This is a fairly typical business hotel but it represents good value for money. The room was large with all the mod cons and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with both a tub and a shower. The room was serviced every day. The breakfast was a lovely buffet with a wide selection of food, that we rated as excellent. We tried a Ramadan buffet on two evenings over our 1 week stay, these were also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the maid to the Operations Manager Mr Ravindran. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We used this as an overnight stop as it was a half hour car ride from Kedah to get the ferry to Langkawi. The hotel was amazing and the room was huge. Would highly recommend staying here and located near the mall which is nice to go to and unwind.

As a backpacker we used this as a one night stay before getting the ferry to Langkawi. Found it very strange as it was the first place we stayed that didn’t let you bring in your own food from outside. The TV could do with slight improvement as all the channels were quite fuzzy. Apart from this the place was really good and we couldn’t have faulted it.

Quaint and quiet part of town. The hotel is located at the far end of the road, so not much traffic. And is close to a lot of the local hawker centers. The bed and room is probably the only great thing about the hotel. Since I did not use the other facilities (restaurants), I shall not comment on those.

There's a lot of things to list; most of it from upkeep, maintenance, and just the choice of facilities. Here are some things that could be done better. - Remove touch buttons; great to have but shitty when it's not functional. - Clean your carpets, or do something. There's just stains everywhere. - Upkeep your toilet, label the hot, cold, toggle switch. - Please provide a fridge, not a wine chiller

The staff is wonderful! We got upgraded to the Executive Suite once arrived. The price we paid is a steal! A 4 star hotel paying less than RM 200 a night. The rooms are spacious, Wifi is great!! The TV has a lot channels you can watch as well. The tub is amazing to soak in!

I think just a little bit of maintenance is needed in the room and bathroom. Maybe updating the carpets to a more modern look. For our suite, the air conditioner is a bit blocked off from our bed, so it took a bit longer for the sleeping area to feel cold.

The bathroom. You guys can read the comments from others. As mine would be quite similar but with great hot water 😍. And their no outside food in the room policy. I’m not against it because of their shariah compliance policy but I love to tapao food n eat while layan TV watching the channels available. 😊the only thing I can’t do this trip. Have to stuff my face outside.

Old hotel but acceptable. They off the aircond at the lobby and hallway. Probably to save up on electricity cost but it was mildly uncomfortable for the guests. We took the Quad room and I have to say I was very pleased with the size of the room. Ample space and comfortable bed. The hotel probably needs a little upgrade but for the price I paid, i have no complaints. Will stay again whenever i'm back at Alor Setar.

I was staying here for 1 night and i give 5 stars for all aspect. The price is super reasonable even if i include the breakfast. The room also spacious and the light switch all touch screen. They also got dnd mode and makeup room light whenever you turn it on, people at the outside know that you're not available or dont want to be disturb. It also got mini fridge, iron facilities, praying mat, and kiblat sign. All good

Size of room is good. More importantly, there was adequate lighting - many Malaysian hotels seem to scrimp on lighting - either few lights or the use of low wattage bulbs - which make for dark rooms. The shower cubicle had a full door which is so much better than those that half two panels or worse only one panel (and the entire floor gets wet). Did not try the breakfast but note that there was a discount for senior citizens :)

Everything seemed OK.

Large room and very comfortable bed. The restaurant is good, but the menu could do with a few more suggestions for smaller dishes or snacks. Good breakfast.

Hot water system in my room was not working. New regulations of no food, drinks,or snacks from outside to be brought in to room means after restaurant closes at 9.30 you have to walk a fair way to find a Cafe or restaurant, if you are hungry.

spacious room with bath tub, comfortable, lot of parkings, nice location, friendly and helpful staff, iron board included in the room..perfect staycation for our hari raya!

water heater seems not function well, toilet not clean well, slippery floor, a bit hard to open the door.the card seems not detected well.
