I enjoyed my stay at Hyper-inn Takamatsu Ekimae. The location is great, the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Breakfast was excellent. You can also ask the staff for the bike rental service, but I didn't have a chance to do that since my route during the day demanded train and ferry rides. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay in Takamatsu.

I would say smoking rooms are a bit less comfortable than the non-smoking ones (I tried both), but that is what you have to be just prepared for. No big deal - and it is convenient for those who smoke, of course.

Rooms are very comfortable though ours was small, and the bathroom espamecially is small. But everything works very well a'd the bed was very comfy. The staff members were all very kind and welcoming and helpful. Very patient to help us use the available laudry machines, which also worked well. Great breakfast buffet with some elements changing a littoe everyday so there was always something new to try. Great stay, thank you

The hotel is conveniently located near the Takamastu JR train station. The area has quite a few eatery options such as “Meriken-y”a udon noodle house. The décor in the room feels a bit dated but it is spacious and clean. The breakfast offers both Japanese and Western items. The breakfast items change slightly every day, and I thought it was quite good. The staff in this hotel is very helpful and friendly.

The dryer took quite a long time for clothes to get dry.

Business hotel strategically situated close to the station and the commercial arcades. Functional rooms, a bit small as usual in Japan, and bathrooms. Very quiet and clean. Kind english-speaking staff.

Minimal facilities for hot drinks in the room (actually, only a water heater and tea bags were provided).

Location is the best in town. Hotel is close to train staion, and you can see the hotel sign in front of the station. It is also close to Takamatsu castle park as well. Also several good restaurants are near by. main shopping and business places are about 10-15min walk and easy to navigate. Breakfast was simple, but it had everything I need.

Hotel was a bit old. Hope it will upgrade somehow.

I dont like giving bad ratings due to the weight each review carries. However the hotel assistant was trying to talk me out of leaving my bag at the hotel after i checked out. Now days i find this to be common practice for the hotel to accept your bags on check out (paid or not paid). I didnt like that he tried to talk me out of it and that i felt liek a burden and thus took my bags instead.

The staff are very good. I arrived early and the front desk kept my bags so that I could go out freely. The location is excellent as it is near the bus and train terminals.

The door is a physical key and needs to lock manually. The door can be opened if you forget to lock.

My twin room is bigger than I expected but the toilet is relatively small -- cannot move and the bathtub is quite high. The location is superb --super close to Takamatsu JR station. Breakfast is a must -- pay 800 yen extra and you will get a super value meal of the day -- buffet or set menu (up to number of guests). I really recommend you try their breakfast. Staff do not understand English quite well but you can use many programs to translate to Japanese and get what you want. A complimentary welcome drink kiosk is also available near the lobby. I would love to stay there again if I visit Takamatsu. Book well in advance since rooms are limited.

Large room with two chairs and a small table. This was a twin bed room close to the station. Quite a good breakfast, a mixture of Japanese and western, worth 800 yen. Very helpful and friendly staff but you may need google translate ! Free washing machine a real plus.

Check in is quite late at 4pm but they did keep our luggage until check in time and again on leaving.
