The level of service was AMAZING, from the super helpful front of house staff who help with airport pick up and escorted me to the train (helping me navigate the slightly excessive security there… thanks John), to the waitstaff at breakfast who made the amazing cappuccinos and the friendly cleaning staff

The room carpets might do with hoovering more often

Great Location and Warm Hospitality We stayed two nights in Nairobi, and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The location is excellent. Just 10 minutes from the airport, close to Nairobi National Park, a shopping mall, and with easy access to the train station. The hotel itself is nicely designed, with a pleasant layout and a fantastic breakfast that we really enjoyed. The staff were especially friendly and attentive. A big thank you to Beth at reception and Faith at the bar for their warm and thoughtful service. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax for a day in Nairobi before continuing their journey. It’s a great spot to unwind and experience genuine Kenyan hospitality.

The only thing we missed in the room was a proper place to store our clothes.

Rooms were very modern, comfortable and luxurious. The bed was huge and we had more than enough space staying in the family room. We only stayed about 10 hours overnight as we had a flight that left the next morning. We wish we could've stayed longer! Staff were very friendly and helpful and the transfer to the airport was quick with very friendly service from the driver, Godfrey. The kids had some pastries before we left and they said that it was even better than the ones you get in Europe. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Next time we will stay longer and ensure we use the other facilities such as the pool, etc.

It is a very convenient option for being close to the airport. The room is very very comfortable, and was well equipped. It was ideal for our last night in Kenya before heading back home after a rough week making safari around the country. The breakfast has many options, vegetarian, gluten free, even an Indian station if someone wants curry. The staff was also very good and supportive. Organize the shuttle bus as soon as you arrive in order to not have any delay. Pro tip about the place, after one week running around Kenya we noticed that the souvenirs were very expensive on the road, we thought it would be similar at the hotel, but certainly they had a reasonable price, even cheaper than on the road.

Everything was great. The only minimal thing was that the body wash was finished and we told them but no one changed it. But that's something very minimal, we just took the one on the sink

We had an amazing stay at Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport! From the moment we landed in Nairobi, we felt so welcomed – the hotel arranged our airport pick-up, which was so smooth and convenient. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, and every staff member we met was kind, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. At breakfast, they even made us a special coffee with soy milk, which was such a thoughtful touch! The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. This was our first experience in Nairobi, and it set the bar incredibly high – we genuinely felt cared for, even for just one night. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect for being close to the airport. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was wonderful. At other places, we had to pay extra for special coffees. Not at this hotel, which was so delicious. For our last night, we stayed at another hotel that we quickly regretted as soon as we arrived. If you are looking for a place that is convenient to the airport, offers airport transport, and the option of a delicious breakfast, this would be a great choice. There is nothing outside the hotel property, which was not a problem for us. We were in Kenya for a safari so we did not stay here for the opportunity to explore the area. To be honest, I would absolutely pay the extra charge to fly from Nairobi to a specific safari location. The ride to the safari area/s are long, rough, and take time away from seeing the beauty of the country. We certainly hope to return and we would certainly use this hotel as a point for a quick overnight to prepare for or returning to the airport. Lastly, the staff was absolutely wonderful.

The hotel common areas and rooms are comfortable and lovely. Location is handy to the airport and the shuttle is excellent. We had not pre booked the shuttle but on arrival an airport staff member called the hotel for us and a charming woman named Maggie was there to pick us up very quickly. Breakfast was great.

There is some street noise but not enough to keep us awake and we’re light sleepers. The pool area is small and doesn’t have enough places to sit. Food in the bar was expensive and not great. No places to eat in the immediate area outside of the hotel.

The food was good if you avoid the buffet. The staff was very friendly. The conference facilities were acceptable. The property was clean. The airport pick and drop worked perfectly. Very close to the airport.

There are no drawers and cupboards in the rooms. The rooms are pricey for what they offer. The switches for the lights and the curtains try to be HiTech and end up being dysfunctional and annoying! Sometimes simple things work better.

I am so glad we opted for Argyle as a choice close to the airport. The best hotel welcome, greeted by a hot lavender steaming towellette in the lobby, to a beautifuly appointed comfortable room, with high end ammennities. Airport drop off shuttle was spot on, great ride in a comfortable and new mini van, with water provided. Bed was very comfortable. Shower amaazing. Too bad we did not get to enjoy their breakfast as our plane departed at 05:00 am. They did provide a boxed breakfast at 02:30 am.

The lobby bar service was not very efficient. To their defense, hotel had 3 events that night, including a wedding, which we loved to see what locals wear at funcrions. However we had to wait 1.5 hours for a philly cheesesteak sandwich. I believe the waitress did not realise someone else had taken our order, and so the food had been sitring in the kitchen for too long. When we got the sandwich, it was very cold and the fries had bexome soggy. I wish they had remedied this better.

I have stayed here many times. I usually mix it up between 2 or 3 hotels in this area. It is very close to the airport and on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway which I use a few times a year. The hotel is very clean and spacious with a lovely selection of foods for breakfast and lovely food for dinner. Beds are very comfortable as is the whole room. Staff are very helpful and most kind. If you want to stay near the airport I highly recommend this hotel. It is a great option to choose for a fantastic night's sleep and stay.

Meals are a little expensive for Nairobi from my experiences of coming to Nairobi for 14 years and staying in hotels. However, everything has gone up in Kenya as other hotels I've stayed at recently have similar meal prices.
