We loved the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though renovations are in full swing it didn’t detract too much from the gentle ambiance of the place. We enjoyed a short walk to the golf course and had a very nice lunch 🥗 Club sandwich 🥪 and a cold beer . The pool was lovely apart from what looked like an old jacuzzi which was full of mud and probably a host to mosquitoes…this was a shame

There was a lack of information. We arrived later in the evening, but only got told where to eat breakfast. There wasn’t an information pack in the room. We had to ask what building was open as the sunset bar was closed. We did discover Darlin darlin , but they offered limited snacks.

The people were very helpful. Initially they could not get the room I wanted (connecting) but the day after they managed to get us a room next door. We went during the low season. It was a very relaxing break.

The facilities can be better. Recreation (water sports) was not available, indoor recreation can be upgraded. Wifi network is extremely poor. TV network doesn't work.

Will be great if able to adjust the air cond to swing - as it is blowing directly to my face when sleep and make me feel very uncomfortable. I have to use a chair to manually adjust the vent and it's hard to do that. Our room is far from the lobby and my mum who is a bit old find it difficult to walk a few times a day from room to lobby / restaurant / beach and vice versa. Didn't know it's cheaper to book direct.

The staff is phenomenal. We had exceptional service with everyone that we met. They went above and beyond what we expected with their hospitality and service. The breakfast staff, duty manager, check in etc. I left my kindle behind and they found it as well.

The facilities and the hotel itself was built awhile ago and you can't expect it to be brand new. The place is vast and it's difficult to maintain such a huge property. Expect the usual wear and tear. The rooms have been updated and is clean. The bed is very comfortable. Their food selection needs to vary as the breakfast, lunch and dinner are the same.

We had a very unforgettable time in Karambunai. The hotel environment is very good, the facilities are very complete, the staff are very enthusiastic, basically everything is available. Our room is very spacious and we can see the scenery of the sea. We are very lucky to encounter a very beautiful sunset. Overall, it is a very good experience. I hope that the next time I go, it can maintain this level.

When I went there, many places were under renovation. I hope to see more beautiful facilities next time I go.

Everything! We were staying up the road and were extremely unhappy and once I messaged Nexus we were checking in early to our beautiful ocean view room. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were extremely accommodating. This resort has everything in one spot and we’re lucky enough to basically have it all to ourselves during low season. There’s place to relax on the beach or the pool, heaps of restaurants to choose from (some closed due to low season numbers) bars, huge chess board, darts, pool, a wellness spa, kids club, hammocks, literally everything you need. Do keep in mind in low season some things aren’t open but we had the best time and it would be even better during peak season!

Nothing, we had the best stay!

The view from the room is lovely, looking over the beautifully landscaped grounds and out to sea where you can watch the sunset in the evening. We also loved spotting the resident monitor lizards. The spa is great too with a good range of treatments and very nice facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Clement was fantastic in helping us to arrange sightseeing trips and our transfer back to the airport. Dayang greeted us for breakfast each morning with her beautiful smile and did everything possible to ensure we had a good start to the day.

The only thing I would say is that parts of the resort could do with a refresh as some areas are a bit worn and dated. However, that did not impact our stay.

check-in was a breeze. room was perfect when i arrived. beach was area was well very cleaned and loungers are maintain clean. i had room service for dinner and it was great. food portion was delicious and large. breakfast was great with food variety - little asian & little western. pool was cleaned and the loungers were well maintained.

reception felt overwhelmed with only 2 person but reception should have brief a little on logistics of the room, breakfast area, etc. the bathroom mirror was not cleaned properly. i had room service but unfortunately, even after informing via chat app that i was done, the tray was not collected even after i checked out. during breakfast, waitress was overwhelmed trying to clean a table for me. seems they are under staff.
