Very nice place to stay in Butterworth! Everything was very clean, I met the owner during check-in (which is at a nearby inn) and he was really nice. Even recommended some places to eat, things to do etc. The room was well-kept and very clean. As this place is in Butterworth and not in George Town it was very quiet.

Nothing about the homestay, but the locals have garbage piles for burning in a street nearby. It didn't bother me, but it might put some people off of exploring. It didn't smell bad though and the people living in that street were very friendly.

The room I was given was the perfect size, I chose the queen room which was more than enough space for one person so if you are travelling with a partner it would have been perfect. The staff were friendly and a lady who worked at the place I picked up my keys even gave me a lift to the property with my bags!

It wasn’t social as everyone was in their designated rooms and no social area but apart from that my stay was very good. So if you are looking for somewhere to have abit of peace it’s definitely accommodating.

It was lovely and clean and air con worked really well in such a small space. Owner communicated very well with instructions about collecting key a couple of mins drive away, and provided a list of suggested places to visit.

The homestay was a modern building but we were a bit concerned driving in there as it’s quite a run down area nearby. However we didn’t feel unsafe.

It has a very high standard of cleanliness. Easy to get the access as long as you follow the instructions…😁 The owner has a very good communication. He makes sure everything before we arrived. We will book again if we visit Butterworth in the future. Thank you Peddey…🌹🌹🌹

Our room is no S05, its closed to the back door. We smell the smoke of cigarettes, we dont know where it comes from. We are not smokers but we can smell it in the room.

I am light sleeper，room sound proof not good where you can hear next door Water piping sound when someone taking bath night time，or alarm ring from next few rooms in the morning，so my sleep disturb during night and morning

The owner and the host onsite (Biplap) were really accommodating, responsive and communicative. I enjoyed meeting Biplap (seemed very kind!) and coordinating with the owner was so easy. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. Price was also really worth it!!

my room was next to the common area, so it was a bit loud when some guests got water or something late at night, but still a comfy location!

Overall, everything was ok, has all the necessary things. Excellent for those who like quiet environment. I like it as it is only 8 minutes drive away from the train station..

Room a bit small to perform my solat, luckily the direction is just nice to fit the empty space behind the door.

Overall the room was very clean and comfortable. Provided with water dispenser and the staff is friendly. Definitely a good choice for solo travelers. However there is slight difficulty in finding the exact location as the road is small.
