We loved the tatami room and it was a good size for a family of 4 with suitcases. The location was amazing with so many restaurants and shops nearby.

The bathroom was dirty in the morning after so many people used it. The bathroom was rather old and shower curtains a bit mouldy.

Great option to go to for a group! The room we had was bunks and still had space for a couch area and cabinets for storing our stuff (though they’re a bit small). Pluses are that it’s close to Tokyo Dome and the metro is connected to the building. Overall the building was well managed and you can easily see communicate with staff.

Only drawbacks might be that they only have public baths available (as of now due to construction of the men’s bathroom) so if you don’t really feel comfortable with public baths this might be something to be weary of. The curfew may also be a drawback if you plan to stay out late, till the last trains or out all night but if your itinerary doesn’t include that everything else is great!

Great location - in the bustling area of Iidabashi and within walking distance of the imperial palace and Yasakuni Shrine. The views from the 18th floor are also great. Facilities were plentiful, clean and modern. Overall the place was very spacious and a great place to start a Tokyo visit.

The 11pm-6am curfew was a little restrictive and has to be considered if staying primarily for nightlife. I also found it wasn't an overly social hostel in terms of meeting other solo travellers but that may just have been the nights I was there.

I went to Japan for the first time. The hotel location was absolutely strategic. It was located near the station, so I didn’t have to worry about getting around. One of the special things was that they had a public bath (onsen). After walking all day and feeling tired, it was the best way to relax and enjoy the onsen. I will definitely go back to this hostel if I have the opportunity to revisit Japan in the near future!

This was my favorite hostel on my recent Japan trip. Helpful stuff, convenient location, clean and comfortable room, good facilities, nice public bath, fresh buffet breakfast, amazing view on the 18th floor. I feel more secure because they have curfew from 11:00pm ~ 6:00 am, and no one comes back in the midnight to disturb your sleep.

During my stay, the guest was cooking rice and I had to wait more than 30 minutes because there was only one electric cooker

Great location, good value for money, lots of restaurants around and several metro stations within the vicinity.

The place is in a need of some renovation but the views are superb!

Wow, what a treasure to find ! This hostel is in the most convenient location, right above the train station. No noise at all, it is high on the 18th floor with amazing views. Also provided is a private onsen! Wonderful to take a dip in after your shower at the end of the day. Unbelievable value for money. I will stay again in the future and bring my children. It was a nice surprise to make some new friends here as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Tokyo.

I was very happy with everything as it was provided. The property delivers far more value than expected.

The property is centrally located right at the metro station so easy access to everything. Our room also had a great view of the city as this hostel is on the 18th floor. There are also food and grocery options in the first floor. We had 4 bunk beds and a sofa. They have shared toilets and bathrooms but all seem private enough so not an issue. The staff is very nice and everything is very clean. There is also lots of food and restaurant option just down the road.

Not a big deal but towels had to be rented even though it was quite inexpensive.

I stayed at this hostel with my 16 year old daughter. We absolutely loved it. We had a room to ourselves. It was clean. The bathrooms and onsen bath were excellent and clean also. We loved the location and the amenities in the building on the first 2 floors. There was a few restaurants to eat at and a small grocery store that had a liquor section. Location was central to many city attractions. I would absolutely recommend this Central Youth Hostel.

Nothing really could be improved. It was all great.

Literally next to the station (it’s inside the building on 18/F, I had to ask for direction - almost missed the check in time phew)

Both the bed and pillow are hard, not for those who’re used to soft beddings. Only shared public female bath/shower was available, and the facilities (eg hand wash, warm tape water, ear cotton buds, hand towel etc) were insufficient compared to other hostels.
