I had an absolutely wonderful stay at City Citadel! From the moment I arrived, Saif, the managing host, made me feel like welcomed. The hotel itself is a few minutes walking from downtown Amman. Saif went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. He was always available to assist with any questions or recommendations, whether it was arranging transportation or suggesting the best local restaurants. The hotel offers nice daily breakfast. Without a doubt, I'll be returning to City Citadel on my next visit to the city. Highly recommended!

The owner/staff, Mr. Zaid is friendly and helpful. The location just perfect to explore around the city and tourism attraction such as Citadel old city, Roma Amphitheater, Bazar, Food and Restaurant, Mosque those are Moslem and looking for pray and much more. All just set as my expectation.

For the hotel since its budget hotel, dont put much expectation, if you are looking for good location, well sleep, and simple breakfast, this is should be your choice. The thing that may not exceeding my expaction is breakfast time where is start quite late at 830am, should at least at 7am for breakfast. Especially if you have tour start in the morning, then you dont have a chance to get the breakfast! Or if your flight in the early morning, you also dont have a chance to enjoy the breakfast too.

The property is located in a very strategic place of Amman.. The reception is very welcoming and always helpful. Read this carefully: It is a very modest staying and for the price we totally felt safe with a filling nice breakfast. We also could reach downtown in 5 minutes of walk! (Close by there’s a Carrefour and a Starbucks in case if you are in need western coffee shots) - I would recommend it to friends and family who are approaching the Jordan capital. Truly THANK YOU! Also the refillable water station big up! 🙂

Little interiors details but these could improve with time and true possible growth (theres a beautiful granite/terrazzo floor in all the building but it is covered with carpet which can collect lots of dust) For now is really a decent place and makes a good stay for the value paid. I would recommend it to anyone approaching Jordan and their capital on a low travel budget Ask before hand to explain the parking

Staff was kind and helpful with everything Great location - 10 minute walk from downtown Mineral water was available to refill our bottles instead of buying / getting new plastic bottles each time, which was great Offered umbrellas to borrow when it was raining outside We would come back again :)

The building was a bit old and there seemed to be problems with the infrastructure- but they were very quick to help out/fix whatever needed, super understanding and even upgraded us at no extra charge - the room we were moved to was great, very spacious. We were given shampoo and towels to shower which was great, but no hand/face towels Even so, Good value for money

A great place to stay. very friendly staff. i stayed here two times. they were so kind to store my suitcase during my cycling trip through Jordan. the rooms were very clean and there is a good breakfast included . used their airport service and it’s very good value for the money. Uber might safe you 6 dinars but the drivers were very friendly, helpful and it’s great if somebody is already waiting for you at the airport and you can pass quickly through all the hawkers. lost my AirPods in the car and they called their driver and he was so kind to bring them back to the hotel. what a great experience to start your trip to Jordan. I can’t understand some of the bad reviews. considering the price it’s very great value for the money. I would stay there again on my next trip to Jordan.

Friendly and warm staff. Hard-working team bring breakfast to you table service in the morning. Good location in that downtown is a few minutes walk away (downhill to get there). My flight was late at night so last minute tour was organised to visit Jerash, Ajloun Castle then straight to airport, no problem at all. The driver Ahmad was very kind and engaging despite limited English. Would highly recommend to stay here as the service is amazing!

It makes no difference to me at all, but some might find the street noise too loud. My advice is to do your best. You are in Amman! There will be street noise!

I am really sattisfied. Hotel is located in very good place - near cytadel (however you need use 100 stairs up), downtown, bazar, etc. Personel was very useful and friendly, breakfast maybe not very special, but was really enaugh. Air-Condition was very effective. No problems with parking places. And last but not least - price was very good

My room was a bit Spartan style (but still comfortable), and some street music was just behind the window till midnight.

Nice hotel in a good location. Nothing fancy, but clean and has everything you need. The owner is extremely helpful in arranging tours, providing local information, and making sure you have everything you need. Fast wifi was great and reliable. Good breakfast. He went out of his way to drop off and pick up my laundry from a local shop when I was out visiting the surrounding areas, which I really appreciated. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops in downtown Amman.

Seif was incredibly generous and kind with his time and making sure I was happy and comfortable during my stay. The free breakfast helps get your day off to a great start and the location is perfect for enjoying Amman. They are also helpful with arranging taxis and SIM cards are available for purchase. The location is ideal to visit all important sights in Amman. Breakfast is traditionally Jordanian, served from 8:30-11:00, and plenty. You can book tours or rental cars directly at the hotel (we just booked a tour and skipped the rental car). 24h reception and staff was very friendly. We had a room facing the yard and not the street, so it was quiet. We had air condition, which is really helpful in June. Would come again!
