The pool was clean and there was shade at the pool. The bedding was clean. The bed was quite comfortable too. They delivered clean towels and bottled water daily and there is also a cleaning service everyday, though we got sick and could not leave the room for half our week stay so we did not use it much. Overall not the worst experience, especially considering the cost of the room.

We did not know that we would be required to either bring a swimming cap or rent one in order to use the regular swimming pool. I don't feel comfortable sharing a swimming cap so we didn't rent one and just lounged in the kids pool. Our toilet did not flush and we needed to remove the cisterns lid in order to get it to flush. We let staff know when we arrived and they said a technician would come the next day but he never arrived at all during our stay. The Wi-Fi is terrible and barely even works for a WhatsApp call So definitely not high speed. The rooms are definitely not soundproof. There was also some mold in the bathroom.

1) Strategic location (Although walking distance to Aman Central & Alor Setar Tower is around 400m but still considered ok for younster). 2) Ample parking. 3) It is link to sport center & has free excess to use the swimming pool. If you wanna play futsal, you have to rent the court. 4) Got a convenient shop in front of the lobby if you want to buy bread, maggie, or drinks to your room if you are too lazy to go out. 5) Behind the hotel has a dimsum restaurant.

1) If in late weekend evening, you might struggle to find empty parking as it might be full since the parking is not only for hotel guests but also for the outsider who come to the sport center. 2) My wife complaint that no coffees or tea bag given in the room (have to buy from the convenient shop. 3) The bathroom door has a loud sound when you want to open or close it. It can be annoying at midnight when you wanna open/close it, it will disturb others who are sleeping.

The room is spacious, variety of sports facilities, can buy tidbits in shops downstairs, near to Aman Central.

Should remind guests to keep quiet especially at night.

The staff were welcoming and efficient with check-in. The building is old ans simple but if you are looking for a basic, solid place to stay than this is a great option. The adjacent swimming pool is great for kids, open into the evening, and free to use if you have a room. There is a small store downstairs to get snacks and coffee. It is about a five minute walk to the town historical center and a huge mall where there are many food options. I would definitely book here again.

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room with a good view of Menara Alor Setar, free drinking water on every floor, 10 minutes walk to Aman Central shopping mall, excellent value for money and I would highly recommend to stay at Hotel ASRC

Low water pressure in shower and towels have stale smell, no supermarket near the hotel anymore but can get a GrabCar to Lotus Mergong

I like the location of the hotel and the swimming pools that provided by the hotel.
