Great location for exploring the glitzy Ginza district. This is a larger hotel and at times can be a bit busy. At peak times we had to wait a few minutes to enter the breakfast buffet. The buffet itself was excellent including a lovely duck pancake. A filling breakfast that kept us going most of the day. The 16th floor reception is also the lounge. It too can be a little busy at time. Our room was, no other way to put it, small. We managed but found ourselves tumbling over each other at times. If I were to stay again I would look for a larger room. Surprisingly the bathroom tile had some mould. Not much but not what I expected from a higher end hotel. Staff were very helpful and the reception staff have good basic English language skills. I should mention that nearby (easy walking distance) there is a lovely park (you can see it from the 16th floor reception) which is ideal when you want a short break from the glitz and glamour of the Ginza. There is tea house there which serves matcha and a pastry. We arrived on the Shinkansen at Tokyo station and took a taxi from there to the hotel. I would recommend this if you have a luggage. Similarly we took a cab to Haneda which cost $75 (Canadian) rather than the Limousine bus (which stops around the corner from the hotel) or a cab to one of the subway stations. Fixed price cabs are available (but booking them proved to be an issue). They charge around $90 - $100. If you are not in a heavy traffic period you will probably save money taking a regular cab. The newer Toyota cabs, modelled on the London UK taxis are very comfortable. And most drivers we encountered could speak a little English.
As noted above there was mould on the tile of our bathroom.

Firstly, I travel to Japan for work at least a half dozen times a year. However, this was the third trip my wife and I have taken together and the second Mitsui hotel we have stayed in and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The hotel starts on the 16th floor. There is a very nice private lobby on the ground floor and two lifts that take you to the 16th floor where you’ll find reception and the restaurant. The rooms start on the 17th floor. As the building is rectangular, every room, regardless of which side of the hotel you are on, faces the city of Tokyo so the views are spectacular. Also, in reception, there’s a huge picture window with sofas looking out and the view, particularly at sunset, is awe inspiring. The rooms are incredibly well designed and laid out and have every facility you could wish for. Like everything and everywhere in Japan, the rooms (and the hotel) are spotlessly clean. If you haven’t stayed in a hotel room in Japan (and particularly Tokyo) hotel rooms are small. I heard one British guest complaining at reception about this but it’s the way it is in Japan so do your research prior to booking. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of choice of both Western, Asian & Japanese food. My wife and I are both vegetarian so we had less choice but still enough so we could enjoy a great breakfast each day. The staff are exceptionally helpful (like everyone I’ve met in Japan) and always go the extra mile. The location is perfect. 8 to 10 mins walk to central Ginza (the Wako/Seiko department store, Mitsokosha, etc). The walk there is exceptionally nice as the streets are full of restaurants and shops. Finally, and separately from the hotel, from all Terminals at Narita and Haneda Airports, you can catch the Airport Limousine bus (you’ll see them everywhere at the airports and in Tokyo) directly to the hotel. It literally stops right outside the lobby. We took the bus from T1 in Narita and bought the tickets at the counter in the arrivals hall.
Nothing. Mitsui hotels are always exceptional.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Beautiful lobby with the Christmas tree and can view Tokyo tower. They allowed us to leave our luggage one day earlier before our check in. Excellent location.
Misleading of the environmental friendly tag. It indicates if we don’t need to make up our room, it will just changes the towels and clears the trash. However when we came back, the towels and pyjamas were hung at the door and trash wasn’t cleared. Housekeeper didn’t come into the room at all. The room became quite narrow after we added an extra bed but is Ginza area so can’t complain.

The hotel's location is perfect – it is in the heart of the city, with easy access to the Airport Limousine Buses. Their room is not just always super clean and quiet but also equipped with all the necessary amenities for a trouble-free stay (e.g., comfortable bed for someone with spinal issues, adapter, cable, etc.). Above all, the staff's kindness is amazing. They are always willing to go the extra mile to assist you with all your concerns, from promptly answering all your queries during the booking stage to ensuring a smooth and hassle-free checkout process.

The location was really good. Close to prime shopping in Ginza. The train station was close by and Don Quijote was right across the street as well as several convenience stores. The facilities and the room were very clean. Staff was professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent too.

It's in the heart of Ginza so if you like to shop (luxury goods and Donki next door), you won't have a problem walking a minute to the many shops in the area. The hotel has a nice city view.
It's a long 10 minute walk from any subway station because you're waiting for cars to pass. It is definitely not in a quiet location due to large traffic next to hotel. There is a sky bridge to avoid the cars. The value of the hotel is not the best. You will pay a lot for a small room. If I were to book again, it would be in a deluxe room or larger. We had two small carry on luggage and it was a problem to open them without blocking the small walkway in the room.

I really liked how helpful and efficient the staff were. The elevators were quick. The rooms were clean thoroughly. There were times where I stepped out for 3-4 hours and it come back and it’s cleaned! I really do think the staff that work here really make the place so much better.
The wifi was VERY slow. I’ve stayed here in Feb 2024 and I do not remember it being so slow. The rooms are also quite small. I am only one person and I couldn’t open my luggages at the same time. It’s very minor but I think the wifi really made the trip a little difficult.

We booked this hotel for our first day in Tokyo and it was perfect. The hotel is right at one of the stops for the limousine bus from Narita airport which makes it so convenient with all the luggage and it is also very close to the main Ginza shopping street. There are several convenience stores just right outside.. The staff is attentive and professional, and speaks good English. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and of good size given it's in the middle of Tokyo. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep after our flight. Facilities are modern and thoughtful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is located in Ginza very close to the main street, close to all the shops and restaurants.. Hotel lobby is on the 16th floor, great view and helpful staff at the reception. Rooms are on 17-25 floors. The room I booked was small, however it wad ok for one person. For two it is probably too small as there's not much space for luggage. Nice and soft pajamas to use, also the shower was big and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious offering a variety of different selections.
I could have been happier if the room was a bit bigger, but for one person it was ok.

We stayed for a few nights in a Moderate Queen Room. - The room is quite small, but it was enough for us. We were traveling with two medium-sized suitcases. - The view of the city from the bed is fantastic. The hotel itself offers stunning views from the lobby and restaurant. The lobby also has a nice area to work. - We really enjoyed the breakfast. Some dishes were unique, and we didn’t come across them anywhere else in Japan. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t great, but there’s an excellent café right next to the hotel with delicious coffee. - One evening, we ordered a massage in our room as we were exhausted after a long day. We booked two massages, one after the other. The masseuse did a great job, even though it was quite late—she finished after 10 p.m. A big thanks to her! - The hotel is conveniently located near several metro station exits, making it easy to get around.
