The hotel location was good, close to the lake with trails. It is pretty close to the downtown as well. The room was clean. The breakfast was good with some variety of food including sausages, bacon, potato, omelette, some fruits and bakery. The free parking is a big plus taking into account hotel proximity to downtown.

The room was booked for 3 persons, but the reservation included the breakfast inly for 2. Why the cost of the third breakfast was not included in price - not clear. The breakfast for 1 person is about $15 and we were asked to pay for our third person. The AC unit in the room was very loud, sounded like a tractor when it turned on.

We love everything. Except when I asked a question about the breakfast. The weekends before breakfast was paid for with the room . Jessica the young lady said you should've looked more carefully in a caddy way . This was a quick trip we usually stay longer . When I continued to ask about it she ignored me . I was tired and just wanted to go to my room . Otherwise it was nice and we love it . I did also ask about when I will get my deposit back from the previous stay and again she was rude .

I booked Premium King Room at this hotel in July/02-04 2025. I recommend this room to everyone because of wonderful lake view.The Lady in front desk was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Downtown distance is about less than 2 miles to this hotel that's why it's a perfect benefit for saving time in your visiting locations.

The TV's Channels is so boring and I think most is not cable channels. The other thing which I didn't like was parking because only work up to 5th. Floor and all the time was empty. That's why I didn't feel safe during park my car. Otherwise parking is not clean.

I’m from Austin but had a friend visit g so we wanted someplace fun downtown. I really struggled with paying more to stay somewhere ‘cool’ like the Van Zant vs a little further away at the Holiday Inn and I’m so glad we went with the old faithful. It had everything we needed-comfy beds-extra toiletries-riverfront view-FREE parking!!! I mean-that alone in Austin is worth it—and the best part is how easy it was to walk everywhere.

There’s an exit by the conference rooms that takes you right to the trail which was great but the key card doesn’t work to let you back in and you have to walk back around the front. Not a bid deal but it would’ve been nice it worked

The price and location is unbeat. The access to downtown and all key ares of Austin for me is excellent. There was no place I couldnt get to in just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in downtown in a relatively safe area that is also inexpensive.

The hotel is dated and the clientele can be a little sketchy but its a solid place to stay and excellent value for money. The staff is great and when the value is so good you will get all sorts of people staying in hotel.

The location (easy access to both I-35 and downtown Austin) was great and parking was included in the cost of the room. I appreciate the fact that this property does not charge resort fees. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The breakfast had long hours and a good selection. The pool was a nice bonus.

The pool could use some more seating and shade umbrellas. It was also difficult to find pool towels (they're in the laundry room).

The staff at just about every Holiday Inn are always nice and welcoming. Such a great view from the 11th floor. The pool is a good size and great to lounge. Around the side/back is a loading zone into the lady bird lake. Great for boats/kayaks.

There was a smell every time we in the lobby. Almost smelled of garbage/sewage. I know it’s hot and we are in Texas, but the 11th floor was so warm. Luckily the rooms have AC. Which in room 1134 has a ac unit that is loud when kicked on. Luckily I sleep with noise. Though I didn’t put notes for my stay for them to make sure the room was clean I wish I had. The shower had mold that I cleaned as best as I could. Just felt the room needed better cleaning. As well as the elevator areas.

The hotel offers free parking in a garage, making it an affordable option compared to other downtown hotels. It is within walking distance of downtown, popular Austin streets, parks, and the lake, and the breakfast, served until 11 AM, was a nice bonus.

The TV was small, and the hot shower didn’t work on the first day, possibly due to high usage. The curtains were long and heavy, making them difficult to open as they frequently got stuck, which was inconvenient.

Nice staff, comfortable beds, great view of lake in lake side room, wonderful location, free parking and decent breakfast. Read a little about loud AC or lack of water pressure. We had no issues and were on the top floor.. Loved being able to walk and run on the trails.

Could use a bit of updating, and the toilet ran a long time after flushing.

Friendly staff, free parking, fair pricing, comfortable bed, nice shower pressure, Dove brand bath product dispensers, large screen TV, available shuttle service within 2 mile radius, restaurant and bar.

Very tight parking lot, however attached parking garage easily accommodated overflow. Keurig coffee machine didn't work, took 2 days to get a replacement. Rusty towel bar in bathroom. Outdated rooms, i.e. lamps, carpet, furniture.
