The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-8 minute walk from the JR train station, bus center, and tourist center, making it very accessible. The rooms are spacious, with two regular beds and two tatami floor beds, making it suitable for a family stay. The onsen on the hotel's top floor is fantastic, allowing guests to enjoy the pleasure of soaking in the hot springs on a snowy night. Although the hotel is quite large and accommodates many group guests, they are distributed across different restaurants, so breakfast is comfortable and not crowded. The Japanese-style breakfast is quite delicious. All the staff members are very warm and friendly. I would like to extend special thanks for their help when I left a earphone in the room. The front desk staff actively assisted by arranging for it to be delivered to my next hotel(in another city), ensuring they arrived on time. Special thanks to Ms. Liang at the front desk for her exceptional service.

The room was very pleasant and a good size. The bed was also a good size and quite comfortable. The onsen on the top floor was excellent with both indoor and outdoor hot baths. The location of the hotel was an easy walk from the main railway station in Takayama.

We had a Western style room, and the decor appeared to be a little dated.

Exceptional experience, we highly recommend to take both the rooms with private onsen as well as the dinners included, as it is a great culinary experience! Building is old but very well maintained. Service was great and people going the extra mile to help. We were delighted with our stay.

The fact that there was hot springs in the hotel! The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, felt like a scene in a movie. There was a cute gift shop with a pond where there were koi fishes just swimming around! The hot spring was super clean and the beauty salon section where you can dry your hair provided such good facilities after you have a dip in the hot spring. The rooms were super spacious and the view was absolutely gorgeous! Staff was super friendly and helpful as well! It was only a few minutes walk away from the train station. Very easy walk, even when we had a lot of luggage with us and it was snowing. Highly recommend it if you're going to Takayama.

This is an excellent hotel. Of an older style, it was spotlessly clean with magnificent two-storey public baths to enjoy. The staff was outstandingly helpful. I would throughly recommend this establishment.

If I have one gripe, the smoking rooms emitted smell at times, including into the restaurants.

Room was gigantic considering Japan’s standards. It was a great location walking distance to train station.

No AC on the first day, we went for the spring festival and it was 90 degrees in our room, since they still had the heater set up for winter season. Thankfully on the second day they changed the settings.

We are happy to have Miss Leung, the Malaysian staff in the front desk who speak fluent Cantonese, to provide us very helpful information and useful advice for our trip. There are also other staff who can speak fluent English. Therefore we don't have any problem in communication.

The room was much larger than normal for Japan. The Onsen was excellent. The staff were very helpful in explaining how it worked. The breakfast was superb with lots of local produce and plenty of choices

The onsen on the top and bottom floors were amazing and we spent all night switching between the two. The room was wonderful and the location was close to the station. Would stay here again if in the area.

This was the only time in a hotel (as opposed to a ryokan where this is normal) where a staff member guided us to our room and then stepped into the room with us to have us fill out a COVID survey. We could have gotten to our room on our own and filled out the COVID survey at the front desk, so it was just awkward and felt a bit invasive to have that happen.
