So I always preface my reviews with the fact that I travel around the world to stay in hostels, So HI! I'm Haze's Hostels on YouTube. Because of that my reviews are in depth, I really loved how welcoming and REAL this hostel is. It's ran by a japanese couple and it's a home plus bar. The bar is very cute and adorable.. and the couple they are just the SWEETEST. The hostel side of things is one of the cheaper options in Tokyo and because of that it does seem to always have a lot of travelers so if you are looking for a place that has a lively environment where you can talk to others this is a good one. Really, if you want a vibe like you're staying at a family friends house - that's what this is like. The spaces are small and well lived in. It's not like a franchise hipster hostel.. it's someones home. So if you are okay with that you'll love this place. The roof top was BEAUTIFUL!

Because I understood what I was booking, more of a family home environment.. everything was fine. I think if you are someone looking for a hotel experience you may not like this place as much.

The owner was very kind and spoke enough English for a comfortable check in and check out. There were also fairly large shelves in the bedroom for everyone to put their luggage and manage their items.

The bed mattresses were very thin you could feel the frame of the bunk beds through them but if you don't mind it you can get a good night's sleep.

Very cozy and tidy. The living room was also very nice and tidy and comfortable. There is also a rooftop where you can see the tokyo skytree which is very nice at night.

A bit hard to get a suitcase up the narrow stairs. Recommended to bring a smaller bag.

It's a very cozy place and the staff was friendly. They also had a restaurant downstairs where they served great food!

The bed was not that comfortable but for that price I really can't complain. Also if you're tired from walking all day, you'll crash right away!

- the view from rooftop can see Tokyo tower - the staffs are very nice - you can use common area; kitchen to cook, living room to watch TV and to eat - to talk with owners there. - Staffs are really really nice and helpful - The price is reasonable

- Only 1 shower room and 1 toilet so we have to be in the queue to use it. - the toilet is not clean since gentleman and lady have to use the same one.

The Staff is very nice and the price is unbeatable. The locations is very good for people who don't mind walking a little to the different train stations surrounding the facility (a bus stop is right next to it aswell). It is very central and the touristic districts are all very easy to reach. The "Isakaya" (Bar/restaurant) under the Guest House are owned by the same Host. There is a lunch service between 11:45 and 14:00 o'clock. The prices there are exceptional good aswell as the food that is served there with an very welcoming atmosphere. The Terrace on the roof of the Guest house gives you a clear view of Tokyo Skytree by day and night and can be accessed 24/7 by guests of the Guesthouse. I love this place and will surely return on my next trip.

A comfortable, homely guest house with a great roof area for hanging out and taking pictures of the Tokyo Sky Tree. The owner and staff are present on the property and generally available to help with questions you might have. The property is furnished like a home, so can do your own cooking, and there is at least one convenience store located nearby for ingredients. The second floor lobby is comfortable for hanging out outside of your bunk, though in Summer the rooftop lounge area is also quite comfortable.

There is a general policy of light-out after midnight, for all lounge areas. Not that guests have to sleep, but the expectation is that they will go to their bunk and hang out there for the rest of the night. Something to be aware of if you're a late night person.

Very affordable, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Basic beds, no towels, shower space not in great conditions. Also 15-20 min from closest metro/train station.

Really nice owners. Comfy bed and a really nice rooftop with good views. Out of the way of main tourist areas but close to public transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was exceptional! they were so friendly and went out of their way to help me a lot. super welcoming atmosphere. Communication was hard occasionally but they really tried and even translated some things into German for me. The facilities were great too, everything had AC and worked and was clean. There is a corner shop close by that provides you with anything you would need and the hostel is easily reached by bus. Extremely good value for money, would definitely stay there again.

Got nothing to complain!
