Clean, modern design. Check in check out is fast. There is a small cafe/grocery store at ground floor so can buy coffee/snacks conveniently, but not open early mornings so if you are not taking the breakfast buffet better buy something the day before. Staffs are polite. Overall pleasant stay.

The aircond is a bit warm. Would love it if it is a little cooler. I think this is Ibis group policy maybe, went to Ibis in another state also same. Can't change it, only up to a certain level. Also, for Muslims there are no warung makan nearby on the same street, have to cross the very busy street which is quite dangerous.

The ventilation is not really good because toilet is not fully walled. So the smell spread to the bedside when someone pooped. Other than that everything were great. This is my second visit. I expect a coffe maker in the room just like my experience during my first visit but the replaced it with water dispenser which i doubt its water purity and source.

Good facilities for a short city stay. Suited for business travel as well. Breakfast spread was good with a a balance of local and continental. Room had all facilities needed and even had a UV sanitiser for small equipments like mobile phone. Location is good - close to places of interests and short drive to different beaches. Staff were very helpful and able to give recommendations on food etc. Hotel is well maintained and all areas are very clean. Nice ambience throughout.

Like many hotels, no hand towels provided so that was a bit inconvenient.

Location was good. Quiet area. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Water in shower good setting. Parking ample. Staff friendly and helpful. Entertainment selection was great!

Room slightly on the smaller side (but ok coz everything else was functional) Toilet & shower were not private. Lowered the AC setting but kept going back to higher temp ie 24oC after 4 hours. Fridge was not cold. Vending machine payment system wasnt working (had to pay and open manually)

I've stayed at Ibis Hotel Kota Bharu five times now, and it never disappoints. From the moment you step in, the staff welcomes you with warm smiles that truly make a difference after a long journey. The rooms are always clean, and I really appreciate their new concept, which offers much better privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. Location is quiet, but still close to downtown. A walk of 10 minutes. Hotel is modern, everything works, and it is very clean.

The airco is much to cold. Outside 33, inside approx. 18! Especially with breakfast there is a need to dress warm. Although we booked throug Booking and we paid at arrival, we he'd to pay a sum of 50 RM cash as a kind of deposit. Strange and it meant an extra transaction at checking out. The elevators only work with a room key. To any floor. This is a hassle because you also need the key to have electricity in your room. Anyway at some point I was forced to take the stairs, but it turned out that I got more or less locked in the staircase, because entrance to some floors (e.g. floor P for breakfast) was locked. Unhandy but more severe: very unsafe!

The hotel is very nice and modern, in the lobby there are free games for kids: air hokey, football and playground for little ones. Also at the lobby you can grab a welcome drink or buy snacks/soda at a vending machine at a reasonable price. The rooms are great, have a lot of ammendies, tv has a good selection of movies to watch. The bed is nice and comfy. The shower is great and clean, I have enjoyed its tropical shower with good water pressure The room we booked had a 2 spare rooms with a great balcony as a surprise which we enjoyed a lot. My wife greatly appreciated the capsule coffee machine with free coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay for families.

The breakfast tends more to Malaysian food, and I would recommend to add a bit more western cousine. Coffee was only Americano, Capuccino, and others you need to pay, but overall breakfast is still nice-had some local food which haven't tried before. Also, I do appreciate omelet and noodles station

The water quality was not clean as yellowish sometime , this is only commend otherwise will be almost perfect for a stay over in KB

The room is clean with all basic aminities. However, they don't give you free toothbrush. But it is accepted for 3 star hotel. The rooms was nice decorated and clean. The best part is they provide you with long pillow and it is really convenient vinient for me. The staff is really friendly and the cleaner also good. Overall, I really satisfied with this hotel.

They have swimming pool but very small.

Front reception staff very helpful, understood minimal English. Checking in was smooth. Our room had everything we needed in a very compact design. Bed was comfortable, toiletries supplied, mini fridge. We had a meal at the restaurant (was average) as everything else seemed closed on Sunday. Front desk organised taxi for 3.30am to wakaf bharu station to catch the jungle line train.(50 ringgit, bit steep but reliable. We couldn't schedule a grab) Was a 1 night quick stay, but would recommend.
