The staff is very helpful but first day he didn't tell me that the parking need a validate first to get rm2 per day. Second day only i knew it need to validate at counter. The room is big for a couple and one kid. The tv is nice have a movie channel I love the shower gel so much! The breakfast is okay but can improve more Only a 3 minutes to ampang park and to take a bus and go to lrt

We can't take a lift from parking, need to use one level using a stair. Im okay with that but my husband is oku physical. It's hard for him.. The parking is weird to exit Ive experienced a very good hotel far from this before with the same price, so a little bit low than my expectations

We really enjoyed our stay at Oakwood. The hotel is located outside of the city center but it’s easy to get a Grab or taxi in the area. There are a few restaurant options that are pretty good and in walking distance as well as a local supermarket across the street. We booked the Deluxe King room which was spacious and cleaned everyday. The breakfast was good bust mostly the same every morning. There’s a huge pool outside though not many guests used it. Overall, I’ll recommend this hotel if traveling on a budget and if you prefer to be out of the busy city center.

I have stayed at Oakwood quite a number of times over the years. The location is convenient with easy access to shops and restaurants and a short ride to major landmarks like KLCC, Petronas Towers, Pavilion,etc. The staff are very helpful and professional.

The property is a bit dated and it’s noticeable that some of the facilities can do with some upgrades especially the lifts. There is only 2 guest lifts for the property. On the last 2-3 days of my stay, there was a large group of guests(80-100) checking in and I had to wait for over 15 mins just to get back to my room. I wish they can upgrade the lift/room card access to tap or swipe instead of having to insert in into the lift panel every time you need to go up/down or into your room. Every time during my stay, I have had to show other guests how to use the lift because the magnetic cards are so unreliable and it holds up everyone else when they can’t get it to work.

Friendly staff throughout our stay, spacious room, good wifi connection, some great restaurant options within walking distance (We especially loved Sahara and Sohl for their beautiful open-air dining environments)

We booked the room for 3 guests but only 2 towels/cutlery sets were provided. The restaurant next to the pool was one of the reasons we booked the hotel but they were out-of-stock on so many items everyday during our 10-day stay. Therefore, besides the buffet breakfast, it was not a convenience to have the onsite restaurant. Laundry room was used by hotel staff for washing/drying towels so we were having to check 4-5 times/day to see if the machines were finally available for our use. Surely the hotel has their own machines to use to ensure the guests have access to the two washers/dryers they advertise?

Room was comfy ,clean and spacious. It had a sink, microwave and fridge too. I like that, very helpful. Wish there were plates and knives too, so that we could cut our fruit.Also a hand towel. We stayed at Oakwood Ho chi Min, they provided all that and more even. I enjoyed the spacious rain shower and spacious bathroom that had big bottles of soap, handsoap and shampoo. I liked the free flow of filtered water . Good to have iced water downstairs in lobby and the DIY Starbucks corner. Excellent idea. Bed was comfy and clean. Room and lobby smelt fresh and clean. Great location too. Easy to walk to 7 11 convenience store, and some food options nearby. Small Grocery store and pharmacy across the road. A nice groc store a block down.

I had a wonderful stay at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur. The location is excellent—close to city attractions, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful rest. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed! Staff were courteous and attentive, especially at the front desk and housekeeping. I appreciated the smooth check-in/check-out process and their willingness to accommodate special requests. The facilities are also a plus—especially the pool and gym, which were clean and well-maintained. The in-house dining options were also pleasant, with a decent breakfast spread. Overall, it was a great balance of comfort, location, and service. I would definitely recommend Oakwood to both business and leisure travelers looking for a reliable and relaxing stay in KL.

The hotel is on a busy four-lane road, but the noise doesn't carry much to the higher floors. Good connections from the centre by bus (stop is in front of the hotel) or metro (10 min. walk). Staff is attentive, room facilities good, bed comfortable, wifi reliable, two lifts, small fridge in room. Swimming pool, good choice for breakfast, there is a nonstop 7/11 shop next door.

The hotel looks better in some of the photos than it actually does, but overall it was good. Could do with some maintenance/repair in some cases - e.g. the outside facade of the balconies, possibly the shower in the bathroom. The breakfast is more for Malaysians and Indian, its variety but there is something for Europeans as well, sometimes there was chaos at breakfast. There were many people swimming in the pool dressed in what they came in, which is not exactly the most hygienic thing to do, so we preferred not to swim.

big spacious suite rooms with oven and all the necessary cutleries. rooms were clean and they cleaned our room everyday. breakfast was good. great value for the money but most of the items were repeated everyday nothing was changed much. location was the best thing about this property. its right on jalan ampang and this road has everything to offer on both sides. its also very close to klcc.

the key cards are very old and sometimes they dont work in the lifts or the doors. you have to try multiple times. they are also not touch based but you have to insert the whole card. maybe older technology. this is something they can work on.

Spacious, basic accommodation which was perfect for our family of four. Pool was decent size and small gym also available. Breakfast buffet had basic selection of food and we all found something each day, and there was small variety each day. Staff were friendly and helped us book cars to get us about. Supermarket and a few restaurants are close by too. Overall very happy and value for money.

The hotel is slightly further out of the city which was ok but a slightly further walk than expected.
