We really liked being in a small hotel and found Asakusa to be an excellent area from which to visit Tokyo. It is pleasant to walk around and near good public transportation lines.

The hotel was perfect. As first time travelers to Japan a list of general local information such as nearby restaurant recommendations and luggage transport services would have been useful to us.

You can't beat this location. It's practically on Sensoji temple grounds, on a side street just off the main shopping / tourist areas. Despite being right in the action of Asakusa, it was perfectly quiet at night, as the street out front most shuts down at a reasonable hour. Aside from the temple, you have quick access to a metro station, a 7-11 only 30 seconds from the front door, and Hoppy Street, Donki, and Uniqlo a very short walk away. The rooms are quite small, but perfectly functional and comfortable. You don't come to this area to spend a lot of time in your room anyway. I appreciated the water dispenser and air purifier in the room. The staff are outstanding.

There are a few things that could be better. First, the pillows suck. I asked for an extra one and was told, "We don't have extra pillows." I've travelled broadly and that's the first time a hotel has told me that. If you want your room cleaned, you need to ask them before 1pm that day. If you don't read the info card in the room, you can easily miss that. Also, if you want them to book a taxi for you, they need to know before 6pm the day before.

Location is on a quiet street right in the middle of Asakusa, very short walk to Sensoji temple and around 5 min. walk to Asakusa Station. Plenty of food options and convenience stores, you could never run out. Yamato transport is also only 2 blocks away if you're planning to send your luggages to a different city. The room was quite spacious for Tokyo, and at a good value. Room size was appropriate for our family of 3 with a young toddler, but I don't see it being comfortable for 3 adults or even 2 adults and a teenager. Bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Loved the in-room water dispenser. There's a small lounge area in the lobby that we could use to eat our take outs late at night, order drinks etc. Staff were great! Always available, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Daily room cleaning was great, which we didn't expect for the price. Overall an excellent stay!

The corridors and elevator were very small, we're quite small in stature so it was fine for us, but I imagine it could be a problem for those with bigger build. We didn't need to do laundry as we stayed in the beginning of our vacation, but a laundry room would be very nice. Didn't explore coin laundry options in the area.

The location was great, the staff was very courteous and tried to do everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The amenities in the room were good :comfortable beds, nice bathroom, water dispenser for hot water. There is also a little breakfast place in the lobby in case you want to eat at the hotel

The room was very small , there are two beds and the tatami raised floor, you would need to setup futons. The pictures do not do justice. There is not enough room to open a suitcase.

This hotel is very well located in Tokyo, in a quiet street but steps away from a beautiful temple and a busy shopping neighborhood full of restaurants. It's also very easy to travel anywhere in Tokyo with the subway minutes away and on a convenient line. The room was super clean and breakfast was good.

For four people the room was fairly small. It was fine for us as we travel light and have experienced teenage travelers but some families might find it too small.

The staff, location, and style/comfort of the room were all highlights during our delightful stay at Asakusa Kaede. Sindy was so helpful during our stay! She had amazing recommendations and was very accommodating. The hospitality was really top notch. Jubayer was also very friendly and service-oriented. The location was perfect. It was down a quiet alleyway in a busier area of Asakusa. The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed! Very contemporary but also nodded to the more traditional/cultural homes we stayed at in Japan. Loved the art! Will recommend and hope to be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staff were friendly, check in process was smooth too. The room was well-furnished and clean. There were 2 toilets in the room, which was great as we didn’t have to take turns to use the toilet. There were basic amenities in the room too such as a water dispenser. After shuffling some of the furniture around, we could also comfortably fit 5 futon beds for 5 adults. Daily room cleaning was very good, even helped to fix and tidy up our futon beds. Location was good, just 5min walk from Asakusa station, and right next to Nakamise shopping alley.

As expected, the room was very small. Could not lay out our luggages like we normally would (we had 4 big luggages). But it was not too uncomfortable for us.

The location was great. Close to Sensō-ji temple, nearby shopping and train station on the Ginza line. The Junior suite was very nice with a tub, rain shower, Japanese style toilet with seat warming and cleansing functions. The room also had a tatami seating area, 2 single beds and 2 extra futons if needed. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Multilingual.

We traveled in March and it was really cold and rainy. As such, the room only had heating and a fan, no AC at the time. They will allow you to open the window but you have to ask for the handle.

Splendid location. Exploring Asakusa kannon (senso-ji) in the day and night. A stone's throw away from so many eateries and shopping, and still hotel surrounding is quiet, location in a small lane. Friendly hotel staff. There's a hot/cold water dispenser in the room. We had 2 single beds and 2 futons. The room space is limited if you have big luggage. (3nights-Dec2024)

theres no disposable amenities(shower cap/toothbrush), but we are okay.

Exceptional location very close to Senso-ji temple; also very close to restaurants for evening dinners, subway station and tourist office (where we created our tourist 3-day subway cards). We were the only ones at breakfast in the morning, and were grateful for the custom-made, chef-style japanese breakfast! The laundry option was very convenient and reliable. The adult beds were fantastic, we slept so well despite the jetlag - and the kids enjoyed their futons. We didn't make use of the public bath vouchers, but our en-suite bathroom was stunning. Thank you!

The room was small, luckily we only traveled with carry-on luggages. It would have been a struggle to navigate around big suitcases in the room
