If you want to use the spa don't book for the end of August as the facilities may not be open due to staff holidays. Also, if you don't read the small print you have to pay for the spa area which is quite small and only available for an hour or possibly an hour and a half.

The breakfast is a real treat, very nice range of hot and cold buffet. There is no cooked breakfast anymore (used to be omelette or pancakes made to order) but the buffet is very good. The ambience of the hotel is very peaceful and conducive to relaxation. It is a beautiful hotel, the flowers and gardens really add to the beauty. The view over the canyon and the infinity pool view is breathtaking.

The cleanliness around the pool could have been slightly better. The pool area needs to be cleaned down each evening. But overall it is pretty good. The standard of cleaning in the rooms has dropped slightly although it is still a pretty good standard. Our balcony floor hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The bathroom floor needed a deep clean.

The location is awesome, it's like the Alps in the Balkans. The food was exceptional, the breakfast and also we were having snacks and lunch in the restaurant. The staff was amiable and kind. This is a place to refresh your soul, mind, and body. The outdoor pool was awesome. The interior design and all the facilities like parks, resting areas, restaurant, nature, flowers around etc were wonderful. Such a pleasant resort. We will come back for sure.

Its an amazing resort by the dam surrounded by a pine forest. Fresh air specially good for people with lung problems and lower temperatures soecially in summer if you want to avoid it. The rooms are so spacious, bright with very nice terrace with mountain view. The bath is spacious and nice. The room service is very good and the room are so clean and also very nice heated specially in winter. The staff are so friendly with great hospitality and extremly kind, in the bar and restaurant specially I will notice Ace who was extremly kind and proffesional .The SPA center is so nice and proffesional. Around the houses there is football playground, children pkayground and swings.In winter tre resort is magic specially now with snow❄️☃️❄️

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are very big and clean. Everything was new and comfortable.

We didn't like the boy who was working at the reception-Igor. When we arrived at the property they said us that we can not pay in euros and bulgarian lev. They said only in macedonian dennars or by card. So we had to go to the city center and change money. It will be better to write that people can only pay by card and macedonian dennars. The second thing we didn't like was that they didn't answer the phone for 1 hour and we had to go and ask at reception. The third is that we wanted to make us a massage and they said tommorow after 4p.m. After we left the property...

The staff was really nice, starting from the front desk to everyone else we came in contact with! The location is also beautiful and picturesque. Everything was very neat and tidy.

We requested a room with a single bed since we are a couple, but got a room with twin beds that couldn't be put together. They were unable to accommodate us with a different room. The Spa deal (indoor pool, steam bath and sauna) wasn't really enjoyable, we spent about 40 mins before leaving as the smell of fluoride was too strong, and the indoor pool was quite mediocre. And the last thing was, at breakfast in the restaurant there was a couple with kids who were watching kids videos very loudly. The staff didn't say anything to them, didn't ask them to tone it down as they were obviously disturbing other guests. We rushed our breakfast because of this.

Worth coming here at least for the nature around. You are waking up to picturesque views of neighboring mountains, Berovo lake is walking distance as well as numerous hiking trails and in the surroundings. The city of Berovo is just 10-15min drive away if you feel like dining out or exploring the area. The room looked nice and rather spacious. Breakfast choice is not huge, but servings were fresh and tasted good. The pool area has enough space to sunbathe as well as to relax in the shade, nice sunbeds. Would love to visit again, especially if restaurant issues are looked into by management.

Doesn't feel like 5* service wise. While reception personnel was very nice, and so was the deer keeper, restaurant/pool bar staff barely paid any attention to the guests. Moreover, the breakfast buffey only started to be served at 8:30, despite claimed to be available since 8:00, so we had to spend our time waiting for it (so did guests at 5 other tables) and couldn't proceed with our plans which was disappointing. Drinks quality could be improved (homemade juice is just syrup mixed with water, coffee is barely drinkable, milkshake is almost fully water and ice). Bathroom facilities require renovation.

We loved the location and nature, the resort's indoor and outdoor aesthetic/style, the staff, the food in the restaurant(delicious food and large and versatile menu), the animals, the outdoor pool overlooking the surrounding forrest hills.

The indoor pool was under maintenance and unavailable during our short stay and the fitness room is poorly equipped for strength training.

A beautiful setting, warm, clean spacious suite. Staff were great, polite and attentive. Spa was really good and my wife had a relaxing massage. And we had a lovely dinner next to fire in the restaurant.

All minor items! The fridge made a bit of a noise, so we turned it off. The dimmable lights buzzed, so we turned them off. Plenty more lights in the room anyway. It was a little warm with the uncontrollable heating system, but we got some lovely fresh Berovo mountain air.

The resort’s location is nothing like we have visited before. You are literally in the forrest which brings an unbelievable peace and relaxation to your experience. It is not you typical 5 star spa resort but genuinely speaking it had a lot to offer. There are amazing trails around the property, nice roads for cycling and great air! Staff is friendly :)

Our advice to you is to work a bit on the food. Portion sizes - very big, presentation - good; taste - sometimes lacking.
