Nearness to major highways! The helpfulness of the staff from reception to cleaning staff! Lovely view from the breakfast room! The shampoo and especially the cream rinse in the dispensers in the shower were the best!

No light for two seater table in the room! Also no real closet! No real milk or cream for the room or at the reception desk! Also no tea!The Hotel sign should be replaced it’s really showing its age! The reception area could be made larger to have something like a communal area for guest just to get out of their rooms on a rainy day!

I loved the 60s style that has been somewhat preserved in the sunny breakfast dining room and foyer area. The beds were comfy, the king pet room was spacious and there's ample lawns to roam with pet or for stroll on sunny day. It was off the highway a bit, so quiet. Really close to the magnetic hill attractions which are nice to walk around even when closed. The free breakfast was welcome, and they used real cutlery and plates, and fresh fruit, which has been rare to find in recent hotel stays. The price was good for what you get at this hotel.

There's nothing I had a problem with actually.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is older and therefore the style is unique. We had large windows and great A/C. The TV in the room was larger than expected, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Overall a great stay, especially for the price compared to other hotels in the area.

The bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean. The wifi didn't really reach our room which wasn't a huge deal but a bit of an inconvenience.

It was in a good location. The rooms were updated and very clean. Breakfast was included and a decent variety. The front staff desk was very friendly and helpful, even let us check in early. The woman working the breakfast was also super friendly.

No extra blankets or pillows. The towels were thin and small and only 2 for 2 people for two nights. The Roku tv needs the ability to at least log in to your own streaming accounts.

I like that it's a smaller place with lots of character. We like that you can access the rooms from the outside and inside. The breakfast was very yummy with lots of options. It's just a nice place to stay. We also like that the breakfast was in the restaurant this time. Last time it was in the lobby and a bit crowded.

We didn't not like anything. The last time we stayed our only minor complaint (and only if we are being picky) was that the room was very small but the room this time was larger.

My wife had to have day surgery, and the time of day meant we needed a hotel for the night, and just in case we stayed an extra night. It was conveniently located and had amenities nearby. Breakfast was provided each morning, and the rates were in our budget.

Dated hotel gave off 'The Shining' vibes the hallways felt Iike I was walking on a funhouse type floor that bounced with each step. The breakfast dining area was freezing cold.

I wanted to book a place with an outdoor pool. It’s summer and I wanted to enjoy the weather. This pool was super clean! There were steps down in so that was nice too. Often people would come to check the water temperature and make plans to come after supper so my daughter and I had it for an hour to ourselves. Would come here again just for the pool! The location was perfect. We didn’t have to go in town at all. We came in off the highway, went to the IHOP for supper, which was 2 minutes away, there were many other options too, very close. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean! Staff was friendly too!

Access to the inside. There was a door off the restaurant on the second level. You can exit but you cannot enter. It would be nice if our room keys aloud entrance for better access and a second escape route, if ever required.

Room was modernly updated since last stay. Beds were much comfier than other places we’ve stayed and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff were great. Check in and check out we’re super quick and painless and the free breakfast was delicious. Something for everyone to choose from! Although we didn’t get a chance to hit the pool it looked equally as great. Can’t get a better location with McDonald’s and KFC across the road, it’s directly off the highway, the road to magic mountain and the zoo are beside it and there is also a gas station beside it as well.

The only “complaint”is the hours of the pool (10-8) which I’m sure were related to pool treatments and keeping the noise down for guests trying to settle down with younger kids earlier and allowing others to sleep in a bit. It would’ve been nice if it opened at 9 instead of 10 and maybe stayed open until 9 instead of 8 to give those that come later a chance to enjoy it as well. But that’s not a complaint just more of a suggestion!
