breakfast was good. The hotel was close to most things in akihabara which made it easy to find things, go out for dinner etc. Staff were super friendly and checking/check out was an absolute breeze.

We were not expecting there to be a full size window in the bathroom. Im not really a huge fan of making eye contact with my friends when they're trying to take a poo in the bathroom, or having a shower. Also the curtain that was there was stylised to have holes in it, so even if it was for privacy, you could still see through it into the bathroom, so we had to make a concerted effort not to look at the left hand side of the room when we were in our beds and one of us needed the bathroom

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Akihabara station, which offers access to many subway and JR lines (such as the Yamanote line) making it an ideal starting point for exploring Tokyo. The area offers many great food options and even works well as a starting point for exploring Tokyo on foot. Check-in as well as check-out was efficient and easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was located on the top floor, with a nice view of the city. The room itself was conveniently furnished, with a small closet to store the luggage in, a nice desk and a massage chair. Despite being located right next to a train station, our room was fairly quiet (see the notes below), with sufficient isolation between rooms, so we never noticed any other guests.

Neither of these things are big downsides, but: * The rooms, while fairly practical and comfortable, are definitely on the smaller side, making it slightly difficult to fully open larger pieces of luggage. * During the warmer months, Akihabara is an area plagued by extremely loud motorcycles, which could still be heard on the 18th floor. The noise of the train station is noticeable, but way less prominent and didn't bother us at all, but if you're very sensitive this might be an issue. * One thing to keep in mind is that Akihabara gets extremely busy/crowded on the weekends, which may or may not be your cup of tea.

Great service, comfortable room. The temperature can be controlled which is a big plus. Check in was smooth through the machine with English-speaking staff assisting you. For check out, just put your card(s) into the same machine. Next to JR Akihabara Station in Yamanote Line among many others, and Tsukuba Express (TX) Station in case you want to go to Asakusa. Very easy to find. From JR Akihabara Station, just follow the Central Exit sign and turn south (right hand side if you're exiting the station), go past Akiba Tolim, and you'll find the hotel sign within seconds. The location can't be beaten. We used the bus stop on the other side of the station (only 5 mins walk with large luggage!) to Kawaguchiko Station to see Mt.Fuji. The bus only departs at 7:20am though and you can book it online. But it's so worth it to wake up early than go to Shinjuku/Tokyo Bus Station with all the luggages during Tokyo rush hour.. I will stay here again next time I visit Tokyo again. Thank you! 😊

Very small room, no space for large luggage

I really liked this hotel located above Akihabara station for easy access to 5 train lines, making it easy to travel to and from Haneda Airport and the limousine bus service pickup to the airport is only 3 minutes away. The location is great for shopping in 'Electric Town' with plenty of eating options minutes from the door. The room was a good size for Japanese standards, quiet, no noise from the busy streets below, charging cable for phone/batteries, desk, fridge, comfy bed and pillow, very clean and the best view from the full size bathroom windows, such a great design for a hotel room. Laundry room with 4 washers and dryers (300 Yen per wash and 100 Yen for dryer), access to ironing board by request and easy check in and out procedures. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I've stayed in Ueno twice and Toyocho on previous visits and would be happy to stay at remm Akihabara on my next visit to Tokyo. I loved it!

I liked everything about this hotel.

The hotel is literally on top of the Akihabara Station, a great benefit when moving around in Tokyo with trains or subways. The breakfast, although limited in its options, was exceptionally prepared every day, and there are many shops around, including convenience stores. The room was very clean, with a very nice view of the streets below, while there were many amenities to be found at the front desk. The check-in /check-out process was automated, with English descriptions which is very helpful when you are not fluent in (or even if you don't understand even a bit of) Japanese.

The room size is a bit smaller than I expected, although I believe this is generally true for rooms in Japan. As breakfast is served in the cafe on the 2nd floor of the Akiba Tolim building (where remm Akihabara is located), and the hotel area begins from the 6th floor upwards, it may be a bit confusing at first to reach the cafe for your breakfast the first time, especially if you're not used in multiple elevators leading to different floors.

Location is the most convenient. For the price they charge, it's an amazing value. Concierge staff is also multilingual, so they are very helpful.

Rooms are starting to get a little run down. Hopefully renovations happen soon.

Location of the hotel is attached with Akihabara station which is very convenient. All basic amenities were available and I really love the smell of almond bath gel and chamomile shampoo. Massage chair in the room is a rare find in most hotels in Tokyo and the wide window makes the room feel spacious.

Limited time to use iron and need to return to reception within 1 hour. I wish the breakfast is buffet style instead of a la cart meal. However, they provided free flow salad bar and beverages during breakfast.

Lovely place, well worth the price for the location, the cleanliness and staff treatment exceeded expectations, facilities could be more but made up for the excellent location nearby stations, convenience and shopping areas. A laundry room on the 7th floor which you can check the availability from your own room

Could be more facilities for fitness, small gym would be enough for the long stay. The laundry room provided could be better, as a few times it didnt fully dry out our clothes but cannot complain. Everything else made up for it

We stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Akihabara, which made exploring the area super convenient. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for Tokyo standards. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the massage chair after a long day of walking. The view from the room was a nice bonus, offering a great glimpse of the city. What really stood out, though, was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Akihabara or Tokyo in general. It was a short stay, but a truly memorable one!
