I love the location because it's in close proximity to my meeting venue at the U.N., so this location is a perfect fit for me in terms of distance. The staff is always very nice, friendly and accommodating to the needs of all guests. Taxis and Ubers are readily available and just a phone call away if needed. The hotel is close to 3 major malls, shopping areas and places to eat. My room was comfortable, and the staff cleaned every day. They ensured my towels and the complementary water were replenished daily. Hot breakfast is available daily- there are no meat options due to the religious reasons of the owner. A chef is there and made me omelets daily and there are fruits, juices, tea and coffee available. Overall, my stay was enjoyable.

Hi am jane,breakfast was good i had no problem,the location was perfect it suited where i had an appointment but the BED IT WAS A NIGHT MARE.The bed was made of spring i was not comfortable at all and it was very low .The bathroom machine was not working i took shower with cold water .

Just the bed and bath room.The rest was oky .i would suggest please cheng the bed i was seriously not comfortable at all.The sorrounding was oky and the staff were very helpful .The staff of Gigiri hotel are very respectiful and very kind.i will come back again

This hotel is ideally located just across the street from the UN Compound, and right next to a 24/7 grocery store and a delicious Lebanese restaurant, which makes its location ideal for those who are on mission to the UN in Nairobi. The hotel itself is very clean, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom has hot water, and and the staff are really helpful. It’s a practical place with a great value for money!

The rooms don’t have ACs but the hotel provides a standing fan that does the job perfectly. The breakfast had limited choices but is good if you just want a quick coffee and a small bite. Anyway there’s a coffee shop right next to the hotel if needed.

The staff are great; friendly and helpful, happy people. The breakfast was decent. The location was quite convenient and safe for my activities. My room was Ok. I was provided for enough drinking water: 2 L.

THe cleaning is not precise. The stairs were clearly dirty always. Under the bed and some surfaces in the room were dusty. The cleaner would leave specks of dirt and hairs (not mine) behind in their cleaning.

We stayed for a night and honestly, we did not expect the room will be spacious enough for 3 of us. The amenities are well equipped, standing fan, AC, thermos, water heater, hair dryer, etc. Location wise, good for us bcs it was near with embassies and eateries. Village Market mall also nearby. Very convenient.

However, the reason I could not give full marks for the hotel, is the lack of minor maintenance. The toilet bowl seat/lid was broken and the safe box not functioning. Something they should pay attention to. The rest is fine.

The room was clean, well arranged and Comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious with many options. Availibility of catter, coffee, tea and sugar inside the room was awsome. It is also worth mentioning that the staff was welcoming and supportive

There were no open shoes for the room to use one using rest room and bath. Imagine one someone comes with boot, it is really anoying to get this facilities bare footed.

It is a very well located budget-friendly hotel for anyone going to the United Nations Office in Nairobi. It is not a business-class hotel but it is okay. Clean and safe. The bed was comfortable and all amenities were provided

The main downsides are that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, the breakfast options are very limited and it is located quite far from the city centre.

Very conveniently located for work and meetings at the UN, safe to walk there anytime of day. Amazing breakfast with friendly and helpful staff. Overall good value for money and convenience.

Overall decent but simple. All the basics are covered, no more. A bedside lamp would be a great addition. Wifi not always reliable but overall good.

Perfect location for travellers who would have meetings at the Gigiri UN compounds. There are some places to eat nearby; even the hospital. You can go to village market for more options. All your needs could be found within walking distance.

There are a lot of construction works on the main road. It is dusty, bring your masker!
