Great location, Comfy and clean and good for basic quarters to rest and wash up in. No frills, basic amenities but great little extras like robes that are nice (and u can purchase a beautiful one for about 4,000 yen, great souvenir). Super close to sensoji temple, shopping, transit, right next door to shops, food. Staff is not overly enthusiastic but they are helpful. Check out process was easy.

Price is a little high considering what you get. Albeit the rooms are probably cleaner and more privately spacious I’d compare this place to a “fancy hostel”

The room is spacious for a solo traveller. There is plenty of space to lay your luggage. The location of the hotel is perfect since its near the Asakusa train station with the elevator access, so its convenient for those who are carrying big luggages and using the metro system as mode of transport. Lots of convenience stores are also near the area. The Sensoji Temple is walking distance, while Tokyo Sky Tree is very visible.

The room is a little gloomy during the night time. And the television is quite old, so you cant access other TV programs such as Netflix or YouTube.

Hotel is in a great area - plenty of restaurants, sights and shopping but with a relaxed feel. Our room was a good size and the water pressure in the shower was intense! Breakfast is basic but very nice.

The room is consider very big with this price in Tokyo, Their facility and breakfast is limited but we are ok with it as their location is very convenient where within walking distance can reach Asakusa station, hoppy street, convenient store and etc. Their staff are very friendly and willing to help. Definitely will come back again.

We staying here for whole week and we inform to clean our room every day but the room was not cleaned for two or three days which just tidy up the bed.

Tamayura was a great hotel for the value. The rooms were recently renovated with tatami and traditional designs, it looks great and was very clean. The location was wonderful, just a few steps away from multiple entrances to the Asakusa line as well as Sensoji. The room temperature was adjustable, which made things very comfortable. Free amenities were given for the bathroom (soap, shampoo, etc.), which let us keep those toiletries packed in the suitcase. There were two elevators available, which meant we almost never had to wait. WiFi was pretty good throughout the stay with minimal slow down. The 9th floor lounge was nice to hang out in when you needed to stretch your legs. And to top it all off, check in and check out were very very simple!

The semi-double bed size was fine, but the firmness made my ribs hurt. Additionally, the breakfast was just toast and coffee or tea. As a diabetic, this wasn’t sufficient. Luckily there are plenty of outside breakfast options nearby.

Central location. Easy ride to Narita airport in Tokyo, no switching of trains. Also easy to get to from Kyoto Station. Staff were friendly and capable. Could store luggage after check out, Room was clean and bright. Beds were very comfortable.

We booked two rooms for two adults and two children. It was sufficient for an adult and a child per room, but the room would likely be quite tight with two adults. We were on the lower floors and facing the main road so was a bit noisy at night. Might be difficult for light sleepers Breakfast was simple but adequate. It would have been preferable if it was located on the 9th floor. Given the small rooms, the room and bathroom probably could do with a few extra hooks to hang our towel and clothing

I LOVED the location. of course the room and hotel was pleasant to coma back to as well. The subway stations are nearby, the Sumida river is close as well. You can enjoy exploring the area and it's very peaceful to come back to once you explore the city. It's calm and beautiful. I quite enjoyed just walking around by the river with the view of the skytree. Check-in and check out was quite smooth, and additionally the reception even helped me make change for coins to use coin lockers. Very nice service It's walking distance from Senso-ji and many kimono rentals in the neighborhood. The asakusa line is a well connected line so to make your commutes smooth, I highly recommend this neighborhood. I will say the rooms are quite small so since i was here solo with just one backpack, it worked for me but it could be inconvenient if you have more things/people. Just a detail to consider. I would definitely want to stay here when i get the chance to come back.

The location is fabulous as only 4 mins walk fm exit A2b of Asakusa station! Hotel room is spacious and comfortable. I booked the new twin rooms which is 22 sqm, which is a luxury in central Tokyo city. A plus is the free b/f provided to all guests, albeit just toasts & coffee/tea. Can easily add combini food with the toasts on Level 9 lounge as there us a microwave & toaster available! The view at the roof top was a nice bonus!

The room lighting is quite bad. Sorely in need of another light at the corner which can easily be rectified by a table lamp if do not want to do renovations. The reception other than Kameron, are cold and abrupt. Wish Kameron was on duty 24/7! Also most upsetting was when I was charged for 2nd adult as reception insisted I booked for 1 adult! I had no choice but to pay the extra as both the property and Booking.com refused to acknowledge the discrepancies! Not resolved till todate!

The front desk staff was very friendly and some of them can speak exceptional English. They assisted me with transporting my luggage to another hotel with ease. The check in process was smooth and quick. The rooms were very clean and spacious. They provided some Yukata to wear in the hotel. They have shampoo, conditioner, body was, slippers, TV, fridge, table. They have elevators. The breakfast was only toast and coffee/tea but the price of stay makes up for it. Great location. I would stay here again.

I would have liked more lighting.

The location of the hotel was really good. Close to a train station and a few mins walk to the temple and different restaurants. The staff were very helpful. Amenities were available at the lobby. They will clean your room daily if you requested for it before 10am.

The yukata was not very comfortable for me, I would prefer to get a set of pajama instead if I had a choice. The room did not have enough lights especially in the bed area. The shower was not consistent because even if it was on cold you would still get a flow of hot/warm water from it.
