The hotel has a great location — very close to Souq Al-Mubarakiya and the Grand Mosque. While the hotel itself is a bit old, there’s one reason that would make me book again, recommend it to friends, or give it a high rating: the exceptional service and warm welcome from Mina. Mina was attentive to even the smallest details and requests, making my overall experience truly excellent. The rest of the staff were also kind and helpful, but I’m adding an extra star to my rating just because of Mina. He’s a true asset to the hotel, and I congratulate the management for having such an outstanding team member. If I were to rate Mina personally, I’d give him 7 stars for his professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care. I would also like to thank the staff member who delivered my requests to the room — he was always prompt and courteous.

Some times cleaner did not clean well I only liked when Mary or Maria cleaned because was super good otherwise I will rate cleaning 4/10

Very safe and central location within walking distance from the Grand Mosque, Souk Al-Mubarakiya, coffee places, small restaurants and ATMs. Also only a few minutes by taxi to the Kuwait Towers and sea front. Tea, coffee and bottled water available in the bedroom. Spacious, quiet room with a great view of the city. Very friendly, professional staff who will do their utmost to cater for all your needs (wake-up calls, taxi bookings, late check-out, airport transfers). As a woman travelling to Kuwait for the first time, they made me feel very safe - a huge thank you to the the whole staff team at Oasis Hotel!

Location was great. Never any issue getting a taxi, local buses stop nearby too and it's within walking distance of a few of the attractions. The staff were able to organise anything for me, fresh water every day and the room itself was very clean and cosy. There's a few places nearby to buy snacks and fresh food too.

Nothing really, the hotel was good. I would stay again. There is some construction work happening outside the hotel although this didn't interfere with my stay at all (no noise as it doesn't appear to be heavy work), but it does mean the underpass immediately outside the front entrance, which is noted on Google maps is currently closed.

Great Stay with a Convenient Location and Excellent Service I recently stayed here and was really impressed by how well-located the property is. It’s close to many key spots—Al Mubarakiya Souk is just a few minutes away, and there are several coffee shops nearby. You’ll also find a McDonald’s and a small supermarket within walking distance, which is super handy. The room and bathroom were both very clean, which made a great first impression. I was fortunate to have a stunning city view, which added a lot to the experience, especially in the evenings. One of the standout features was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. I didn’t try the food at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that part. Taxis were easy to find, which made getting around the city hassle-free.

The hotel was honestly amazing, when you walk in the reception give you a warm welcome and check in is does pretty swiftly and the rooms are exactly as shown with a good view and comfortable beds. The staff made it nice and friendly stay offering their services at all times and overall making it quite a smooth experience. The location is quite good, it was 43 when we went so harder to walk but souk mubarikiya is a 6/7 min walk and the grand mosque is 8/9 min walk.

Not many flaws, the rooms are slightly worn out but didn’t make an impact for us.

Rooms: all you could wish for in basic comfort - bed is comfortable, bathroom spacious enough. No lock but who cares. Window can open! Love the fresh air! Fridge, table, chair all equipped in the room. Location: isn’t this something you choose yourself and therefore can never complain about? Anyway, easy to reach nearby places by foot. Bit of a struggle for taxi and delivery guys but that ain’t the hotel’s fault. Cleanliness; I have not seen bedbugs, cockroaches or other insects so I’d say good! (bathroom could be a bit better though but nothing terrible…) Staff: cleaning staff is so friendly, they definitely deserve a raise for their hard work! Reception during the day are all smiling and accommodating but not helpful when it comes to questions sometimes. At night time, the star of the hotel, Mr. Mina is at your service. If this man has not received an award or promotion to Operations Manager, I doubt what the hotel is waiting for. I have never encountered someone so friendly, accommodating, respectful and cheerful at night time in +10 years of hotel experience as I work in the same industry myself. Well done!!! 👏

I was skeptic when booking the hotel due to some negative reviews but honestly, y’all might expect 5 star hotel service for 3 star hotel price. Additionally, give the day shift staff some training in how to reply to messages on Booking.com. If I ask for laundry service price in advance and get a reply “ it is in your room “ it is not helpful at all. (It was not in the room either so guess we will never know….)

We came around 12 midnight in the hotel and we wondering Mr. Mina Soo gentle man talking to us and helps us alot for Soo many ways and we saw other Turkish people they in hotel also they are thankful to him alot because of he's way and the professional attitude . Hotel is in downtown and perfect location clean and tidy I really grearful to this attentive person Mina he very respectful professional and lovely amazing character with full great performance as an employee in reception many many thanks to Mina the only one who makes all we need and provide an excellent services for us I see Mina number 1

I really liked the accommodation in terms of the view from the window, the location and the cleanliness - every day we returned to a clean room with a made bed and a new bottle of water. The receptionist had no problem with early check-in and late check-out in the middle of the night. The staff also heated my meal without any problems after a prior request.

I didn't like the smell in the bathroom. It made it impossible to stay in this room normally. Also the duvet was cold, so it was impossible to warm up under it. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning in the room - you could only turn on the cold fan.

The staff spoke good English, was attentive and helpful. I had a great stay, the sights like Souk Al-Moubarakya, the Liberation Tower and the Great Mosque were just in walking distance from the hotel. There were 2 bus stops next door to the hotel. I enjoyed good sleep because of a super comfortable bed and pillows filled with real feathers. The lighting of the room was harmonic and had style. The bathroom had organic liquid soap and shampoo.

I expected a full bathroom kit in the bathroom. The room was a bit cold, I tried setting the AC system to "heat" but it did not woek.

The location near the souqs was ideal for walking the evening away and getting dinner. It was also close to the central bus station, which is a half hour by bus from the airport. Saves a lot of money. So, convenient. Although I would get a short cab ride from the station. It's a lot (1/3 of a mile, half a kilometer) to get your luggage through in the heat. Nothing in Kuwait City is really central, so use of cabs is a necessity. The drivers there are pretty good and understand English reasonably well. The area in front of the hotel is being worked on. There will be an underpass later and it should be reasonably nice. Right now I didn't notice any major construction noise. The gents at the front table are very friendly and will help you with whatever request.

There are a lot of sights closed or under repair in Kuwait City. This has NOTHING to do with the hotel, of course. They were also precious few options other than the souqs for food, etc. Even the souqs were mainly for gold, perfume, watches--not for food. Also not the fault of the hotel.
