The hotel is in the best location in downtown ,offering a beautifully view over the the whole city,Petra is only 1.9km away and super easy to walk it for visiting.All the bars,shops and restaurants are near by.The hotel is in a quiet location and very clean,they offer you unlimited free coffee and tea to make your self all the day.(Unlikely in the western countries where you have to pay for everything).Jonah checked me in at the reception and provided to me all the information required.from the begining-she was super helpful and knowledgeable.As well I had required a bit of a late check out which has been granted kindly by the owner of the hotel Mr Nasser and Jonah.The place is lovely and full of tourists eager to explore Arabic culture ,cousins and embrace the history of thousands of years.For sure I will be back there again as I felt at home.-everything is safe and secure and no obstacles have come around my way as all the people I meet there are kind and super caring ready to help you anytime.You have as well Aircon in the room for free(some hotels will charge you extra for this).Enjoy Petra!

It is a modest but very affordable hotel located in Wadi Musa. Precious, the girl working at the hotel, was really nice with us. She was helpful and kind. She recommended us a good and affordable restaurant in Wadi Musa and quickly found solutions if we needed anything. The owner of the hotel was kind and helpful too. He helped us finding a transportation to Wadi Rum at a honest price.

Everything was good.

The host was lovely and the general vibe in the hotel was comfy. The room and bathroom were clean, although like much of Jordan, the bathroom had limescale and seemed in need of an update- although it was very clean so didn't feel too bad. The water pressure was a bit low but it was ok for us. I thought for the price it was very good value for money. Beds were firm and comfy! You can park outside on the road with no problem. There's a cool rooftop upstairs which was great to hang out in after dinner rather than going to the room. I would stay again but it's a budget traveller option.

I had the most incredible stay at the Petra Gate Hotel, and I can't say enough good things about this establishment! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was treated to a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. First and foremost, the staff at Petra Gate Hotel were exceptional. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to ensure that I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Whether it was providing valuable local insights, arranging tours to the stunning Petra archaeological site, or fulfilling any special requests I had, they consistently exceeded my expectations.

Nothing, Everything was perfect.

we were greeted and taken care of very well. the morning/afternoon staff was impeccable and very friendly. She also arranged transport for us to the back door of Petra. I had forgotten a charging cord when we departed and she ran after us with it in hand. view of the sunset over the city is very nice. The beds are clean and comfortable enough for the price. one of our showers worked very well and water was hot even in the evening. they have a kettle in the lobby for tea and coffee. very relaxed environment.

the second room hardly any water came out and the water pooled up, which is gross. also a stench came from the drain in the second room bathroom. this was a father-son adventure trip. no big deal to us, since we put the 4 boys in that room and the two dads took the first room! The staff in the late evening was on her phone while attempting to help me. literally on a phone call with a friend, which was annoying, but I am sure it’s hard to find night help and my question was resolved.

Good location on the main street with shops and restaurants, nice view from the top of the town, parking in front but most of all, I really enjoyed being welcomed by the bubbly and welcoming receptionist (I am sorry, I do not know your name!) who takes it upon herself to look after her guests (also in terms of food hygiene inside and outside the hotel). The room was simple, yet sufficient, which was exactly what I was looking for. I hope it all turns out well for you this season, thank you for everything!

The Petra Gate hotel is managed directly by owner Naser and his amazing Manager Leila. Leila is a 5 star manager with a 24/7 smile and exceptional client care. No request is too much and she will always go the extra mile to help you. She was so amazing I invited her to my birthday dinner as she’s such a lovely person. It’s a small, humble hotel, but the kindness and care you receive will warm your heart. It’s also only 15 mins walk to the Tourist Centre where the Petra walk begins. It’s close to many lovely restaurants and shops too. Enjoy!

Nasser, the owner is the kindest man in the world ! He was nice and offered me a breakfast, a postcard and a ride to the visitor center of Petra. I will remember this for sure ! The bedroom was clean, with a comfortable king bed, a private bathroom and air condition in the room. Coffee/tea is free for all guests. Best quality-price ratio ! I will come back for sure

Very helpful and friendly staff, especially Lea, the manager of the hotel. Ground Floor location of my room with 3 single beds. Her help in booking transport from Wadi Mus to Wadi Rum ( 10 JD versus 15 JD via Jett Bus).

Location - need to take a taxi or shared ride to go to the Petra Visitors Ctr. Yellow taxi drivers want to charge 7 JD for each ride. Shared rides with white pickup trucks is 2 JD.

Amazing location - surrounded by shops and markets and a 25 minute walk from The Ancient City of Petra. Staff were so friendly and amazing, they gave us late checkout when I wasn't feeling well. Free tea and coffee facilities. Comfy bed. Amazing view from the window. Rooftop lounge area with even more incredible views. Hot water.

Room was a little bit small but this was only a minor thing.
