Rooms were clean and comfortable

The clerk at the desk had so much cologne on it gave me a instant headache. It was disgusting, I get wearing a small amount but this guy was soaked in it. The whole lobby stunk. When we came down to go for dinner it was a wall of scent and we were not close to the desk. From the stairs to the door. 🤮 A little consideration to those with scent allergies or sensitivities. Others in my travel group mentioned it too The elevator was still down. The email when I booked stated it would be down in November I figured it should be fine by mid December that's lots of time. So I didn't make arrangements for cancel No update message and no elevator working.

We stayed there before. We enjoyed the stay there compared to others we stayed at. Which is why we went back. They have nice staff. The breakfast staff was amazing with help when needed and put out a fresh spread.

Just the pool is a little small when there are lots of kids but it was prime season. But did not keep us away as it is economical and nice place

Quit area lots of restaurants nearby shopping 10 minutes to downtown.

The breakfast could have been a bit more of a selection. The 4pm check in is kind of late and then you have to check out at 11am. Tried to check in a little earlier but the lady at the desk said I would be charged for early check in. So I cam back later, never had a chance to use the pool. Next time.

Front desk personnel had poor customer service skills. Very poor service received. I came back to give my feedback on the bad experience I had with a two front staff members and how awesome, kind, and professional the manager was in providing redress. The manager listened, showed empathy, and provided redress without throwing her team under the bus. She understood that the staff exercised a poor situational judgement and would address it in their team meeting. Overall, she rectified the situation with tact and understanding.

I had 4 nights stay in Best Western Airport Inn in July 2023. The room was clean. Their service was fast. Their breakfast was delicious. Their wonderful staff impressed me the most. Especially, Moe helps me jump start my car when my battery was dead on my check out morning. He is such a wonderful and warm hearted person who works in the kitchen. This is even not part of his job. Thank you so much, Moe, if you have a chance to read this. I wish you and the hotel all the best. Den, from the room services, is also very nice and kind. He makes sure my room get the service in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who need a stay in Calgary.

The breakfast was fantastic. The room was big. Beds were fantastic. Loved the shower it was a glassed in shower with no tub.

The room numbers are a little weird at least on the 3rd floor. They don't go in order. Pool and hot tub were closed because Calgary had a big water main break before our stay, and conservering water was a must. I wish we had be informed, but only learned about it at check in.

1. Furniture in room: Nightstand held together with packing tape wrapped around it Visible wooden wedges underneath edges of furniture to level and stabilize 2. As a solo traveler am displeased with being placed in a far off corner room, especially since booked well in advance. (2nd time this has happened to me recently)Single or not I have a right to be treated equally for paying the same price as a couple in a king room). 3. No screen in window.

Breakfast was very good it was included in the price and the variety was good enough wasn’t too much or too little. Location was quite and close to the Airport Parking was also included.

The property was old especially from the outside. Lobby/breakfast area was small. TV in the room was very basic didn’t have YouTube only few local channels

Hot breakfast was good. There was a pancake making machine, which I thought was cool, but I don't get out much. Staff were prompt to refill food dishes and condiments. The breakfast room wasn't too noisy. The pool was open until 10 pm.

The top stair up to the first floor was uneven.

The manager was great! She was very accommodating and friendly. We love how clean the room and the washrooms are.

There was load banging noises in the morning. We can hear the other rooms and some stomping from the top room. Everything was great except that the noises wakes us up early in the morning.
