Love this hotel three years and counting! Provides exceptional value and a consistent, reliable experience. Makes it easy to roll in after a long journey and know what to expect. Other hotels throughout Canada should pay attention to what this particular location is doing. - Pet friendly at no charge with no carpet in room: why can't all hotels do this? - Exceptionally good rate for this room with no special discounts. - Very clean. - Medium bar fridge and microwave in room make it easy to prepare and store own meals. - Convenient location off highway near gas stations and other amenities. - Multiple electrical plugs in room at an easy height to access. Again, why can't all hotels do this? Herb at the front desk is exceptionally good with client service: kind, genuine and knowledgeable! Great to see him again for the third year in a row. :)

Not a fault of the hotel, just a general note to visitors: the westbound highway off-ramp for this hotel and casino is particularly busy and life-threatening! It's quite a blind corner of traffic coming from the driver's left side when you try to turn left or right onto that road.

No carpets! So happy for that. The room was clean well done up. The breakfast was good, everything looked fresh, there was plenty. The breakfast area was very cleaned.

The mattress is done, the dents in the mattress are deep, a bit uncomfortable and unfortunately we forgot to mention this to the service desk. When entering the room we did not notice that the radio was set for 6:00 am buzzard and my husband can tell you the off button is not obvious in the dark. Then someone had a heavy foot at 7:00 am above our room. We were not impressed, I think it’s the first time all this happened and it also the first that we were ready to leave so early instead enjoying our stay to the last minute.

Very reasonable price: best of this trip for comparable rooms in other cities and provinces including same day cancellation. This is a rare combination! Great service from Herb at the front desk. Central location near highway. No carpet in room, which we greatly appreciate and wish more hotels / motels would do the same. Easy to access electrical plugs above the side tables. Medium-sized bar fridge and microwave in room. Have stayed here before and will happily stay here again! :)

Pet fee: this is a complaint we have about most hotels and motels. Seems particularly unnecessary when the room isn't carpeted and a certain level of cleanliness would be expected regardless of having a pet, child, both or neither.

We liked everything! The room provided everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent...hot things were hot, cold things were cold, coffee was ready, and a wonderful staff member was checking on everyone, making sure they were finding everything they needed, and showing people (me) how to use the waffle maker. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but she was there on our previous visit as well. She goes above and beyond for the hotel guests! The beds were comfortable to sleep on too.

If I had to find anything I didn't like, it would only be the fact that the heater in the room was noisy and hard to regulate. Every time it started through the night, it woke us up. Also, we found that we were either kicking off the blankets because we were too warm, or we were wishing there were more blankets because we were cold.

The location was excellent. I had an event at the casino next door. Could not be any better! Breakfast area was very clean. Food was good. Front desk and kitchen staff were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. I always enjoy the consistency at each location knowing the beds will be comfortable and rooms clean. I didn’t use the pool due to time, but it looked nice. I wasn’t there long enough to try the on site restaurant. There are fast food options very close by, so that was very handy!

The only “challenge” I had was turning left out of the property. It really wasn’t that challenging.

They gave a upgrade on our room without us asking for. That was fantastic. Room was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Service desk worker was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anybody. Was close to the casino where we were attending a concert. Our stay there made our outing enjoyable. Will go back if the service keeps that way.

I m not a very demanding person so to me when I get good service like I got I wouldn’t ask for to much more.

Great breakfast, my son (5) LOVED the pool which was open until 10pm so he went swimming twice. Very friendly staff, was easy to find and close to the zoo. Great value for money

We did find the room a little small for the 4 of us but we were only staying one night and it certainly served its purpose(2 adults and 2 children 5 and under). One bed was a little saggy but we just stuck the kids in it. The other bed was very comfortable.

Staff were very friendly especially the cleaning ladies.

One thing, one of the beds had a long hair on it. I have brown hair and it was a long pink hair. The other issue was the TV would not work if the lights were off. We had to get someone up to switch the plugs as we did not know.

There was a restaurant that was supposed to be open on Monday but when my husband and I went to eat there at 6 pm, there was nobody around. The doors were open but was no staff in the restaurant. We ended up walking down the street to eat at ihop.

Breakfast is good, accessible of everything, casino is accessible too. The swimmng pool is perfect for kids. We are comfortable in our stayed. Thank you very much.
