Delicious breakfast, beautiful breakfast area with large windows with lots of greenery and daylight. The room is large, even an air purifier is present. The place is not far from the city, of course you have to walk, but by car it takes about 7-10 minutes, there is a bus stop nearby. But for me it is rather a plus, because the place is quiet. There is a well-rated restaurant attached to the hotel. Cosmetic items are also provided in the room

Meticulous girl at reception, demanded a high deposit for accommodation, cold floor in the bathroom and toilet, breakfast has red fish, but no cucumbers, no parking of its own, only public, so with things will have to walk to the hotel

We were really comfortable during our stay, location is great, next to many busses and a train station, area is lovely and close to the center, staff are so helpful and nice, room is big and bed and pillows are crazy comfortable! Room has a kettle and hot drinks, and there free coffee at the reception every morning. They were also kind and considerate placing my elderly parents in a room with direct access to the elevator. all and all, highly recommend

We booked two rooms, one for me and my husband and one for my parents the light in our room was a bit dim, would be great to have more lights, especially in the bathroom. I used to go up to my parents room to apply my makeup, as there's plenty of lights in their room, so it depends on the room :)

We really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. The location a bit away from the city center was perfect for walking the dog - it is close to nature and away from the main crowds. At the same time, the nearby train and bus connections made it easy to reach the city center or head out into the countryside.

The hotel has a restaurant with a terrace, and unfortunately, our room's windows faced directly onto it. On Friday evening, it was quite noisy, and the smell of cigarette smoke drifted into our room. This happened in spring, when there were relatively few people. I can only imagine it might be even more disturbing in the summer when the terrace is fully in use.

Good location, near train and bus stops. Out of town a bit so it is quieter. Very clean, Friendly staff. Two well regarded and awarded restaurants are on site. Lavish breakfast, best enjoyed if it is included in the room price.

The floor we stayed has different levels - one step up and one step down at a time, so watch where you place your feet. The lighting is low. The kitchen (early morning starts) and restaurant (late diners enjoying the ambience) can be noisy - ear plugs are provided for light sleepers, so the property knows this is an issue. But it is still nice to hear people enjoying themselves rather than shouting, arguing or swearing . . . The clear glass door to one of the restaurants opens directly onto the bottom of the stairs and is often left open, so you have to be careful you do not walk into it when coming down the stairs.

The room was modern and clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries etc. A more powerful shower would have been nice. Coffee making facilities and coffee provided, no milk or English tea. Our room was in a building across the road from the main hotel but this was not a problem at all. 10 minute free bus ride into town. 2 minute walk from Dommeldange train station.

Stairs up to the rooms with no handrail at times. Air con too powerful and directly onto the bed it couldn't be used. Windows therefore opened but road outside very noisy at times. Didn't opt for breakfast as too expensive at €22pppn.

From the moment you walk in the hotel is cosy and welcoming. I had an upgraded room which was very nice. The bed was extremely comfy and the room very clean. Its a very short walk to the train station and the bus to the airport goes from right outside.

It was busy on the saturday evening but not late, this was not an issue but i did find a little annoying the the ash tray for smokers outside was under my window so when smokers were outside, the smell came into my room. I like to sleep with the window slightly open - but once shut it was no issue. I wasn't there long enough to mention this, and i am sure they would have moved it if i had and no one was out there on the sunday eve.

Room: Stylish, ergonomically thoughtful design, beautiful selection of colours. Plenty of storage space. Great breakfast with a variety of options in the buffet - met our expectations perfectly and was a good balance with a price of 24 € per person. *** Booked months in advance securing an attractive price compared to the current listing. Apparently we also got an upgrade to the superior room, with separate shower and wc areas.

The party in the garden bar area continued until late, but that didn’t interfere with our schedule

It’s a cute boutique hotel on the north side of town, just a short bus ride to the high town, it was also convenient for heading to Vianden. Two restaurants to choose from, and a couple of decent ones a block away. Contrary to some other reviews I didn’t notice any noise from the street. Chia pudding was a nice breakfast choice.

Coffee was not the best, the breakfast was more than satisfactory, but in my view could have had more variety

This was our third time at the Hostellerie, we return for the location, the city is in walking distance, one can take the city elevator to reach the top. The breakfast is nice and the Hostellerie Restaurant amazing and always worth a reservation. The Staff is wonderful, welcoming, polite, seeking to make ones stay pleasant.

Perhaps a no cell phone use could be enforced by the staff, during breakfast times, as one guest held a private phone call entertaining all breakfast guests :(

The hotel is lovely. The location is excellent - good restaurants just a stroll away and the bus stop is a few 100m down the road. The rooms were spacious, warm and cosy - with the option to open the windows which I really like. Breakfast was a really nice variety of hot and cold foods and all delicious.

The only 'negative' is minor - the rooms are not especially soundproof and the noises from upstairs and the bar at the back are quite noticeable. That said, we slept well and the beds were extra comfy.
