Very supportive staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

Depending on flight schedule, hotel might be difficult to reach. No bus shuttle after 22:30 available. In the morning first shuttle leaves at 07:30.

One of the most bang for your buck hotel if you're flying to Narita Airport. Cheap prices along with great facilities, a bathtub, friendly staffs to help you out even if you don't really speak Japanese. I've stayed here more than 10 times and would continue to stay here whenever I visit Japan.

Room was surprisingly large, beds were pretty comfortable, the breakfast was great, and shuttle to airport was awesome. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but there was a very large tour group from another country there when we were and every one was extremely rude. At breakfast, I had set my tray down at a table with no one around & let my daughter know where to sit while I went for coffee. When I returned not 2 minutes later, a large family had sat down in our spot & then had the nerve to tell me to move! They were rude to staff as well.

It's very good at a very reasonable price for what it is which is a layover hotel. Check in was quick and efficient with self service machine that had an English option. You put your passport in and it spits out a room key. Amenities are freely available to take. The room itself is a bit dated but clean. They give you all the soaps you need and pyjamas (all japanese hotels do this). Internet is strong. Not a lot of food options at night but there is a convenience store by the lobby and also a vending machine. Some instant noodles in the machine are also in the kombini with the same price. I wished I could have stayed for the included breakfast as it did look good but I had a flight to catch. The shuttle bus was very convenient and it's available in the early mornings we took one at 5am. You have to book it in with a QR code but it's free and there's staff with good English at front desk to help out.

These bed might be a bit hard for Western standards. But I can confirm beds in Japan don't seem to be soft in general. At least in budget hotels.

I love how the staff are very approachable and kind. When I asked them regarding the room and the airport bus timetable, they responded immediately. The hotel staff can also speak English which is a big help. In the front desk, there are 2 machines that can be used for checking in and checking out. It can be operated by choosing your preferred language. There is also a free shuttle bus that goes to and from the airport on a scheduled basis. The room that was given to us was very spacious for a family of 3. We also got 3 beds which made it more comfortable.

This hotel is huge, and what I love about the hotel is the amenities you can use, such as their laundry room, gym, vending machine room (Asahi Beer is really good!), microwave, and items to rent (such as ironing board, fans, reading lamp, etc.). I never had an issue with this hotel at all. Also, they also give you a timetable on what time the bus arrives to take you to the Narita Airport or to the AEON Mall. Housekeeping service is good as well. I normally like to give my trash to them or towels to them rather than them coming into the room. However, they always made sure my room is ready when I returned from my travels in and far away from Tokyo. Front desk has been helpful with my needs. Also, they have a convenient store in their hotel, which is a major plus in my book. Anyway, my hotel room is spacious, and it came with a mini-fridge, coat hangers, air freshener (for clothes), air conditioner, and a mini-clothesliner (well, not sure what that thing was called, but I used it to air dry my socks, boxers, and tank tops). Overall, this hotel is awesome in my book.

Nothing really. Everything is great in my book.

Big room, water pressure and temperature good, no bad smells. Good blackout curtains. Quiet. Lots of amenities to rent like fans. Vending and microwaves on every floor. Convenience store open most of the time and well stocked. Walking distance to a 7-Eleven. Very firm beds and pillows.

A/C sometimes didn't cool very much, seemed to get warm in the late evening and cold overnight. The laundry room dryers took 2 hours for a small load to dry.

The room and the breakfast was ok... The hotel staffs were so friendly ... Free shuttle to airport and city... and back ... it was excellent... It was so convenient... !!! Simply Loved it... Thank you Narita Gateway Hotel ......

The room and the breakfast was ok... But the breakfast could have slightly more variety .... still it was ok .... The bed could have been soft-ier ... the blanket could have been thicker ... it was cold... Also, I could've asked for another blanket ... But I did not ... Not your Fault..... There could be separate smoking room as there were many smokers in the lobby ... Still... it was ok...

The shuttle bus was really convenient as it made frequent trips to and from the hotel and Narita airport. There's a convenience store located near the hotel entrance that accepts VISA and other major bank cards, which was super handy as we came straight from the airport without any cash. The carbonara from the convenience store is a must-try!

The hotel is in a pretty isolated area. It felt a bit dangerous walking to places from there as we had to walk on roads with cars driving right by as there are no footpaths till a bit further away. Places were a distant walk away. There's not much to see or do in Narita but this a great place to stay if just stopping by before or after a flight.

Excellent free shuttle bus service to both airport and train station. Easy check in/checkout. The beds and pillows were harder than I'm used to but was very clean. No coffee making equipment in the room either but the shower was powerful albeit a little dated. The breakfast area overlooked a beautiful garden with huge koi in the lake. Excellent value for money breakfast too, with tasty, extensive buffet menu.

We couldn't make coffee in our room. And the beds and pillows were a bit firm.
