Some people told me staying in Asakusa was a crazy idea. Nope. Literally above a train station servicing 2 lines, shortish train trips to pretty much everything we did, great view and very short walk to the main district in Asakusa. What isn't to like? The accomodation was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and even assisted with luggage transport for our next stop. Beds were comfortable and more importantly for me... it was dark in the morning (hello block out blinds). Will stay again. Family Mart downstairs made breakfast easy.

This is a fantastic hotel. I had a few different hotels chosen for our stay in Tokyo, and I am glad we chose this one. Excellent location to public transport, which easily got us to multiple different locations across Tokyo. Impeccably clean and the room facilities were perfect for my family of 4. Asakusa is a beautiful area in Tokyo. Our room also had views of the river, skytree, and the Asahi building, which I was not expecting. The rooftop view was stunning! Thank you for our stay.

The hotel is in a great location in a quieter area of Tokyo - close to the Sensoji Temple and Asakusa train station. The room was not huge, but a decent enough size for a family of 4 (2 kids) over 7 nights, and we could leave our suitcases open on the floor and still have enough space to walk around. The kitchenette and dining table were handy with 2 kids in tow, which made breakfasts easy to prepare each day (with a toaster we were able to hire for free from the reception). The washer and dryer facilities (in the hotel common areas) were also handy. The staff were lovely and helpful. The Kuro-Go luggage service to the airport was excellent and easy to use, allowing us to explore Tokyo on our last day without having to lug our bags around before heading to the airport.

The in-room toiletries (hand wash, body soap, shampoo and conditioner) were fairly basic - much less luxurious than other hotels we stayed at. Given the room price, I had anticipated these would be better quality.

Nice rooms for 4 people in close proximity to Asakusa. Bed's are satisfactory but not exceptional. Kitchen and sitting area is also very nice. Staff is very helpful. Nice view of Skytree from rooftop area.

There are times you may have to wait for the elevator as there is only 1 that is shared with lobby and 50 or so rooms. Laundry can also be full and may need to find a good window if you plan on doing laundry in the hotel.

+Room has kitchenette with a large fridge (much larger than the normal hotel room fridge), induction cooktop, and microwave +they don't clean the room everyday, but they do change your towels and take your trash out everyday +convenient location, bustling area with lots of activities and dining options +near subway exits (ginza and asakusa lines) +a Family Mart right downstairs

-not 24/7 reception -no proper dropoff area so the cabs will just stop at the side of the road and you have to squeeze through the gaps between fences and trees to get to the sidewalk -they don't clean the room everyday (sheets are changed every 2 or 3 days which is ok, but no daily cleaning) -a bit noisy as you can hear the cars and people down in the streets even from a high floor

The family room that we stayed in was great for our family of 4. Bunk beds were a hit with the kids and there was enough space for us to move around despite our 2 big and 2 cabin bags. Adapters for the Japanese power outlets were also available which was great as we had a ton of electronics but only 1 adapter. Location of the hotel was just mere minutes walk away from Senso-ji. Plenty of eateries, shops, drugstores and cultural experience without having to leave Asakusa. Family mart just next to the hotel entrance made picking snacks and drinks very easy. We loved hanging out at the dining table in the room to end the day every evening.

The subway exit nearest to the hotel on the Ginza line had no elevators/escalators making the trip up and down with luggage very demanding. However, we found the exit to the Asakusa line 5 minutes walk down the road, which had an elevator.. Daily bed service would have been nice. Thankfully, the trash was taken out, and towels were replaced daily.

First stay in a Mimaru hotel that we had heard so much about when researching accommodation choices - and the hype is true!! Lovely decorated clean room, comfortable beds (bit hard but we liked that), everything you could possibly need was thought of, even kitchen roll, cling film etc. Washing machines and dryers worked well and were mostly empty. We had a riverview apartment which was great and worth the extra money. We loved the area as well, busy around Senso-Ji temple during the day but towards late afternoon and evening or just a few steps away towards Sumida River it was quiet. Staff was lovely and super helpful too. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week stay here with 2 adults and 2 teens. The room was a good size, and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, and so close to several train lines. We found getting around Tokyo very very easy. Much quieter staying in Asakusa compared to Shinjuku. Very close to Sensoji Temple and markets.

Our only issue was with the hotel washing machines and dryers. Dryers seemed to be inconsistent, sometimes 1 cycle would completely dry all our clothes, other times we'd come back and our clothes were cold and damp like the cycle barely ran at all. At one point my husband came back 10mins late to check our clothes were dry (we were very good and set timers to return to check our clothes, which other hotel guests would leave their clothes sitting in the dryers for hours at a time) and couldn't find them anywhere. He eventually went to Reception who said they removed our clothes. When my husband asked why they did this, the staff member seemed to know less and less English - I assume she was trying to avoid confrontation. We never got an answer from her.

Right outside Exit 4 of Asakusa's Ginza line! The staff are so friendly and I had enjoyable conversations with them throughout my stay here! The hotel offer toys for loan which is convenient for those who have kids. The hotel also have coin laundries :) The rooms are also extremely spacious, and spotless! The little rooftop platform also makes a very nice place to chill and enjoy the Asakusa skyline in the evening :)

The hotel only has 1 elevator, which is extremely busy during check-out period, but it is something I don't really mind :)

The staff were excellent, and the location was perfect — convenience stores (konbini) were everywhere. Basic facilities like the laundry were more than enough for the entire stay. The bathroom was clean and functional, though the water pressure was a bit low. Personally, I didn’t find the pillow and mattress very comfortable, but that might just be me. The room was a bit smaller than I expected, but I understand that’s typical for Japanese standards. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and everything else was just right!
