Some people told me staying in Asakusa was a crazy idea. Nope. Literally above a train station servicing 2 lines, shortish train trips to pretty much everything we did, great view and very short walk to the main district in Asakusa. What isn't to like? The accomodation was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and even assisted with luggage transport for our next stop. Beds were comfortable and more importantly for me... it was dark in the morning (hello block out blinds). Will stay again. Family Mart downstairs made breakfast easy.
Nothing really. It was great

This is a fantastic hotel. I had a few different hotels chosen for our stay in Tokyo, and I am glad we chose this one. Excellent location to public transport, which easily got us to multiple different locations across Tokyo. Impeccably clean and the room facilities were perfect for my family of 4. Asakusa is a beautiful area in Tokyo. Our room also had views of the river, skytree, and the Asahi building, which I was not expecting. The rooftop view was stunning! Thank you for our stay.

The hotel is in a great location in a quieter area of Tokyo - close to the Sensoji Temple and Asakusa train station. The room was not huge, but a decent enough size for a family of 4 (2 kids) over 7 nights, and we could leave our suitcases open on the floor and still have enough space to walk around. The kitchenette and dining table were handy with 2 kids in tow, which made breakfasts easy to prepare each day (with a toaster we were able to hire for free from the reception). The washer and dryer facilities (in the hotel common areas) were also handy. The staff were lovely and helpful. The Kuro-Go luggage service to the airport was excellent and easy to use, allowing us to explore Tokyo on our last day without having to lug our bags around before heading to the airport.
The in-room toiletries (hand wash, body soap, shampoo and conditioner) were fairly basic - much less luxurious than other hotels we stayed at. Given the room price, I had anticipated these would be better quality.

We thought that the location was absolutely amazing and perfectly positioned for us to access any of the great locations anywhere. It was wonderful to wake up and have the chance to see Senso-ji and have the area essentially to us. I would say that food options are really good around the area as well and being able to get on/off the Ginza line and trains, was very easy once we got used to everything. Can definitely recommend this location for families as it was a bit quieter and cleaner than other neighborhoods. I highly recommend planning to eat breakfast at Mimaru, as there are not many available early morning dining options nearby with the exception of Denny's and a couple of fast-food locations across the way. There's also a department store very close by and a grocery store on the lower level if you need groceries. If you need coffee before your real coffee, Don Quixote (within walking distance) sells Starbucks pour over and fruit.
The only thing we didn't like about the space is that there wasn't much privacy between us and the bunk beds, but we may have misunderstood the configuration of the space from the floorplans. We also didn't use the stove and kitchenware as much as I thought we would, despite staying there for seven days. If you're an early riser, we would recommend getting breakfast sorted early in your travel plans or stay at a hotel that provides breakfast.

+Room has kitchenette with a large fridge (much larger than the normal hotel room fridge), induction cooktop, and microwave +they don't clean the room everyday, but they do change your towels and take your trash out everyday +convenient location, bustling area with lots of activities and dining options +near subway exits (ginza and asakusa lines) +a Family Mart right downstairs
-not 24/7 reception -no proper dropoff area so the cabs will just stop at the side of the road and you have to squeeze through the gaps between fences and trees to get to the sidewalk -they don't clean the room everyday (sheets are changed every 2 or 3 days which is ok, but no daily cleaning) -a bit noisy as you can hear the cars and people down in the streets even from a high floor

Excellent apartments hotel, with lovely staff, at a great location, right in the middle of Asakusa - a walking distance to ROX mall, Sensoji temple, and to the Asakusa metro station (with 2 lines). Staff are wonderful, rooms are spacious and clean, and well equipped. Coin Laundry and vending machines are on reception floor, and can be easliy use. Great place, highly recommended.
It's rather minor, but pay attention this hotel has a single elevator, what makes the lines or the wait at a higher levels a bit long. From reception at level 2 to the street, you can use the external stairs...

Lovely studio type apartment in the heart of Asakusa. Beds are clean and comfortable. Walking distance to subway stations, Sensoji temple, Skytree, and shopping areas. They also offer discounted Skytree tickets!
There is only one elevator that's often busy, so it could be a bit of wait to get in and out, especially during checkout times. Also, it would be nice if some of the trainee receptionists could get more knowledge on tourist spots. We asked about ways to get to Mt Fuji and were only told to use google maps. Although she was lovely to speak with, it would have been great to have more information from a senior staff member.

Room & space The apartment-style suite was a Tokyo dream: spotless, cleverly laid out, and genuinely spacious. Sliding doors let us create a separate bunk-bed “kids’ zone,” so after a full day exploring Asakusa we could unwind without tip-toeing around sleeping children. The mini-kitchen made breakfasts easy (and saved us yen), while the laundry facilities were fantastic. Location, location, location You step outside and you’re basically in a postcard: Senso-ji’s Kaminarimon Gate is a five-minute stroll, Sumida River views are just across the street, and Asakusa Station is right there for quick hops to the rest of Tokyo. We loved evening walks along Nakamise shopping street after the crowds thinned.
Nothing it was perfect

Nice rooms for 4 people in close proximity to Asakusa. Bed's are satisfactory but not exceptional. Kitchen and sitting area is also very nice. Staff is very helpful. Nice view of Skytree from rooftop area.
There are times you may have to wait for the elevator as there is only 1 that is shared with lobby and 50 or so rooms. Laundry can also be full and may need to find a good window if you plan on doing laundry in the hotel.

The family room that we stayed in was great for our family of 4. Bunk beds were a hit with the kids and there was enough space for us to move around despite our 2 big and 2 cabin bags. Adapters for the Japanese power outlets were also available which was great as we had a ton of electronics but only 1 adapter. Location of the hotel was just mere minutes walk away from Senso-ji. Plenty of eateries, shops, drugstores and cultural experience without having to leave Asakusa. Family mart just next to the hotel entrance made picking snacks and drinks very easy. We loved hanging out at the dining table in the room to end the day every evening.
The subway exit nearest to the hotel on the Ginza line had no elevators/escalators making the trip up and down with luggage very demanding. However, we found the exit to the Asakusa line 5 minutes walk down the road, which had an elevator.. Daily bed service would have been nice. Thankfully, the trash was taken out, and towels were replaced daily.
