Everything in the room was fit for purpose and well thought out. Liked the emphasis on functionality with a touch of luxury where it counted: Super comfortable and quality bed with luxury high thread count bedsheets; good size Japanese bathroom with quality bath products; and a large air purifier. Plenty of space for a Japanese hotel room - suitcase could be neatly tucked under the large sofa. Great location.

The towels were adequate but could have been a little bit more plush. No lobby to speak of. Just a desk. Then again, no-one needs to pay for additional amenities that they never use.

The rooms were big compared to others hotels in Tokyo.

The hotel was quite far from the city center of Shinjuku.

we liked that the room was big and the bathroom was well equipped.

the bed is very uncomfortable and old. the room smells very strongly of bleach and cleaning products when we arrived. the couches smelled pretty musty.

I really loved how spacious the room is. All for of us fit in the room with more room. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. The bathroom is really spacious and huge! I loved how they have all the amenities needed. We had a good sleep and lovely stay!

I think what I least liked about the property is the location. Although it is near a convenience store, cafes and the street, it is actually quite a walk to the station. And when you get to the station, you have to ride and transfer a few trains to get to Shibuya, Shinjuku and basically in the center of Tokyo. But overall, it's not as bad as you think. We had a lovely stay and definitely will come back :)

Large room in a small hotel in a great location on the ground floor. Very clean, well maintained room and well appointed bathroom.

Our room was located near the cleaning / amenities area, not that appealing on entry but a neat area. The room did not have a chair or table so in the room you could only sit on the bed. The room was dark.

Clean and comfortable beds. Large shower with separate toilet great for sharing with adult kids or group. Good quality toiletries. Everything was new and fresh. Appreciated size of room for Tokyo- huge plus. Many restaurants close by. 2 rail stations close by. Area safe residential zone.

Not on main direct rail line to central Tokyo. Need to change at least once became a bit tedious.

The room was bright and clean. It's far bigger than most rooms you'll find in the city and was fantastic for our family. The hammock was a nice extra which was heavily used by the kids. The bathroom was super clean and very spacious, it was lovely to have a large private bathing area in the room which still allowed for other members of the family to get ready just next door at the sink/vanity area. The toilet was great, not too overwhelming with the controls and extremely clean. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. You have shops (7/11, Family Mart) as well as full laundry within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. Restaurants are also close, between a 5-to-15-minute walk away. The subway system is nearby for getting into the city and seeing the sights.

Nothing. We were happy with every aspect of the stay.

The room was perfect for my family of 3 kids. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet, I didn’t hear any other guests for our whole stay and the toilet and shower were separate which is really useful. Lots of room and the area is fantastic. Not touristy at all and with lots of convenience stores and cafes/restaurants close by for dinner. I highly recommend.

The bed was very comfortable. There was an extra futon in the room which I used for added warmth. The shower was excellent, the water flow was strong and the temperature was regulated to your choice. The toilet seat was warm. The towels were soft and comfortable.

The towel rack could be readjusted, it was too close to the wall in the bedroom and it hard to hang up towels after use. The safe was difficult to use, the staff had to read the instructions to operate the safe, and more importantly, the safe itself was not bolted down to anything and can easily be carried away by someone who wanted to steal it. We never used the safe for this reason. Due to the room size, there were no drawers to store clothes. There was a pole to use for hanging up clothes in the room but my husband kept his close in the suitcase the duration of our stay. I ended up using the couch as my storage area. We used the pole to hang up our outer wear clothing and jackets.

Great location and good room

Unlike all other hotels in Japan, they didn't help with luggage forwarding to the next hotel, which can be difficult to do on your own if you don't speak Japanese. Staff not really as warm as we experienced in other hotels.
