€15 car park charge - high charge for 12 hours €3 per person city tax - no explanation as to what this is Room was a little warm On checking in we were asked to pay for our room, however we had already done this via booking.com. To begin with the gentleman checking us in was adamant we had to pay so I showed him the payment receipt on the booking.com app, he continued to say that the room still needed to be paid for. Luckily I also had a physical receipt of the payment with me so I handed this too him and eventually a colleague came over and said not to take payment from us and that they would contact booking.com and have the payment released to them.

Ample parking but at a cost, pay to park in city expected but not on an industrial area, especially not 15 euros. Breakfast was ample choice, but a lot of flies in the dining area in the atrium. Room was comfortable. Good link to tram service into city center

A lot of flies in breakfast area. Need better steps or a lift from carpark to reception, area outside of reception full of cars when we arrived, and remained full throughout our time at reception desk to check in, no one else in reception area or the entrance lobby.

Comfortable, clean & quiet room with air conditioning, good variety & plenty of space for breakfast. Friendly staff. Conveniently located for Motorways between Coast & Brussels (outside central parking zone).

Entry into the hotel wasn't that easy, partially caused by roadworks on 'The Loop'. The Loop itself seems to take ages to get out of given how close you are to the motorway. There is a tram stop locally should you wish to visit Gent centre but hotel not centrally sited.

If you travel by car the hotel have lots of available parking space, parking fee is €15 per night. The staff were nice, accomodating and attentive. The location is convenient as well because there is a tram (T1) nearby that goes directly to the city center. Also, it is just beside Ikea.

The bathtub that we had had some rust and falling pieces from under the faucet. Low water pressure on the shower head.

Easy going and accommodating staff who were also great with communicating prior to arrival. Simple request of having a bicycle in the room, quickly messaged back allowing this but also offering difference options. On arrival they were courteous and friendly. I felt very welcome here.

On the whole, all was very clean and rooms were modern-enough, some elements of the bathroom felt a bit dated. This is me being particularly picky though.

Sofa bed for kids was incredibly uncomfortable and made the room very cramped. Asked for a quiet room, but we were surrounded by very noisy people which was unfortunate because the hotel wasn't busy so this request could have been accommodated by not putting us below or next door to others. Family of 4 booked the room, only provided with 3 towels

Breakfast and evening dinner were very good. Special mention for Burcu who looked after us during our evening dinner on 8th September and Sandy who looked after us during breakfast on 10/09/2023. The room was adequate although I did upgrade and perhaps expected something a little better.

I do not like to pay for car parking - it is a pity that there was a charge of €7.50 per night for Friday and Saturday night (would have been €15.00 per night on other nights. The hotel is looking a little tired and needs to be updated and refreshed.

Room was ok, breakfast bar was very good and there was a lot of parking spaces available. The staff was very helpfull when I had problems with my parking ticket and late check out was not a problem.

Room was rather warm at night and we had to use the airco (it was begin of April), there was a constant humming noise, even without the airco, but it did not disturb sleeping. The double bed we had did dip in the middle but again, it was not too bad.

The receptionist was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. I wish I'd got her name. She really was exemplary. We had no idea that the hotel was next to the tram station so that was an unexpected surprise. The receptionist explained to us where to go, giving us guide books, maps and even selling us tram tickets. Couldnt have been more helpful. It was great value considering parking and breakfast was included in the price that we paid. All the staff were very friendly and it was a great hotel.

The loop! Trying to get to the hotel was very difficult. An as vegans, my husband and I didn't have many breakfast options, this could definitely have been improved.

The hotel itself & rooms were clean & comfortable Good facilities in the room but would suggest milk sachets/cartons for tea rather than coffee creamer Always good to see an electric socket near to the mirror :)

The external appearance of the hotel/car park is awful, seriously needs some work to make it more inviting/appealing, we nearly turned away. Menu choice for dinner is limited and expensive
