This hotel is in a good location for visiting Vilnius, right by the old City Gate. The staff was lovely and welcoming and our suite was nice and spacious. It had a table and chairs outside for relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea. The bed itself was comfortable, although the bottom sheet barely fit over the mattress, which made for some tossing and turning. This seems to be the case in many Baltic and Scandinavian hotels, as if they all moved over to larger beds and then kept the old sheets.

The breakfast could really use improving. The scrambled eggs are overcooked and hard and the bread is mostly of the Wonderbread variety, or those hard rolls with no flavor. There was something that vaguely resembled rye bread, but again, no flavor at all. Not a croissant in site. The cereals were all sugary as were the yogurts. There was one lone pint container of natural yogurt, almost empty by the time we got to it. Thankfully, there were some cheese slices and tomatoes and cucumber aswell, and the cottage cheese was good. All in all, slim pickings though. The bathtub had one of those curtain liners that stick to you when you’re showering, and (my own pet peeve) the grout in the tub was black in spots, and needed a good scrub.

I really loved the place, the area and the staff. The room is very cosy and clean. I was lucky to get it on the fourth floor and had a very sudden view onto the sky, cause I had a window in the ceiling 😃 there is a hair dryer in the bathroom, that is also a plus! Even I was staying there 2 night, the next day they took out the trash and changed the towel for feet, that was nice 😊

What I didn’t really like is how well you can hear your neighbours, I don’t think there were talking loudly, these were just the walls - I guess very thin. If I could speak their language, I would understand clearly what they were discussing 😅

It was my third stay in this hotel. This time I find the stay as perfect thanks to a very nice and professional receptionist Anna. She was very kind, helpful and on top of that she spoke fluent Polish, which is not so obvious in this hotel. The hotel provides a very clean and comfortable accommodation. Breakfasts are also very good there. Parking is available free of charge. The location is most suitable for us at the Gate of Dawn.

The entry and the exit from the parking place is a bit difficult due to a bumpy road.

The staff was fantastic! When I realized that my debit card was missing, they were patient and supportive as I contacted my bank (in a different time zone) and arranged other methods of payment. Much appreciated!! The daily breakfast was plentiful and filling. : ) The location was also great - right across the street from the Old Town but no way near as noisy or crowded.

I wish there had been shades or curtains on the windows. The room was private enough (it was on the top floor,) but there was no blocking the morning sun. Also, a sauna was advertised but there was none on the property.

Excellent location near the Old Town area, the train station, and the bus station.

The hotel was a little difficult to find because Google Maps kept walking me through an indoor market area that was two buildings down from the hotel. Once you're on the sidewalk and see the given address on a building with the indoor market to your right, go to your left and you will see the hotel as a separate building. The hotel is offset from the sidewalk due to a small parking lot in front of it.

Everything went well.The breakfast was ample and good including both hot and cold stuff.The location is great,just take a right to the "the gates of dawn" Ausros located only a few metres away and that's where the historic city trail starts.The room was clean and that's enough for me, but in addition it was cosy and a relief when coming back from the cold outdoors,the shower was good with hot water supplied immediately also through good pressure and I also enjoyed strong free wifi and an easy-to-operate TV. Room was quiet as well and reached through a good passenger lift.

Honestly.I cannot complain.

Heated bathroom floor and towel warmer, A/C, breakfast and coffee good, table and chairs in room, clean, nice building, water cooler, hold luggage after check-out.

Ran out of clean towels, towels thin and small, no hair conditioner, pillows too soft, breakfast attendant not friendly or interactive but did a good job maintaining breakfast items and tables.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, as it is opposite the Gate of Dawn. The breakfast was delightful with many options available to suit anyone's need. The breakfast room interior was decorated such that you felt like being at home. Also, the many window's allowed the sun and a lovely view of the courtyard. The woman taking care of the breakfast area watched over everything with the care of a mother in her own home.

That I didn't make my stay a longer one!

The room for three was clean and comfortable. There is a kettle and a refrigerator. It's warm in cold weather (only the heating in the room was turned off at the time of arrival). Wifi works well. The TV has enough channels. Breakfast is enough to fill you up in the morning. Parking is available not only in front of the entrance, but also in the courtyard (you can ask directions at the reception). There is a cooler with drinking water in the corridor (free of charge). You can buy some snakes.

The curtains do not allow complete blackout and in the morning the light came straight into the eyes. The bathtube is slippery, I got a bruise.
