I loved the location of the hotel. I was there on a personal pilgrimage with my older mother to the Gate of Dawn and it was just a few minutes away. It was also wonderful to take the bus 88 from the airport which took only 18 minutes and literally stopped on the outside of the gate. It costs also only .90 cents. The woman at the reception who was there the whole week was so helpful and lovely and always acknowledged us. I also appreciate that she went in the back to find yet another umbrella for us on a very rainy day. We also had pleasant conversations with the staff in the breakfast room and the breakfast was good as well. I would definitely come back to the hotel.

It was getting a little colder in the first week of October and the central heating wasn't on yet, but luckily it didn't get too bad. Also, the tv is a little useless. It had only one channel in English which worked for first two days, the rest of the time it basically didn't work. It would have been lovely if it was a smart tv and one could've logged in to netflix or such. As I was with an older mother, we didn't leave the hotel in the evenings and it would've been nice to see a movie or something on a bigger screen than my phone :-)

Excellent location in the heart of the old town but also close to train station and airport. Staff were friendly and I appreciated being able to check in late at night after an evening flight and being able to come and go with 24 hour reception.

The corridors were a good temperature but the room itself was very warm, especially at night, and the church bells were very loud in the mornings because I had to have the windows open to be a comfortable temperature. The heated towel rail in the bathroom is a lovely feature but far too hot in that weather and couldn’t be turned off.

Great location, right in the center of the old town and yet private parking available (paid). The building moved away from the street so it is extremely quiet day and night. Breakfast quite basic but sufficient. Room quite large with comfortable beds, bathroom ok.

Not very significant drawbacks, but maybe important to someone: no air-conditioning, the bathroom lacks a shelf or at least hooks on which to hang clothes while showering, a no-entry sign on the only access street to the hotel so in fact you have to break the rules to get there.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We chose the hotel and liked this stay for the same reasons - comfort, cleanliness and great location in the historic part of the town. We also appreciated the interior which features pictures and reproductions of Vilnius from historic books. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice and helpful.

It appears that many hotels around Vilnius, including this one, now have an additional parking fee for private parking if you come by car (as compared to a couple years ago), so take this into account. The stay itself was great and we liked everything.

This hotel is a little gem in the heart of a beautiful city. It is located in the old city within walking distance to all that the city has to offer and just far enough away to be quiet. The building itself has an amazing history and you do get to experience that energy in it's modern form as a hotel. Staff were great, nothing was a problem and they were always helpful day and night. The rooms were definitely more than fine for us and we would recommend this hotel. Plus with this hotel having lots of charm and history it was a great place to stay that is perfectly matched for a city as beautiful as Vilnius. If I ever get the chance to get back to Vilnius this hotel will be my choice again.

The hotel is located just within the old city walls in a former Carmelite friary, next to the church of St Teresa with which the friary was associated; the hotel rooms are located around a courtyard behind the church. It has been sympathetically converted and retains something of a monastic ambience. The room and bed were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Being within the old town walls, it's only a few minutes' walk to the old town itself. The location is excellent, the hotel and rooms charming, and it is very good value for money. We look forward to staying there again when we next visit Vilnius! It is a short walk of about 15 minutes to get to Vilnius train station.

There was nothing not to like about this delightful hotel.

The location was perfect for us and the places we needed to visit. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and cheerful. We were given an upgrade to a very pleasant room, with spare pillows and a small seating area. Efficient lift, plenty of hot water, spacious shower. Housekeeping was very efficient. A luggage room for early arrivals or late departures.

Slightly disconcerting to not be able to flush toilet paper away in our room, despite the fact that the room was quite recently refurbished. Noise travels from nearby rooms so that, although the hotel is in a very quiet area, there were some guests who seemed unaware of their loud voices and footsteps. The breakfast was quite basic but it was fresh with decent coffee.

The hotel is within an historic complex of buildings which was previously a convent. It is adjacent to St Teresa’s church which was completed in 1650 and is a fine example of Baroque architecture. The church leads on to the Gate of Dawn which is above an archway through the medieval city wall. Domas Maria is an ideal location from which to explore the Old Town and the wider city centre. We did a two hour “walking tour by locals” guided walk to hear about the history of the city. That was highly informative and entertaining. It sets off from the front of the Town Hall which is a 5 minute walk from Domas Maria.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, near the heart of the old town, and all the main sightseeing objects are within walking distance. The staff was very hospitable and friendly, and the room was quite spacy and clean.

The breakfast menu was the same every day, except for one course, the food choices were not very suitable or appealing to children. The mattress was so worn out that it had two areas sunken in on both sides of the bed. And I also have noticed some spots of mould in the shower both black and pink.

Superb location in the heart of the old town - you can easily walk to the train and coach station and to all major tourist attractions. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Hotel was very clean, quiet, beds very comfortable. My children were impressed with wifi. Our room was spacious and warm. I also liked the fact that it had historic past. Breakfast is served in a nice and spacious cafe room - maybe it had less choice than usual hotels, but for me it was perfectly enough and everything was fresh and tasty. All hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come again!

It would be great if this hotel had a child friendly breakfast options at a smaller price. As my kids eat only one croissant for breakfast (which was not available), I did not want to pay 10€ for them. But I came prepared. The only thing I missed is the fridge in the room as we always buy fresh milk.
