I was attending a private event nearby and chose to stay at Hotel Bivius to avoid the hassle and cost of a 40-minute taxi ride home — which would have cost about the same as the room. The hotel exceeded my expectations: the room and bathroom were very clean, linens were crisp and good quality, and all amenities were spot on. Without any request, I was kindly upgraded to a room on the quieter side of the building, which was appreciated. The on-site restaurant also came in handy, serving a refreshing cold beer after a long day. Overall, a great alternative to Luxembourg’s overpriced taxi fares — highly recommended for a simple, comfortable stay.

The hallway carpets are starting to show their age and could use an update — but this didn’t affect the quality of the stay.

It is a well-situated hotel 20 minutes by bus to the center. We had a room on the different side of the road, so the noise from the road wasn´t so big and we could sleep with the open window. The equipment of room was satisfactory but I missed little bit the kettle for water heting for making tea/coffee in the room. Best every day room cleaning, receptionist lend us portable air conditioner but we didn´t use, but it was a nice gesture. The room was well-sized for two people. The bed was very comfortable, it´s not very common in hotels. We didn´t have ordered breakfast, so I can´t evaluate it.

Excellent location of the hotel, directly off the highway. City center is only 10 minutes by bus, the bus stop is a 3 minutes walk from the hotel and all public transport in Luxembourg is for free. Big private parking place on-site, no additional charge fee for parking. Last but not least, the staff members were very friendly and helpful, they really care about their Customers. I can highly recommend this hotel!

Breakfast selection is moderate, but that is when comparing to large chain hotels, so I may have been expecting too much.

In-room amenities lacking - no kettle, coffee machine, fridge or complementary bottled water Location bit "out of the way" if you want something close to the center - about 20/25mins away on bus Small room - just bed, table/chair. Low water pressure (wasn't bad though dont get me wrong) Had to wander around to find staff on reception a few times. Could do with a bell/buzzer!

- for the price of Luxemburg this was reasonable - parking at the hotel free of charge - bus stop with free public transportation near the hotel - nice room with gift of local beer

- breakfast was quite basic - soundproof of walls could be significantly better - we heard noises from hall or some generator

The room is very functional and clean. Nothing to complain about. Staff was very helpful and flexible. I was late for breakfast and I asked to print some documents and none of that was an issue. The hotel is not far from a bus station and overall not far from the city center

Staff were brilliant with my request for gluten free food. I have Coeliac Disease and they were so careful. The gluten free croissants were delicious! The lady who served us at breakfast was so welcoming.and friendly. A great stop over. Thank you!

Excellent location - on a bus route into town. Staff were so very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant on site. Lots of parking (free). Decent size rooms.

A kettle in the room would have been nice, but overall its definitely worth staying here.

We left our car in the parking lot, and used the bus stop nearby to reach anywhere, it was quite handy. Staff was very helpful Room was spacious and super comfortable

- There could be a boiler or coffee machine in the room. - There is a tv but all the channels are in French. Netflix and YouTube is there, but no connection to internet. I tried to connect it, but somehow the WiFi on tv was blocked. I would enjoy watching something on tv after a long day outside.

The breakfast is fully sufficient. It includes excellent espresso and other hot drinks, juices and smoothies, fruit salad, breads, cheeses, yogurt and more. Every day, I also enjoy freshly cooked omelets and croissants.
