Good value. The bathroom was clean! I enjoyed the tub a lot. Amenities such as toothbrush, shampoo, and towels provided. The beds and towels were clean and smelled nice. Beer available downstairs.

I understand the building is old, but there is visible dirt in the aircon, and yellow residue on the walls that can be cleaned. The walls are brown from where people put their feet. The sinks have black around the faucets. The shared guest shoes are stained yellow from sweat. Even the bathroom ceiling has black spots on it. I enjoyed my stay, but a little attention to detail would really make this place outstanding! I have a hard time recommending it because it was so dirty everywhere except the bed, tatami, and bathtub...

Handy location for us when taking the ferry to Wakayama the next morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable though basic had everything we needed. There is only one shower room, which may be more difficult when the inn is very busy, but it is available 24 hours, and wasn’t a problem for us.

I stayed during Awa adori festival. The owner doesn't speak English but he was really nice and helpful anyway. It's located about 3 km from the JR station but the bus stop is right in front of the street. I had a good stay!

Beautiful Ryokan with nice view. Hotel owner was very kind and he drop us to Tokushima train station when we was late for very special meeting.

The man at the entrance moved his car just so we can park more easily, he organized our beds and everything was clean.

The pillows were not so comfortable but overall great beds

- Host was friendly and helped us with our luggage - Price was very affordable and parking was included - AC worked well and kept the room cool during summer - Futon and pillow were relatively comfortable - Shared toilet and sink were just down the hall which was convenient - Room was a bit tight but makes sense for the price. Came with fridge

- Shower area was quite old and seemed stained, hard to tell if those are permanent or it needs cleaning - There was a hair in my futon when we arrived and no sheets to put on top, so couldn't tell how clean it was/what gets cleaned between guests - Outside of the rooms doesn't have any temperature control - The only outlet was already full, so we had to unplug some things and luckily had an extension cord

All we wanted was a place to sleep. Our expectations were met. The gentleman who checked us was n was very kind. The other guests we encountered were kind as well.

We were in a non-smoking room with posted “no smoking” signs in the room. Unfortunately, the “smoking area” was in the hallway right outside of our room. It was so bad at one point we almost left in the late hours of the night. My clothes and hair were permeated with the smell of cigarette smoke.
