistance, I wouldn't have such a great dining experience. I had stayed a total of nine nights and was very satisfied with the JR Inn. If I visit Sapporo again, JR Inn in Sapporo station will be my first choice.

It is right next to the new Shinkanshan construction and existing railways. If one is really sensative to noise, it could be a problem. Every room does have a sliding door to cover the entire window and reduce negative impacts from train and construction noise.

This was our second stay at this hotel, primarily due to its excellent location near Sapporo Station. Just like our previous visit, we had an enjoyable experience. The bed was as comfortable as we remembered, ensuring a good night’s rest. The hotel also provides breakfast for all guests—while the offerings are fairly standard, the food is delicious and satisfying.

There was ongoing construction in front of the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, it seems the hotel hasn’t undergone any significant updates in the past seven years, as the furniture appears quite outdated.

We like that the hotel has a common area that we can have some food or snack together until late night - Staff: Very friendly and helpful. We sent our luggages to the hotel before we arrived and they already put the luggages in the room when we arrived :) Apart from that, we also have no problem in communication with staff in English. - Price: Reasonable Overall, we love everything here and would stay here again next time :)

Literally 2 mins walk to Sapporo station and Daimaru. The hotel also offers a pillow library at reception, just choose the one(s) you want! A range is free amenities in reception and you can also borrow an umbrella! Plenty of shops and restaurants, daimaru food hall is incredible! The room was big enough for one person, clean, comfortable. I would recommend

It was hard to find and google maps sent me in wrong direction I went right around the block with my suitcase but it was only across the road. Maybe add a note to the post, when you come out of JR station main entrance, the hotel is on the right and behind you.
