I had an incredible stay at Shams Al-Weibdeh Hotel in Amman! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff made me feel truly welcome. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, offering a fantastic location in the heart of Weibdeh, with beautiful views and easy access to Amman's vibrant culture. A special thanks to Mahmoud, whose outstanding management and dedication made my experience even more memorable. His attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile ensured that everything was perfect. Whether it was recommendations, assistance, or just a friendly chat, Mahmoud made all the difference. I highly recommend Shams Al-Weibdeh to anyone visiting Amman.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly hospitable — a special thank you to Hamza for his warm and attentive service. Abu Ahmed also went above and beyond to ensure my room was spotless and that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The hotel features a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing, and its location is excellent — with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting Amman.

Nothing - everything was good

All staff were very friendly and helpful; they satisfied all our requests for washing powder, iron, hair dryer. The main room is large, with a big sofa and a good enough kitchen for 2 people. There was even a washing machine that we could use. We found food or groceries, went for a coffee in the shops nearby. Only a 15 mn walk to the old town. The swimming pool is small but there were very few people any time we went. Note it is in the shade early so in spring, one has to go rather early. Very quiet place except for the mosque nearby that woke us up around 4:00 each night but that would be the case in most places in town and one gets used to it quickly.

Breakfast was not great, only powder coffee and little choice of food.

They professionally arranged everything — from our airport pickup, to our daily tours, and even our transfer back at the end of the stay. Their coordination was seamless and thoughtful. Mahmoud and Rakan were always responsive, kind, and genuinely caring. Thanks to them, our trip was stress-free and full of unforgettable moments. Do not miss this camp — it offers the most heartfelt and sincere experience you can imagine in Wadi Rum. Ahmed and Liliana, the kind-hearted managers, along with their entire Bedouin family, welcome you as one of their own. This is a truly authentic Bedouin experience, where the family openly shares their stories, traditions, and way of life. The tours are incredible, always accompanied by a family member who brings a personal touch and deep knowledge of the area. Nothing is ever charged extra — they genuinely care about making sure you have a meaningful time and get a true glimpse into local life. Everything is clear and transparent from the very beginning. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated — with a direct view of the Star Wars filming location and just a 10-minute walk from the main sunset viewpoint, surrounded by breathtaking desert scenery. All meals are lovingly prepared by the family — delicious, generous, and shared around the table with traditional tea and warm conversation. Wadi Rum simply wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else. We leave fulfilled, grateful, and truly moved by our experience at Rum Under the Stars.

Everything was great!

I arrived with 2 friends and we were very happy with this hotel. It looks very smart from the outside and the lobby is modern and stylish. The receptionists we met were all very pleasant and helpful. The suite we got was a good size and it was much like the pics shown on-line. The bedrooms were both a reasonable size with comfy beds and good storage space. It had a safe and fridge with complimentary water. Both bathrooms were okay sizes and had large shower cubicles with good strong hot water. The rooms were well insulated and we had very little noise bar a nearby mosque with its highly amplified 4am call to prayer! The sitting area/kitchenette was fine if a little gloomy (its light came from the bedrooms) although we didn't really use it much. Check-out is later than most hotels (1pm) which was very useful for us. It's located in a quietish street and is a short walk to some pleasant bustling streets although some way from the downtown (and Amman is very hilly so wear good walking shoes!). The value for money for this hotel was excellent I thought.

The wifi wasn't that strong and could take a while to load websites. The breakfast was cheap but very poor - so on the second day we walked 10 minutes to Paris Square which has lots of good cafes and restaurants for reasonably priced breakfasts. My ensuite bathroom had a slight smell of standing stale water and the bum-gun dripped so I turned it off at the valve. The decor is fine but all rather dark - some colour in the place would liven it up a bit!

The accommodations are spacious, well-furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Overall, Shams Alweibdeh Hotel Apartments is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and welcoming place to stay in Amman. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this property ticks all the boxes. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Jordan!

The only downside is that the hotel is located near a place of worship, which might cause some discomfort due to the early or frequent calls to prayer, especially if you’re a light sleeper.

We stayed at the Shams Al Webideh Hotel Apartments in Amman and had a wonderful experience! The hotel itself was super nice, clean, and comfortable. It’s in a great location — close to plenty of restaurants, museums, and lively nightlife, but still peaceful enough to relax.
