I loved the showers, and my Bed#10 at "Ten to Ten"; Almost 10/10 !! My lower bed was next to door and window for fresh air, ...therefore, I had control on "Air/Control", the Best spot in the Hostel. I would come again for the near location to Train Stn. Thx

"Lack of a Physical staff"... There was cleaning starting around 10:30- noon, other than that no body responsible in place. Video connection is far from "Service In Person"; for that reason, I will prefer other places anytime over it. By chance, resto 5days. Thx

This is a really great value for the price! It's sliiightly off the beaten path, but I think this really works in its favor. It's nice and quiet at nice, even with the window open. It's a capsule-style situation, but I can earnestly say it's one of the best of its kind that I've stayed in. The bed itself was a nice, comfortable mattress, and there's a personal shelf, usb/plug, and mini shelf. (Also, there's a small hanging rack inside, with two hangers. VEEERY nice touch for dealing with wet towels, coats, etc.) The walls were thick and sturdy, and I could fully sit upright in the bunk with room to spare. (The curtain was also pretty light-blocking, which is nice.

I really enjoyed it here! So, I'm gonna be nitpicky. The cleaning schedule for the bathrooms seems strange; one of the crews comes by at 9pm? It wasn't a noise issue, so much as a "In Japan, most people bathe at night, why would you clean the bathrooms at the time when most people will be trying to bathe?". The lockers on site are fairly large and nicely convenient...but a bit confusing to figure out, at first. Also, many travelers brought their large suitcases up into the rooms; these cluttered up the locker area and even blocked some of the lockers off. A little troublesome...

The bed is soft and love the pillow so much. Even love the pillow there than my own. Wi-fi fast. Complete amenities. Got the upper bed and kinda ok. Ladder not to stiff and easy come up and down. Near the JR station. PRICE VERY VERY WORTHY.

Staff didn't retrieve the garbage when the shift end on my first night there, so a lot of garbage till morning and they just came again around 4PM to clean up the lobby which is kinda meh.... The staff who clean during c/o time didn't even bother to throw them out. Staff start cleaning the room before the Check-out time, like why early cleaning when they didn't offer early check-in. Didn't know I had the free drinks because no one told anything when checkin using the machine. They really need to put out sign, A BIG SIGN, to don't make much noise after 10PM. Everyday (I stayed around 4nights) like almost everyone being busy after 10PM and it's disturbing my sleep a lot. Seems like they didn't know the quiet time since no warning paste it.

Lovely, clean and modern hostel in a good location in Sapporo. Friendly and helpful staff at all times (not 100% fluent in English but they tried their very best to understand and assist when required). Check in process was a bit strange, you had to use a headset (linked to iPad) to speak to someone to confirm your stay and click certain buttons etc…eventhough staff were on site at check in time and when I checked in and when I witnessed other guests checking in, we still required assistance to check in… Room was clean and bed was extremely comfy and spacious for a hostel bed! Bathrooms were clean and showers worked well. Downstairs area was clean and tidy , there was a microwave and kettle to use although in the morning, there were no staff about so if the kettle was empty you would have to use the drinking water or toilet sink water to re fill the kettle. Ate a curry here one night which was really nice. You need to reserve a table to ensure you can order a pudding/dessert if you want to try one of their famous Japanese treats!

The check in process was confusing and seemed pointless as staff were there when I checked in and when I witnessed other guests checking in and yet we all required assistance on how to use the headset and iPad…would be much better if the staff could check guests in rather than using a headset etc…

Cosy and friendly hostel not too far from the main station. The super lovely staff want everyone to hang out and have a chat, and encourage you to have a free welcome drink when you arrive. Facilities are basic but comfortable. In the morning you can sit downstairs in the cute cafe area for your breakfast (but heads up there's no microwave, just a kettle, and no tea/coffee to be found on the morning I did this).

I went during the busiest time (Sapporo Snow Festival) so, of course, it was wildly overpriced. (Everything in Sapporo is overpriced during the festival, I get it.) This meant that everything was pretty busy - for an 18-person room (the female dorm) there were 2 showers and 3 toilets, and the bathroom was absolute pandemonium in the morning. The locker/storage area was equally wild - lots large suitcases in front of the lockers when you wanted to access something, so you had to roll/shuffle everyone's stuff out of the way to get to your own, which isn't the quietest in the morning... Also, the curtains that hang at the foot of the capsule don't fully cover the gap so you do get woken if someone across from you turns on their light, and people can see in to the capsules.

I went during the week of the Winter Festival. Pros: The free drink from 8pm to 10pm was a lovely chance to meet other travellers and talk with staff. The walk to the hostel from Sapporo station really isn't too far, maybe 10 minutes? There are a handful of restaurants on the way there, highly recommend trying soup curry! The facilities were pretty clean, though it was a little tricky to getting inside with the snow and ice outside. There was also consistent hot water and everything felt safe.

Granted this being a hostel and not a hotel, I found it difficult to sleep. There was some noise coming from somewhere outside the room. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but again, it is a hostel, so not bad!

Sharing the common space is a good practice. By this way, we can enjoy the atmosphere of being not alone. Logistic is good as well. The price for a night is very reasonable.

The peak hours of sharing the bathroom and face washing place. Besides that, common space is limited to no. of persons. When the food shop has more customers, people who stay in the hotel have to be left the common space.

*The staff are very friendly. I mean Alex & older sister who helped me check in. *I like the pillow, mattress & blanket. For the first time I was happy with a bunk bed. *clean bathroom & fragrant shampoo+conditioner. In my opinion this is not a hostel but a hotel. *free drinks every 8pm is a plus point for this hostel.

*Even though it is close to Sapporo Station, I think it is quite far to walk. You will need 12 minutes to get to the station. And walking in the snow is very tiring.*I was in a women's dormitory, and I was very surprised when a male staff member entered without knocking. I mean even if you are a staff member, you should tell us you are coming in.

The Sapporo station was within walking distance. The north exit was the nearest. The business area was about 1-2 km away. Not very close, but acceptable for me. The shared bathroom and rest room were clean. The bed was comfortable. Also, hairdryers, shampoos, body soap and toothbrush & paste were provided, which was nice.

Not elevators, so if you have heavy and large luggages, you should think twice.
