As long as you know you are booking DIRECTLY under the train railways, then this is a good value. For us, we just needed some earplus and everything else was great. There was a QR code system to get into the rooms, so that was also a first for us. Since you're underground it got plenty dark for sleeping in, and staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the selections of craft beers they kept at the front desk/bar spot. Overall a great value for travelers who just want somewhere to crash and spend all day exploring.

The bed is a little hard, but that's a personal preference. It was still clean. Also, there are a few spots close for drinking but feel like for good, local food you definitely have to walk a bit.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to train station, with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Getting around the city was incredibly easy and convenient. Even though the train tracks run literally above the hotel, the noise didn’t bother me at all, so it wasn’t an issue. One of the highlights was the café located within the hotel—it had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and made for a great spot to unwind with a coffee or snack.

The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit small. It was fine for a short stay, but something to keep in mind if you prefer a bit more space.

Great: Staff. They always have a smile and very friendly. Location: 5min walk to JR Akihabara, 6 min walk to metro station. Bic camera Don quihote, Mr. Donuts, cafe, manga cafe, anything everything within 5 min distance.

I didn't take stars off, but yes, it's UNDERRAILWAY, so surprise! You hear the train running, apparently at 4am, 5am etc. The only reason why I put apparently is because I'm a deep sleeper so I didn't mind it. However i can understand this may be an issue for some. Bed is the only thing I felt was subpar. Thin and not comfortable. Pillow too but you can ask for extra pillows and blankets for free.

It was very cosy and the staff were lovely and very helpful, the train noises were not at all an issue because we were exhausted after every day so we would crash out through them. It’s also conveniently placed right near the yamanote line which makes travelling through all of Tokyo’s popular tourist areas super easy!

It is very small however that’s expected for the area, just maybe keep that in mind if you intend to collect lots and lots of trinkets from your travels because our room got very cluttered very fast aha!!

Hotel staff is very kind and speaks fluelently in english. Hotel is located in a very very good place where you can enjoy Akihabara 24/7 within a 2 minutes walk.

Room was very dark even with the window as it was straight to the roofed parking lot. Trains are louder than we thought it would be like. It is not terrible but as a person who is not bothered by sounds at night, I felt every train passing through. Well we sign in for this experience but just need to say it was far more louder than expected.

The location of the hotel five minutes from both the JR and the Metro stations was incredibly convenient. The sound of the trains in the room was actually really soothing, as someone who comes from an area with lots of city noise already. The cafe was also very convenient and the food was good. Everything was very clean all the time. The staff was SO nice and helpful.

The only microwave available for use is in the lobby cafe area. The wifi in our room was nonexistent, but it worked in the cafe area.

The staff was friendly. The location is excellent near central Akihabara and the JR station. The beds are clean and comfy. The vibe of the cafe lounge has a nice cozy intimate feel. A lot of non-hotel guests also go to the cafe.

The only "complaint" is based on someone else's review who said, "you can barely hear the train" that is a BS review! You can Definitely hear the train rumbling above the bedroom. Though the staff provides ear plug amenities so that was nice of them!

Very interesting to be staying under the train tracks. The room literally wraps around the main support beam/structure that holds up the Yamanote line so you get to hear (and feel) the train moving over. The train stops around midnight so you get some quiet if you need to ... and restarts early at 0500 or so. Going to sleep the train sounds overhead lull you to sleep. They were also extremely obliging about keeping our luggage for a few hours when we checked out. 100% for train enthusiasts ... or even just for the novelty of it all. but not for those for whom noise is an issue. They provide ear plugs.

The toilet was tiny. The sole window opens up to a view under the tracks - not necessarily a bad thing.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Close to the Ginza line for connecting to Shibuya and Asakusa stations. Right behind the main street of Akihabara. The staff were fantastic. I have very little Japanese but this was not a problem for the staff and were always happy to help. Only slight downfall is I would say is the noise from the railway. I can sleep with ear plugs in but if your a light sleeper it wouldn't be for you. The price for a Tokyo hotel I thought was fantastic and will use again if I come back to tokyo

A really great location, super helpful and friendly staff, great little cafe on site, well maintained and comfortable room

We knew about the railway noise and to be fair although it was loud enough to shake our beds at times (!) it oddly wasn’t a real issue as we were generally tired enough from our days to sleep through it. What woke me up every morning though was the fire station across the road shouting out really loudly what appeared to be drills every morning.
