For the price that I paid, I think this hotel deserves 9/10..from shaving kit, brush, iron, comb, hair dryer to fridge, they covered almost all the major essentials that is normally required. Staff was very friendly and hotel was clean

The shower pressure was too low.

Nice hotel, comfortable and clean room, value for money. While there's a few minutes of walking distance to the nearest midvalley mall, a free shuttle bus service is provided.

The floor of the shower ro om becomes slippery when it is wet. Please look into it.

breakfast was excellent. there was a good variety and everything was fresh - even the juice was freshly squeezed. The service was exceptional. Fantastic service staff in the restaurant on Jan 18, Saturday morning. We chose Opero because of the location. It was near the shopping mall and yet, not too near - so we did not have to contend with the crowd.

The shower could have been better. The water flow was weak even when we turned the tap on full. It was a choice between a relatively strong spray of water, and water that was warm enough. We could only get good hot water if we did not turn on the tap full.

Loved the warm n friendly service from all the Opero staffs especially the front desk staffs Juliana n Tasha who is so helpful n thoughtful n really served from their heart,the warm n peaceful ambience of the hotel n always feel safe with their friendly n helpful security officers always on their guards when doing their rounds. Had fun at swimming pool with a peaceful ambience n enjoyed their breakfast buffet which is simply delicious n totally spoilt for choices.

The toilet areas can see dirt with algaes especially the blind area n shower wall n flooring which i think Opero shld totally look into the cleaniness of the toilet area as the rest was clean n well kept. Lapse of toilet cleaniness was a bit disappointing n really hope some clean up to be done as all is perfect for me at Opero except their lapse on the toilet cleaniness.

The staff were welcoming at the start of our stay, from the reception, to the bar for our welcome drink & to housekeeping. I appreciate their efficiency to check us into a clean hotel & housekeeping was quick to assist us in the locked safebox. The hotel room was clean, brightly lited & all items neatly arranged when we returned.

It will be good to have some welcome fruits with a welcome card; a pleasant surprise after some long travelling. The items in the toilet were not replenished (cotton bud, facial pad, sanitary pad). Perhaps they could provide us with options to include or exclude breakfast during booking.

My 2nd stay within 2 months. Love that the hotel is new and facilities is good.

Front office could be further improve on their speed of check in. I was the only one for check in but took around 10 mins to complete the check in. Also, would be good to inform the guests on the free shuttle to Mid Valley shopping mall. Though not my first time here, but tends to forget that the service is available. Housekeeping should improve the cleanliness of all the dispensers as I can see dust on the dispensers for the hand-wash and body lotion dispensers. That's my 2nd time I have mentioned in the review.

Hotel is clean and modern. Check-in staff was friendly. Location is great as it is just directly opposite Southkey Mid Valley mall so it's extremely convenient. It is a great hotel if you're looking for clean and convenient hotel. The breakfast buffet spread was decent but food wasn't that great. But in JB, looking for good food is no issue. We only got the breakfast buffet because it came with the hotel booking.

The only con about the hotel was that the water pressure from the shower head was very weak. We tried to order 2 drinks after a long and hot day of shopping but many of the items were not available and when we finally confirmed our orders, preparation took quite a long time. But that is a small issue.

Second time staying here. Room is spacious and clean, we had a decent glimpse of the pool view from our windows. Check in were seamless, we arrived late so no check in crowd. Perfect.

Disappointed with the breakfast, we had a tight schedule so we bought breakfast at the eleventh hour but the quality of the breakfast were not as great as the first time we had. From the taste to the quality to the varieties of breakfast options, even the coffee also tasted different from the first time (last stay less than a year ago). It's been very warm these days, and lobby is always pretty crowded, the air condition is either not working or insufficient.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. First of all, for the price, it included breakfast which I wasn't even aware of. The breakfast was superb. The assortment and variety and quality was fantastic and the F&B staff even delighted us with fresh bakes from the kitchen and pushed through a trolley to serve us directly. Which breakfast would even serve ice cream? I was super wowed. Next that amazed me was the roof bar. It was lovely to sit there and enjoy the drinks. The room came with 2 special drinks free and it tasted superb. I even wanted to get the name of the drink so I could order it next time. The room was small but sufficient and it was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was also walkable to the mall. I will definitely come again with my family. This hotel gave unparalleled value.

The only thing I did not like was that there was no shower head in the shower and the water pressure can be quite pathetic at certain timings.

The location was very convenient it was a walking distance to the mall. The breakfast and service was great too. We were not aware we would be receiving welcome drinks which was something we welcomed. There was also shuttle service but we didnt take it since the mall was so close. They provided good toiletries as well!

We wish they allowed us to collect our drinks for a different time frame- 3pm to 9pm is too short, people might want to go out and do their activities before coming back.
