Excellent facilities & staff, lovely room with great views. Restaurant food tasty & good value.

Didn’t realise it wasn’t on Penang Island.

thoroughly enjoyed my experience — the location was perfect, offering great convenience and beautiful surroundings. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and I really appreciated the chill, relaxing ambience throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety of options, and the staff were consistently attentive and welcoming. The shower facilities were fantastic, and I especially loved the use of Antipodes bath products, which added a luxurious touch to the stay. I also appreciated the excellent noise-proof windows, which made the room feel peaceful. It rained heavily that evening and I didn't hear a thing.

Everything was great. They let me check in early because the room was already vacant. A refundable deposit of RM100 is collected upon check in. Room tv had netflix and youtube that you need to sign in to your own account. Can Chrome Cast and Miracast your phones too. Had a Mini fridge (empty), had an electric kettle, hairdryer and a clothes steamer iron. Room had Multiple towels too. If you are hungry : They have room service but very pricey. Cut fruits are Rm18 eventho its the same as what they serve during breakfast. There is also a bakery/cakeshop at GFLOOR at the IGH sales galery that sells cup noodles, mineral water, cakes n snacks. There is also a ZUSS COFFEE too. No worries as there is Alot of food available in the area. Can just order Grab, pick up at G-Floor and eat! There is also an ECO-SHOP Shop nearby! BREAKFAST was good, it was not amazing taste but it is still good. Had Both western and asian breakfasts. Pastries are meh. Nasi lemak was okay okay. Their TEH TARIK was bomb!! Oh and They serve almond milk too if you are lactose intolerant like me! The pool was also nice. Great view! We were also able to view to sunset from our room! Lastly, they are an environmental friendly hotel, so no plastic bags in the room. Do get some yourself from outside if you wanna dispose stuff.

No Mineral water in the room. The pillows get flat too easily. Their aircond is too dry. No tissue inside the room (only on the bathroom vanity and toilet) TV volume is slow even on its highest. The room coffee cup is too tiny! Only could drink 3 sips and finish 😅 Its a hotel so yea no balcony...

My first time here. The room is spacious enough for solat, Alhamdulillah. It’s clean, comfortable, and very classic. I can see penang view from my floor. Breakfast provided ya allah really delicious and great variety! Other than that, I had no major issues. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the location is convenient very close to my workplace.

Staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived.The receptionist was friendly and helpful.The room was clean and tidy.Your breakfast choice was excellent.From local cuisine to western.Everything is available.My personal compliment to Mr.Taufik Adros for coming over personally asking us about our meal. The swimming pool facilities was great too.Clean towel and clean lay back chairs. Well done Crowne Plaza.Will bo looking forward on my next stay in other part of the world.

Choice of breakfast bread and rolls should be more.There is no whole meal bread. A good simple welcome drink will make alot of different.

Fast respond from the reception when i requested to change room as per booking..rapid response and kind staff..

Called up earlier to request for early check in..allowed to do so by staff..but when i got there the staff said the room is not ready as check in is at 3pm..perhaps he didn’t see my booking properly and place me in the city view room instead of seaview room..a mistake that shouldn’t happen for a renowned hotel chain..i believe there will be improvement and definitely will come and stay here again in future

the place is good and comfortable to stay. thank God this hotel available in Butterworth Penang as hard for me to find good and nice hotel to stay near by... hope other guest can taken a good care the facilities/room as all is brand new....

parking is spacious.... but the staff forgot to provide slip for free parking and i had to pay myr6.00 but no worries still acceptable... the service from staff superb good and im so happy. feel welcome the moment i enter the lobby thank u,

I stayed here solo as a pit stop after a late night train ride and before going to Georgetown in the morning. Hotel seems brand new and luxuriously decorated. Staff were very welcoming and accomodating for my late-night check in (even though I was sweaty and dressed for hiking). Rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. I also ordered room service for breakfast and it was quite good. I actually wish I stayed more nights here and just went to the island by ferry for daytime activities.

Nothing I didn't like

Brand new facilities, felt crisp, clean and unused. Breakfast was nice, as were the staff. Location was peaceful with no road noise. Lovely rooftop pool and gym facilities.

Express laundry service touted as available but was not. I formed the hotel they should amend their instructions to avoid disappointment.

Strategic location, no traffic congestion and near to Sunway Carnival Mall

Breakfast not included in the hotel package. They should promote and include breakfast in certain room package. The guard and the hotel management policy make it hard to us as a customer when to pick up Zus Coffee order (strictly no waiting area). Please revise the policy or the customer will book another hotel.
