You must know the hotel is above a restaurant that throws karaoke at 11pm till 1 am. They finish sharp at 1 am, but then cleaning takes some time. Very good place anyways. Especially if you want to party a bit.

We stayed at Skol L'Original for a night whilst exploring the city of Luxembourg. We arrived, and used key safes to enter our room. The room and hotel are lovely, not a conventional hotel but the room was gorgeous, and clean. Its located 15 mins away from the centre of Luxembourg via free public transport which is a great bonus and it also had free car parking at the hotel which was great. The hotel does have a bar underneath the rooms which we were aware of when we booked. Music does play until 1am - which we were hesitant about but earplugs were provided in the room and we didn't really notice it as we were watching telly until late. The shower in the room was fantastic, perfect pressure and temperature. The room also had heating/air con system which was also a massive plus. If we ever return to Luxembourg, we would definitely stay here again, and recommend.

The bed in the room (Room 10) was extremely uncomfortable, it dipped in the middle so we didn't have a great nights sleep. A new mattress is definitely needed and extra pillows as the one we had was very thin. Be aware of the music until 1am - it didn't affect us, but i can see others being annoyed by this. We did go and check out the bar situation - but the drinks were far too expensive for us, travelling on a budget.

The rooms are exceptionally nicely decorated with all the comfort one can think of. On top each time I stayed there I enjoyed a terrace which was very convenient for me. I also appreciated the coffee machine, the free coffee capsules and beautiful ambient lighting. The room was impeccable and cleaned every day. There is free parking and the La Belle Etoile mall with plenty of choices (restaurants) is just 100 m away. There are bus stations nearby and basically one can reach anything in Luxembourg city in 10-15 minutes with direct lines to the airport and central station. Check in is a breeze, either someone at ground floor restaurant (try some of their dishes they are delicious) or in a special box with a code by the door. Also the staff are very nice. They granted me a special request even if they did not have the obligation to do so. Merci bien et a bientot.

Clean, no hassle, great parking.

Located directly next to a road so open windows gets a bit louder. There is a bar and nightclub located on the floor below the rooms so it might be loud. With the room furthest from the party it was ok, even with open windows (we don't like ac).

The room was exactly as it is shown in the photos. Small and nice. The best part was the veranda, which I would enjoy it better, if the weather was more sunny!

For the only thing that a visitor must worry is that on the ground floor there is a bar-restaurant. So the music might be for someone a little bit disturbing, but not for me.

Comfy, Really big bed, air-conditioner and didn't mind the big shared balcony! Had everything you would need during your stay.

Only thing I was disappointed at was that the shower only had one window. You couldn't close it, so during shower a lot of water went all over the place.

Really cool/edgy vibes. The staff are friendly, they kindly allowed us to check in early. The room was so clean, it smelt fresh and the bed was comfortable. We read previous reviews about the bar downstairs being noisy, but on a Monday night it was silent.

Clear communication on accessing the hotel and the room. Clean room with all basic needs. There are a few parking slots in front of the hotel, but a lot of places next to it. Restaurants nearby.

The place is closed during Weekend and Sunday. So, no breakfast on those days. But clear instructions were sent on how to access the hotel and the room.

Room was very clean, came with a fridge stocked with some water, a coffee machine, plenty of closet space, bed was pretty big which was a plus. Might seem far from the city centre but there’s a bus stop right in front and it will get you into town in around 10 minutes. The area is clean, cozy and very quiet.

The shower does not have a door so water will go all over the floor of the bathroom.
