The location is perfect for being close to the airport. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was wonderful. At other places, we had to pay extra for special coffees. Not at this hotel, which was so delicious. For our last night, we stayed at another hotel that we quickly regretted as soon as we arrived. If you are looking for a place that is convenient to the airport, offers airport transport, and the option of a delicious breakfast, this would be a great choice. There is nothing outside the hotel property, which was not a problem for us. We were in Kenya for a safari so we did not stay here for the opportunity to explore the area. To be honest, I would absolutely pay the extra charge to fly from Nairobi to a specific safari location. The ride to the safari area/s are long, rough, and take time away from seeing the beauty of the country. We certainly hope to return and we would certainly use this hotel as a point for a quick overnight to prepare for or returning to the airport. Lastly, the staff was absolutely wonderful.

The hotel common areas and rooms are comfortable and lovely. Location is handy to the airport and the shuttle is excellent. We had not pre booked the shuttle but on arrival an airport staff member called the hotel for us and a charming woman named Maggie was there to pick us up very quickly. Breakfast was great.

There is some street noise but not enough to keep us awake and we’re light sleepers. The pool area is small and doesn’t have enough places to sit. Food in the bar was expensive and not great. No places to eat in the immediate area outside of the hotel.

I am so glad we opted for Argyle as a choice close to the airport. The best hotel welcome, greeted by a hot lavender steaming towellette in the lobby, to a beautifuly appointed comfortable room, with high end ammennities. Airport drop off shuttle was spot on, great ride in a comfortable and new mini van, with water provided. Bed was very comfortable. Shower amaazing. Too bad we did not get to enjoy their breakfast as our plane departed at 05:00 am. They did provide a boxed breakfast at 02:30 am.

The lobby bar service was not very efficient. To their defense, hotel had 3 events that night, including a wedding, which we loved to see what locals wear at funcrions. However we had to wait 1.5 hours for a philly cheesesteak sandwich. I believe the waitress did not realise someone else had taken our order, and so the food had been sitring in the kitchen for too long. When we got the sandwich, it was very cold and the fries had bexome soggy. I wish they had remedied this better.

I have stayed here many times. I usually mix it up between 2 or 3 hotels in this area. It is very close to the airport and on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway which I use a few times a year. The hotel is very clean and spacious with a lovely selection of foods for breakfast and lovely food for dinner. Beds are very comfortable as is the whole room. Staff are very helpful and most kind. If you want to stay near the airport I highly recommend this hotel. It is a great option to choose for a fantastic night's sleep and stay.

Meals are a little expensive for Nairobi from my experiences of coming to Nairobi for 14 years and staying in hotels. However, everything has gone up in Kenya as other hotels I've stayed at recently have similar meal prices.

Location was great! Very close to the airport. - Rooms were large and spacious and super clean, the shower was excellent too. - The grounds of the hotel were stunning, very well kept. -Check in staff were lovely too. - the hotel allowed us to extend our checkout to 8pm as our flight was in the evening for a good price. - the hotel allowed us to check in early as our flight arrived early. - free airport transfer after checking out

- For a 5 star hotel the breakfast wasn’t quite up to standard in my opinion, a little basic. - Had arranged an airport pickup upon my arrival and no one came so I had to get my own Uber and when in a brand new country not knowing where to go that was quite stressful. - Phone in the room often didn’t work so god forbid there was an emergency. - waiting staff were a little abrupt at times. - WiFi wasn’t great at all, it kept disconnecting for us. - service in the restaurant was painfully slow so better to go with the buffet option as at least you’ll get to eat quicker!

I have stayed at the Argyle twice in the past two weeks and on both occasions, I had to stress about the shuttle going from the hotel to the airport. You order the shuttle and expect that they will be ready at that time. They are not on schedule. It is when you arrive at the desk to leave that they call for the shuttle. The first time this happened, I waited long enough that I actually called a taxi and the shuttle arrived just a minute ahead of the taxi. I made my flight just in time. The second time did not take as long but still it was after I arrived at the desk that the shuttle was called. There is the need to improve this. Apart from this, everything is perfect.

New building. Personnel are very attentive and willing to help. Excellent impression. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated with top-of-the-line lighting controls.

The WiFI on the conference rooms was unreliable and had insufficient bandwidth. Our event had 40 people attending and not all were connected to the internet, but the speed was so slow that the connection was useless ( most of the time we recorded 100kBps). Somehow, the situation improved in the subsequent days and we were told there was a redundant connection added. Management could probably adopt this solution on a permanent basis.

Brand new hotel, opened Dec23. Very close to Nairobi Airport, only top 2 floors were for sale when we arrived in Jan 24, other floors were almost complete. Beautifully appointed bedrooms with luxury bathrooms and very comfortable beds. No noise from airport or road traffic, despite busy area. Staff are well trained, catered for our every request. Meals and drinks in the restaurant & bars were of great quality - good range of options at the breakfast buffet and lovely dinner options. Pool gets cleaned every night. There's a lovely feel to this hotel with delightful African decor. We received complimentary airport transfers in private car.

Staff, outside, except reception were very good. Hotel is new amd vrry nice.

First stay, we and anorher passenger were told to sit and we would be told when shuttle arrived. It left without us and person on reception blamed us. On our most recent stay. The shuttle was not there as promised. We waited a long time. Every other hotel van had left and we were the only couple left. We then had to hire a taxi. Reception then claimed the shuttle was waiting for us. It seemed to my wife and I that they didn't care in the least. The next night we called reception numerous times to have laundry picked up, but the phone was never answered. Later we called to arrange an airport shuttle, but again no one answered. I went down to the desk and was able to arrange the shuttle. We had no issue with the shuttle this time.

Although relativity short, our stay at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi was nothing short of fantastic. After seeing photos prior to our stay, we were shocked at the facilities upon our arrival. Stay could not do enough to help, providing a comprehensive overview of services offered, and locations within the hotel and grounds before escorting our luggage to our room. The room itself was impeccably presented with all required amenities, and lighting and electronics centrally controlled throughout the room. Food and beverage options are extensive and very reasonable given the calibre of the hotel. Finally the airport shuttle service offered by the hotel is extremely convenient and highly professional, with a formally dressed driver awaiting at the Arrivals terminal ready to transfer luggage to the awaiting, and extremely spacious car.
