The key selling point is the bath, which has space for 3 and then 2 shower areas if you would rather not wash onsen style. It was clean and taking a bath after walking around all day is so much better than a shower.

The mattress is an inch thick with a very hard bottom in the pods, so as a side sleeper, it was really uncomfortable. Pods are hot and the fans inside suck more than blow anything cool in. You need the fan on just so your pod can be not stale. Also, it's literally somehow an uphill both ways to get to this place. Feels like the station is 20 minutes away (more like 12) but with luggage in the hot sun, it was not fun. Don't recommend for long stays.

Very clean! The hotel is an 11 minute walk from the shibuya crossing, has a lot of convenience stores and restaurants just outside. it's located in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood, just a short walk away from the rest of tokyo! The public bath was great, very zen and nice. the Bed capsules are very spacious and modern. The tatami lounge and powder room were also great, and the whole stay comes with a lot of amenities.

Took 5 days before I discovered that one of the two "pillows" you receive was actually a duvet, so I slept very cold for a few nights 😅 Had some troubles with the self check in, which was not fun after 3 days of traveling and arrival at 2am... the staff was very helpful though, and came to my rescue :) I have some minor concerns about the bath regarding ventilation and mold growth in the room/ ceiling, but otherwise it was great and very clean. The onsen water didn't seem entirely clean though. The beds might be a bit hard for western standards, but it didn't bother me.

amazing amenities like 24/7 large clean hot bath, a powder room stocked with skincare, hair curlers/straighteners, yukata for pajamas. baths are nude but usually pretty empty. luggage storage is in room and plenty of space. warm blankets. very clean and cute traditional style decorations. amazing quality for the price, i think it was $40 USD/night for me.

dependent on the other guests so it can can be loud at night or in the morning if they’re talking. stairwell is dirty and difficult for heavy luggage. uphill walk from shibuya station, close to shinsen station but it’s not a very versatile location. thin mattress made me wake up in pain often. persistent buzzing (maybe from aircon or water heaters?) on the 4th floor so i had to wear headphones to sleep.

I wanted to try staying in a capsule hotel for the experience, and it was better than I expected. Firstly, the location. The hotel is located two bus stops away from Shibuya station. I can't remember the exact bus number to take but you should be able to find it easily through google maps. Reception is located on the first floor. I checked in slightly before 10pm hence there was a receptionist there attending to me. The second floor houses the onsen bath, shower facilities, dressing room with mirrors, sinks and hair dryers for you to wash up, and a separate lounge for you to eat and drink in. The capsules are located on the third floor onwards, around 6 or 8 (can't remember the exact number) capsules per room. There is a toilet attached to the room so you do not have to go all the way down to the second floor to use it. You get your own locker to store your valuables and there is plenty of space to lay out your luggage. The capsule itself was spacious. I could sit up in it. There was a socket for you to charge your devices, built-in alarm clock (which I did not use so do not know if it works), a pillow and a blanket.

It's a shared room so be prepared to be woken up by others entering and leaving their capsules, packing their bags etc. Mattress was thin but I am used to sleeping on harder surfaces hence it was not an issue. There is no elevator so if you are going to stay here, pack light and be prepared to haul your luggage up at least two floors. There is a private toilet attached to the room but no private shower facilities, but as I showered at night, there was no one in the bathroom any way. All these were already highlighted in the reviews hence I was mentally prepared. If you are a light sleeper, bring noise cancellation headphones and/or ear plugs, though ear plugs are also provided for free in the room itself. Overall, everything matched the descriptions and reviews hence I am quite satisfied.

The hostel itself was maintained to the best of their ability. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were also exceptional. The showers and powder room were really nice and well maintained.

What could have been better, are the 5 guests from Melbourne who thought that the entire hostel belonged to them. Their disrecept to their surroundings was uncalled for. They left their luggages blocking exit paths, their garabage scattered in all the rooms they used. They would come back between 2 - 4 am, waking everyone up. They wore their shoes everywhere in the hostel, they left their shoes blocking the doorways. I'm sure if they weren't there, it would have been much easier for staff to maintain the place.

I really liked the facilities and that it's for women only, as a solo traveler that made me feel safer in the accommodation. I love the onsen, most of all, although it came as a culture shock, but it was one of my best experiences while in Japan. The beds are clean, there's bath and face towel provided everyday, toiletries are provided, there's even yukata if you like, and there's toilet and sink in the room so you don't have to go out anymore for that. The place is quiet as well, really makes you feel rested after a whole day of touring. There's coin laundry beside the hotel so very convenient if you're one to bring a capsule closet to mix and match fits while on travel and wants it quickly laundered. Overall a nice stay!

No elevator, so the struggle of having to pull up your luggage in flights of stairs can be a game changer. The spaces for luggages in each room is small. 10-15 mins walk from Shibuya Station, can be exhausting esp after a day's events. There's another station nearer but doesn't really get recommended often by Google Maps to go to most places in Tokyo.

Friendly staff!!! You can call if you need help Lovely onsen & powder room Cozy 24/7 lounge.. really enjoyed this area to have midnight snacks cute pajamas & ear plugs but it’s already very quiet. Inbetween a 711 and Lawson, 2 doors down Lawson, down the street 711

the bed was not comfortable, a flat pad. but all the lovely cozy features and great price makes this place a great visit especially if you want an all girls safe space and onsen in ur hotel, just prepare for the thin mattress pad if you’re new to capsule hotels. I’m a frequent capsule hotel hopper and have been to cheaper ones with softer pads. HOWEVER this place absolutely excelled with everything else…would love to check back in one day and see in description say they upgraded the beds cuz and I’d be back again and again! :)

I liked the maintenance of the rooms, building, environment, and beds. The level of cleanliness is very high, and they offer a cosy and relaxing space, an onsen, traditional Japanese showers, and even a make-up room. This location is also conveniently close to Shibuya and other major attractions. They have storage lockers, and you can keep your luggage near your bed. The bathroom and all shared spaces were immaculate and well maintained.

I don't have anything negative to say about this place.

Japanese hospitality- staff was very friendly and responsive. The property is well-maintained, clean and simple. I love the amenities provided for all guests (kimono and mini skin care). The capsule is equipped with USB charging, clock and light adjustment, also curtain. Toilets are available in every room, but shower was in the 2nd floor only.

The hike! The rooms are located in the third and fourth floor and there is no lift in the building. I was lucky to have traveled light, but will definitely not bringing myself up with heavy luggages. I arrived at 10pm and the onsen is already closed - sadly was not able to experience this amenity as I had to leave early in the morning.

I was staying in Nadeshiko twice during my trip, the staff were lovely and accommodating with any queries I had. The capsule was comfortable and I slept well most of my stay. My favourite part was the Onsen which was open all night which was perfect for me to come in after a long day and use. As well as that, the all female aspect was really nice and felt very secure and safe. I would highly recommend Nadeshiko to solo female travellers in Tokyo.

I would have little to no complaints but maybe the introduction of a fridge in the room or leisure area would be helpful for bringing food in. Just to note for other travellers, there are three cases of stairs so be prepared for that with your bags.
