I liked sleeping on the pod with views of the Sumida river! The terrace has privileged views too. It is also impressive how comfortable the pod is. Futon and pilows were super cozy. The common area is isolated from the sleeping area, which is good too, you can talk to people on the phone at night. If you are on one of the upper pods, there is a lot of space to store your luggage next to your pod, which is always good. The bathrooms were clean, and the shampoo, gel, and conditioner were high quality and smelled great. The rest of the guests were quiet and polite, the room was always very silent. I will surely recommend it to my friends and come here again whenever I return to Tokyo.
My pod neighbor snored very strongly! Hahahahah but it is a hostel and this is normal. Luckily they provide free earplugs. If you can't stand snoring people, better not to stay in a hostel XD

This hostel is right in the middle of Asakusa and it is right next to Asakusa metro station. It is so convenient to start and end my days travelling around Tokyo right at the foot of this station. Staff are friendly and it has all the facilities you'd want out of a hostel like this
Beds were the least comfy ones I had on my trip, and for what a paid in mid November the hostel was a little pricey. There also really wasn't much of a social scene here. At most I could strike up a conversation with the occasional person in the downstairs lounge A lounge which was 5ft high. A lot of things in the hostel are quite small and 6ft tall me bashed my head a few times whilst staying here :(

I loved this hostel! The pods were really private and had plenty of room with shelves so I could unpack my luggage. It was super clean and the staff were all so friendly. It was really nice to have the bar downstairs to meet other travellers. The view from the roof is amazing too! Great value for money and the perfect location.

Amazing location, sweet staff and good value for money. Easy to access with the Ginza Line or the Asakusa line. Located in a beautiful neighborhood in front of the sumida river and just a few minutes away from the Senso-ji temple (and an another small temple with beautiful flowers just a few meters away!)The staff were super nice and helped me with my luggage The facilities were indeed small but really clean. The bed is big and confortable. I had space for my big luggage and my small one ! Thank you SO MUCH
Note for the other travelers: if you snores and you know it maybe don’t book a hostel. you’re making everyone’s nights a hell and this is just rude.

Its probably the highest occupancy (maybe 14 people) room Ive ever slept in a hostel but the other guests were all very respectful and quiet. The pods are well designed with a short flight of steps to the upper pods. There is a small locker within the pod plus a shelf, light, docking station and a bit of space at the side of your mattress to lay out personal belongings. My backpack lived on the floor outside the pod. My mattress and linens were very comfortable and of good quality and I slept very well indeed despite sharing a room with so many others. The location is very central and along a back street parallel to the river but even so its very quiet. There was a little noise of music coming through the wall at the back of my pillow but it didnt last all night. Its not too far from the metro stations and the line to the airport. On my first day I joined a free walking tour and the meeting point was maybe 5minutes away. There are excellent walks to nearby sights close to the hostel. I loved the view of the river and notable land marks from the balcony window. The mixed shower and toilets were clean and well designed. I never had to wait for a shower despite the room being full. I was aware I could use the showers on the next floor if I needed to. I used the laundry machines on the top floor. It was too cold to use the roof garden but it looked nice with great views. The communal area at the back of reception was a nice area to relax in or have breakfast and I enjoyed a gin and tonic one night from the well stocked bar. I got very helpful advice from Heedai on reception. He was very attentive to all the guests needs and engaged with everyone well. he insisted on carrying my bags to and from the room when I checked in and left and as there is a steep flight of stairs to the podroom I was very grateful for his help.
The slippers that were given out to eachguest werent very comfortable and kept falling off my feet. The material was very thin and I guess they have to be thrown out after each guest has left. I think reusable slippers that can be wiped clean in between use would be better for the environment. However you only wear them to the bathroom and in the pod room.

I love the location of the hostel. Close to the Asakusa Station. It’s also close to known Sensōji Temple and the very good Asakusa Gyukatsu place. Oh, and I love how the hostel’s beside the river. It looked so beautiful and peaceful at night when you’re just chillin at the rooftop! It was so relaxing and healing. It was my last two days in Tokyo and I was able to reminisce about everything that happened on this trip while looking at the beautiful city lights, the river, the bridge… I also love how hospitable, friendly, and very approachable are the owners of this hostel, Erika and Hiro. Erika welcomed me with a warm smile and very welcoming atmosphere when I got to the hostel. It felt so homey. I enjoyed our good talks with the owners while I was drinking at the bar. I love their shower head too! Like the water’s just so soft and felt so good when it touches your body lol and their living room, it’s a struggle to get in especially if you’re tall tall but it was so comfy and aesthetic! It’s very unique! And it was smart of them to maximize the place and make it a living room. Love their good air conditioning both at the bar area and living room. Approachable and helpful staff too! I was able to meet a few travellers too! I guess the perks of staying in a hostel, meeting different people!
Nothing, I love everything in this hostel.

The view on the roof is very good!! And the location of hotel is very convenience. It’s near Asakusa station A2b exit and near Asakusa temple. We can walk to have the wonderful view of night Asakusa temple.
The bed is too soft that I can’t get used to it. And there’s only stairs to go in your own room. If you have a big luggage it might be a little inconvenient.

The staff are exceptional. On my arrival I was surprised and dismayed to see stairs without an elevator, but the staff offered to carry my suitcase up (and back down on checkout) straight away with no hesitation. On my day of checkout, I stored my luggage with the hostel until 8:30pm, and staff were also helpful in showing directions and answering questions. The location was great too - it was very easy to get from the hostel to the Asakusa and Ginza lines, and also easy to travel to the other parts of Tokyo I wanted to visit. In terms of your ‘bedroom’ it was always going to be a basic setup at a hostel, but I liked the way they split the ‘pods’ into these different areas - it felt a little more private than a room with 14 bunk beds in it. The curtain was great for privacy and the personal light was handy.

It's very convenient due to it's close proximity to Asakusa station. There is a lawson near, where you can get some snacks otw back to the hostel. The bathroom is always kept clean. Don't be too worried about the safety of your personal belongings because there is a large enough safety deposit box inside your pod which you can fit your wallet, a macbook 13 inch. Not a DSLR for sure. There is space to put ur bag inside the pod too. But the luggage has to be put outside. Just lock it and it will be fine. Kei san has been really friendly and accommodating . Really appreciated his time to chat with me!

Amazing location in Asakusa, only a couple minutes' walks to public transport and very easy walk to other key Asakusa landmarks. The staff were outstanding, and the breakfast is surprisingly good (500yen for a toasted sandwich, coffee, and yoghurt). Free wifi and a curated list of recommended places to eat nearby. The rooftop lounge has a glorious view and we spent hours chatting up here having lunch or dinner. Hostel staff are happy to store your luggage for a small charge as well.
Slight smell of mold or mildew in the top-floor bathroom; to be expected as this is where the laundry is.
