I really loved the staff! Always friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful! The rooms are always clean and the parking is easy. The pricing is reasonable too and it is a walkable distance from town center.

My only issue is the showers are a little hard to use without a mess. The first room I stayed in did not have a shower curtain and there was water everywhere. The second room was a master suite and it seemed like water seeped through the door somehow? The third room had a shower curtain but it didn’t stop the water from running out and didn’t do much in keeping the water in.

Our room was in the perfect location, not on the traffic side of the inn. It was quiet. Parking allowed us easy access to room. We were on the second floor, and there is no elevator, but stairway led directly to the rear of our (room/sliding glass door)-- so lugging bags upstairs was a minimal inconvenience. Each room has a little balcony with bistro set and champagne bucket. Beds were super comfy. There's a jacuzzi tub in each bathroom. Everything was clean and everything worked. Nothing was broken or out of service. It was charmingly decorated for the holidays. Coffee and pastries were served each morning of our stay (Fri, Sat, and Sunday). Coffee was weaker than I like, but hey, so what..?! Walk to town took less than 10 minutes. An easy walk, and it felt safe. Solvang is a place out-of-time. Stores close at 6PM. But there are plenty of fine eating and drinking establishment that stay open late. Staff at the inn could not have been nicer or more helpful. They consistently went the extra mile and the manager was a love -- so kind, welcoming and generous. This will be our go-to place. We plan to make visiting Solvang at Christmas-time a tradition.

Coffee could have been stronger for my taste.

room wasn’t easily accessible from parking lot. a bit of a walk down a hall up a staircase then through a door over a walkway then through another door then a long a walkway around a corner then a long another walkway to my room . just kinda of funky.,

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed here and we absolutely love it. We will definitely be coming back again. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are decently big and very clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. It is also in a great location. It is walking distance from all of downtown solvang so we didn’t even have to move our car to venture out. Its also extremely affordable.

The only mild annoyance came in the form of the wifi. It would make us sign in constantly. We could be sitting in the room and suddenly get booted and have to re login. The only other thing would be some of the chairs are old and very stained but that isn’t a big deal.

This was a great find in Solvang. Very good price, especially considering there was a pool, jacuzzi and also a whirlpool bath in the room. Surprise breakfast the next day which included danish pastries. An easy stroll into Solvang which is beautiful both daytime and night time, although be aware that a lot of places were over 21 only and eateries seemed to stop serving by 8pm. The hotel was really lovely, I would definitely stay here again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

My husband and I went to Solvang to celebrate his birthday. We chose Kronborg Inn without really knowing what to expect. When we got our room keys and got to our room boy were we surprised. The room was beautiful, the bathroom had a huge jacuzzi tub and all updated features. The room was so spacious and nicely decorated. All the staff were so pleasant. I highly recommend staying there.

Very comfortable bed and lots of storage space . Very quiet as well!

The coffee was not great otherwise great place 2 stay

The room was large, clean, a two person hot tub and bathroom shower. Excellent price for the room and convenient location to our destination. A lot of excellent food and wine locations nearby

The view was from our location was mediocre, but it didn’t bother us much as we spent most of our time visiting all the different wineries and restaurants nearby.

The Kronborg Inn kinda saved our trip. We had a very busy, & semi- stressful days leading up to stay there. We actually got waylaid due to road closures on Highway 1. Took us a while to get down there as a result. The staff was so friendly & accommodating, plus we liked the room & the pool so much, that we almost immediately decided to add an extra night to our stay. Pool was awesome. Staff was great. Room was great. The hotel had a really nice vibe, all around. This hotel was a beacon of light for us on this trip & I won't forget that.

The only issues we had during our stay were mainly with the internet. Had problems with the internet the entire time. Both of us. That was kinda frustrating. The staff explained that they were switching providers or something, which might be interrupting the signal. Idk. The shower had its issues. The handle was old, & pretty janky. Shower worked, but it needs a new handle, among other things. It was an old shower, in need of some updating. I also kept having trouble with the door keys. Usually one of them would stop working. It's possible they were touching something that wiped them. Not sure.

Very big and clean room. King size bed. Pool was clean and warm and right out the sliding glass door at the rear of the room, which was really convenient and nice. No soda machine. The check in staff was friendly and efficient. Literally a 5 min walk to downtown Solvang. My only real complaint is that my room and I assume the rooms that face the main road into town is EXTREMELY noisy at night and even worse early morning. No sleeping in. I would stay again but request a room in the center court or rear of the Inn.
