- Modern rooms with TV that shows you the live laundry timers and can connect to your phone via Youtube - Within walking distance of two different lines/train stations with easy train access to Ginza and Tokyo station - 10mins walking distance to Tsujiki market or Ginza - We were a couple staying in a comfort twin room which had good size floor and seating space towards the back end of the floor. Handy when we had so much shopping to pack away. - 24h manned staff desk so we checked in around 5.30am no problem, or if we had issues can easily head down to find someone to help with good level of speaking English. Also we were always greeted when we walked past the desk everyday which is a nice gesture. - Our room had a separate wet room with a bath tub and shower, separate toilet room and open plan WC that was connected to the rom. Plenty of space in the wet room with rain shower. - Daily housekeeping was efficient but usually set times (must set up before 10am) to get the full housekeeping service. Daily change of towels and in-room kimono dresser which was a nice touch. - The hotel is just off the main road in a quieter road with easy loading spots at the front and back of the hotel. I saw parking is also available if needed. For our airport transfers and day trips, our driver with a 7 seater large car had no problem parking outside each time to wait for us as we loaded the luggage. Hotel was easy around 30-40mins drive from Haneda airport. - Amenities were available next to the front desk rather than in room, which you can easily grab on your way in/out. Very eco-friendly.

- Busiest times for using the laundry facilities is after 8pm until 2am. The standard wash and dry option is 2h which is quite a long time + 20mins collection time before the staff remove the laundry so others can use it. Personally I feel this collection time should be reduced to 10mins. - Heating/cooling in the room is a bit off, too cold when cooling at high 25 temp and too hot when heating at low 19C temp. There is no middle ground. - Tiny details and maybe specific to our room, but it would be handy to have coat and bath towel hangers nearby the front door/bathroom door. - Limited wardrobe space in the comfort twin room. Just a slim full length wardrobe which fit about 4 large coats, and no other storage really.

Expensive Semi small room

The location is great, very close to metro stations on a very well connected lines. The neighbourhood itself, Ginza, is gorgeous and you can find all you need in this area. The hotel looks just like in photos.

We were expecting the room to be small, which was fine, but there could be a bit more storage space. We took the breakfast one morning and it was disappointing - not very tasty, not a lot of options either.

I recently returned from a lovely trip to Tokyo with my husband, and we had a great experience staying at Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and professional. Check-in was quick and smooth. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very cozy. We especially liked the comfortable bed and the beautiful city view from the window. Housekeeping was done daily — everything was always neat, fresh, and pleasant to come back to. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: fast Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, a safe, a mini fridge, a TV, and a tablet to control the lighting and air conditioning. Every detail was well thought out. The location of the hotel is excellent! Tsukiji Station on the Hibiya Line is just a couple of minutes away, which made it very convenient to get around the city. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby, as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants — everything you need is close by. Breakfast at the hotel was tasty every morning, with a great selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. I highly recommend Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande to anyone planning a trip to Tokyo. This hotel made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great! We stayed in a corner room, which had a lovely view and large windows that let in perfect natural light throughout the day. The twin beds were very spacious and comfortable. The location is absolutely ideal, just steps from the fish market, Ginza, and a metro station (only 2 minutes walk). There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby (7 eleven). The staff was incredibly helpful, they handled our luggage delivery from Kyoto to Tokyo smoothly. The room was spacious (rare in Japan), very clean, and at the reception there’s a shelf where you can pick up daily essentials like tea, cotton swabs, shampoo, etc. There’s also a laundry room with an app to track your laundry and a gym available.

Everything met or exceeded our expectations

Pleasant hotel in a good quiet neighbourhood. Located at the 12th floor we enjoyed a great view over de Tokyo skyline. That made this experience really the best! We traveled with a part of three. It’s a great plus the 3bed is actual an bed (instead of a couch, which you often find). Staying here for 6 nights made this convenient for our daughter as well. Happy there is also a fully automated washing machine, that can be paid via mobile app and the lead time you can also track via an hotel link. We appreciated the hotel was able to service us with an umbrella when it rained one day. A good cup of coffee you can find just around the corner with ‘Live Coffee’.

As in most of my Japan hotels, beds were quite hard. An additional topper and pillow service would be great. The check-in machine used at check-in not the best experience (although the staff was very helpful to make it work)

Quiet location. Close to metro station. New facilities. A lot of free amenities. Walking distance to Ginza.

Room was smaller than expected, though bed was big enough and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit boring.

It was a large room for Tokyo with a beautiful view and a great location on the outskirts of Ginza and super comfortable for one person's one week stay. It might be harder for two people due to bed positioning and very limited storage/closet space. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and ample hot water were provided but no body lotion. Various other amenities such as q-tips, face wash and tea were available at reception. Due to my sleep disorder, I had asked for a quiet room, on a high floor at the end of a corridor and that's exactly what they provided !! That doesn't always happen. The staff couldn't have tried harder to make my trip enjoyable. I was a bit sad to leave. Terrific choice for a single traveler.

More detail could have been paid to the cleanliness of the bathroom. There were splatters on the floor and the wall behind the sink and toilet during my entire stay. Storage could have been better utilized.

We had 2 stays. 2 nights prior to a cruise and 4 nights after the cruise. Initially we were upset at the size of our room and also that we were not in “ Ginza” as the hotel name indicated. We then moved to a 2 bed room with more space. On our return visit, we had the lager room and appreciated the smart and relatively quiet neighbourhood and the many small restaurants nearby. We also conquered the subway system and the proximity to the Tjukski station was a huge bonus. We would certainly stay again.

Let’s face it , we were in Japan so why should the desk staff be excellent in English. However, so many of the guests were from the “West” )and can handle English. We all got through it. I was upset when I had to pay for a late check out. Come on guys, customer relations!

*Rooms size: 3/5. 4 nights - Very compact, especially double rooms. Limited luggage space and bed access. I guess that’s par for the course in Tokyo. One night - Triple room had separate toilet/shower but washbasin in the room itself. * Breakfast: 1/5. Limited vegetarian options, primarily meat-focused.
